I just wanted to say that I don't really necessarily care about clouds that much, they're nice, but I'm more about the efficiency. Just because you aren't seeing tons of visible vapor (although lately, with adjusted screen and leaving it on for a few days now, turning it down at night, doesn't mean it isn't hitting. I've been getting pretty good off mine. Also the vapor production has improved, I think I've got my technique down pat now. On the bright side, my d022 comes in today!

I understand that I'm still getting medicated during those times when I don't see a nice cloud... but I still like a nice cloud :brow:

I am setting up a water path with old parts.
I leave my NANO on outside in my garden.
Like I said before I need some GonG's.
However I like the creative challenge to medicate!

I find it's harder to learn good technique through water. But the good kind of harder!! Have fun with the glass man!

I've followed the tips and tricks from everyone on here (sweet spot setting right between 5.5v - 6v), adjusted my screen accordingly to the size of the load (I hate when the load is too close to the heater or touching it), and I get some decent clouds off the vape. I'm not a cloud chaser by any means, but coming from using portables exclusively, this thing really tosses them out. That being said, I did notice it depends on the material I'm using and its properties (I have some that really produces some clouds, and some that produce very little clouds but get the job done, sometimes better than the cloudy stuff).

Then again, I've got my draw rate down pat thanks to the portables. When it comes to the water accessory, GL with that learning curve. I have a water pipe I use with the Nano, but I find I have to draw harder with it Either way you should be fine. Anyway GL! I've had my Nano for almost 2 months now and I'm loving it. Wish I had made the jump to a desktop a bit sooner; oh well better late than never.

Thanks man! Yeah, I'm excited for it, the mail man should be here within the hour, I'm having a small stem and making some lunch while waiting, haha! It's been almost a month, which can be expected from dhgate, so I've been waiting. I agree on portable helping me with my draw rate. I got my enano knowing how to draw from it well, since I have a firewood 3, which is pretty similar.

I took the NANO out of rotation because I was breaking GonG's like nobodies business however I installed some outdoor plugs and put the NANO back in rotation. At 420 I was trying out the NANO @ 6.0 filled the broken stem with DUTCH TREAT with my new set up and life is worth living!

I need to order more GonG's.

So what can we do to help? If its our awareness and sympathy you already have it but beyond that its between you, the dealer and you card company. However if you know of something that the forum members can do let us know.

I had an unusual and unpleasant experience with my Nano the other day. I had just cleaned my adjustable stem and screen in PBW and during my first draw on the clean stem, I ended up with a mouthful of hot screen and cannabis / ABV. The screen and contents just came right through the stem.

Yikes!

Gotta stretch out that screen before reinstalling it after cleaning. If it does not feel tight when pushing the screen back into the gong/stem then take it out and stretch it a little more. It's easy to do and saves you from getting a lung/mouth full of abv and hot screen lol.

You definitely want resistance when pushing the screen in place. You generally would use a chopstick and need to put some pressure behind it. Also, I don't know if there is a right or wrong way, but I put my screen in so that that flat end is pointing closer to the heater. IMO, It is harder to do with the stem versus a gong.

Hey @ataxian, maybe one of those wooden wongs for the nano that Ed makes would help you with less gong breakage? I was going to look into one myself.

I just had my Nano adapter replaced in January & its giving me trouble again. What seems to be a problem with these wires that they only work for a few months then give out? Since the replacement my Nano worked fine until today when I saw the light on & went to take a hit but when I picked it up it was ice cold with the light on!! That shit really scared me I thought my Nano was dead but I pulled & reinserted the plug & plugged it in to another outlet & it warmed up again. Right now its against acting funny, when I hold the unit straight the light stays on but when I flip it upside down the light goes off. With these loose connection issues I'm facing with my unit its making it real annoying to use.

There is something wrong. I'm in the EU, using a 55W converter. If i set the Nano to 10 the herb will immediately start burning when I inhale. I use it at just below 6 for herbs and the Nano is ready to go after 10 minutes of warm-up. I get a good cloud with the first hit, straight away. After half an hour the whole thing is very warm so that I have to hold it from the bottom of the unit to be comfortable.
You could try another converter, hopefully that's wher the problem is.

@Haze Mister it sounds like your Enano is working fine. 10 temp is too hot for even shatter. The Enanos can vary in heat. Most of us get good results around temp 6. Some of us prefer higher or lower temperatures.

It could even be your electrical outlet depending how high or low heat you have by a few 1/10s of s degree. I turn the temp up around to 6.75 when I vaporize shatter.

Some of my cannabis requires a heat level of 6.5 and I have other strains that need a lower heat, even as low as 5.75. If my vapor is too harsh I turn my heat down. If I'm not getting enough flavor I turn it up.

Often cannabis that is dryer requires a lower heat on the Enano. That has been my experience.

Awesome! Hope it goes well with your water attachment. I also have a Firewood 3 lmao... great little portable. For me at least, the Firewood 3 comes off like a portable E-nano haha.

Exactly like a portable nano! Also it's been working out great, I'm getting 3-4 fantastic whitewalling rips out of .1 of this Lady Red I have! I love it!

I find placing the load further from the heater gives me a far more even roast, whereas having it closer gives me a bit of pinpoint charring. I usually position the basket screen as low as it will go in the 19mm gong. The extra distance does not seem to rob it of any heat.

With the Nano set @ 6.25-6.5 I usually get two big white-walling draws followed by a one last wispy one using around .025g-.035g of finely ground material through any of my glass pieces. The resulting abv is always a nice medium brown.

I have the same draw count on similar material, but I leave my e-nano at 7 or a hair below.

Probably due to our Nano's having slightly different heating elements.

I just wanted to report back, that in my case the problem really was the converter.
As @Haze Mister stated above, 50W should be sufficient. Maybe the converter which I bought was faulty, i don't know. I am using a 100W model now and the E-Nano runs noticeably hotter now!

I am so happy about it and the Nano is so beautiful. Maybe I will post a picture later if you would like!

What really stands out so far is definitely the amazing taste this thing produces and yes ... of course its beautiful appearance

I have to admit though, that obviously I still have to learn a lot when it comes to technique.
Didn't expected this, since I've watched several tutorials and have read many many pages of this source of information but seems like I still queue goofy

I'm still a step away from the point I want to be, but I surely will take some more time to get used to it and will report back. I am sure you guys can give some amazing advice.
