Think of the hopper as more of an intense one-hitter than a bowl/session vape.

Man I dunno.. is the Ti a plating or just a mere finish? Surely the "Ti" Hopper cannot be turned out of a billet of solid Titanium. Cost to manufacture would be too prohibitive...
Anywho I do have to say the SS hopper would be a great choice. I am a machinist for my job and can attest to the beautiful turning work done on this thing. Doesn't it have a 3D-printed heating element as well? It looks good!

The thin outer shell alone is what is made out of titanium, and it is most definitely substantial enough to lower the weight significantly. I cant understand why users are reporting different vape temperature, as the isolated innards are exactly the same up to the mouthpiece tip, unless of course the titanium has a distinct conductivity through the differing metals of the back end (which is most likely a potentiometer). I also lathe stuff every now and then and am regretting not ordering one of each if only just to compare - went instead for two TI units.
Looking forward bro.... I tried using less material, slower draw, etc. and it just would not milk up to my liking. I tried different grind consistencies, basically did all the same testing that I did for my original defective hot "one temperature (max)" and max temp on your GH was definitely not as hot as my OG (defective). Perhaps the OG since it was fucked, was "too hot", but that's the temp ceiling i'm looking for in a GH.
From your usage patterns (from what i've read), it sounds like i'm a heavier power user than you, I can rip massive bowls in one rip, and as @grokit just mentioned, it's more of an intense one hitter - and i'm more of a higher temp session guy. That bowl is super small.
Looking forward to the GH mass release hopefully soon! As soon as PIU stocks 'em, i'll be surely picking up another one (or two) to test if the prices are reasonable.
In the meantime all my expectations for flavour, vapour quality, and fast extraction have been exceeded with the new Supreme v.3. Obviously apples to watermelons, but until the summer I don't require an outside of the house portable.

Nar not sold out...they are releasing 20 a day (10 in the morning and 10 at night) for an unspecified period of time, to give evryone a chance.
I personally don't think it's worth the extra $150 (over preorder) but I'm happily sipping on my crafty, so I can wait
Each to their own though, not having a go at anyone who does give in.
I know I would love to have one right now.

exactly! the Hopper is one hit wonder. perfect load for the Hopper is as much as you can inhale at once.
i'm not sure about grind though. very different feedbacks. some say it is better to use rough grind, some prefer fine powder. i guess that powder can get into the heater and stuck in da mouthpiece sieve as well, which is kinda no bueno. so maybe using both grinds are a way to go? like a sandwich. rough grind at the top and bottom, fine one (or kief) in da middle, perhaps.

@VapeFiend.com Can you confirm you guys gonna do the warranty claim and everything with GHL? I thought one would have to register at GHL to get the lifetime warranty. But that way, we had to deal with everything on our own..? Would be great to hear an official statement.

What do you mean by this? Backers have already received their units. Preorders started posting shipping confirmation on the 23rd, so that lines up with GH's claim.

Yes, I don't think anyone was debating this...I think there was some confusion that some people didn't realize these were retail backers, not retail pre-orders.

How exactly would that work? At this point, no retailer is going to have enough stock to replace a broken unit. It's still going to have to come from HL, which is not going to be fast. Guess you would save a bit on shipping if you only had to send it back to the place you bought it, but I'm not sure that's even how it would work- for the warranty you still have to register it with HL here in the US.

For those of you that bought Gh at Vapefiend, were they selling colored ones too or just plain Ti?
@biohacker Yeah I understand what you mean, I am not a real heavy user. I can get medicated with small amounts of herb and the GH is perfect for that. It's not perfect for long sessions because it gets warm but it is capable. I think it can keep up with me more than I can keep up with it. It's so practical for me at the moment and I'm glad I have it. When I want sessions I can still pull out my other vaporizers. About it not getting to the higher temperatures you want/are looking for. I can make my ABV really dark, almost black, but I just don't really like the taste. It's like when I use my Pax2 I never use the last petal because I feel like the taste is borderline combustion. Thanks again for letting me enjoy this GH at all times of the day, it's just so convenient. I will try and get a video of it in action by Friday. I have a busy day today.

@b0 It's going to be cloudy with a chance of GH's. You're going to love it once you get the hang of it. The convince and taste make this device hard to beat. I've been using it non stop, it amazes me how fast it medicates.
