As soon as someone gets their new unit please make a thorough video, it would be much appreciated since I am ready to click the buy button as soon as I see an updated review!

I just sent Vaporfection an e-mail about the return label, and Dan was quick to reply. They will be shipping new units to international customers soon. It all sounds good, I'm looking forward to using the new unit, and I do appreciate "New Vaporfection's" great customer service.

Whats up with this version of the mivape?

"Build: Constructed from a glass like, heatproof acrylic with metal band."

I think that was an older prototype of the miVape which looks amazing but sadly, I dont think that one ever made it to full production. I have seen various designs of the miVape until they landed on the model that is pictured on their website which is the real miVape that everyone will be getting.

Looks like a more durable version, I would pay extra for this if it could be a premium version.

I just wish it would come out already. This thing has been in production since 2012! and it is still on backorder. I'm starting to lose my patience.
Lol its been in production since i believe 2010... I grabbed the vivape January 2011 and the mivape was available for preorder then...

That being said it has already been released, you just didnt order auick enough and your lucky you didnt because then youd experience the same problems we are...

i already got my return label but ended up leaving for vacation so ill be mailing it back monday...

As for "new vaporfections customer service" nothing has changed there. Dan has been on top of taking care of me and reaching out to make sure everythings going well every now and then... Thats with both the vivape when i had it and the mivape . Hes been there since the beginning or close to the beginning and hes such a valuable asset that im assuming they had to promote him when they got bought out and cleaned house...

The only thing i dont think the old vaporfection would do is replace the units for free... When the vivape came out they already had a vivape2 3-4 months later and no original owners got replacements... (I did send mine in for a repair though under warranty and i think they rebuilt it to vivape 2 specs.)

The only other gripe i have besides the too hot unit it the removal of the 24 hr replacement option... Back when my vivape heater kicked it, and that was my only vape i was devestated but i had the 24 hr replacement option and got a new unit the next day... I ended up using that twice well worth the money but i dont see that as an option anymore @Vaporfection

Anyway ill be sending out mine by the beginning of the week so hopefully i have a better unit soon to review thats not just sitting in a drawer...

If your on the fence right now i would recommend waiting a month or 2 until original owners get replacements and make some betterreviews..

*also just a side note for anyome that got return labels. The part about the battery being returned is only for faulty batters that dont charge at all/dont work or whatever problms people sre having...

If you charge it and it gets stuck sround 80% and then u unplug it its charged thats okay (hardware issue) and if its stuck in there just snap it out and keep it... Unless you have serious issues with the battery

I have not cleaned the mouthpiece but id assume an iso salt bath with some shaking would do the trick... Throw the screen in there as wrll but seperated snd should clean that too
Whats up with this version of the mivape
i believe that was the latest prototype after the champs show or wherever they had it... The prototype (if im remebering the 2 videos correctly) was anout 2x bigger than the current version of the mivape... And also many people on here complained about the red/green lights and colorblindness ...

Honetly though imo, besides the bottom where the battery and the led lights the mock up looks very similar to The current production unit... Yeah the materials look better but its just a computer mock up... The plastic top and back absorb a lot of the heat and if they used metal Around the unit it woild probably be way too hot and take forever to cool down

I need a vape ASAP I haven't been able to medicate since I sold my pax2 a month ago. So it is either the mivape in 2 weeks (if it is ready to ship out by then) or i'll just order another pax2 or Davinci ascent, I can't decide.

WE WANT MIVAPE, WHEN DO WE WANT IT....NOW:rockon:

I ordered one but had to leave for vacation. Can't wait to get home, give it several cycles and report. Can we use something other than YouTube on FC?

When you click the Media button, the list of supported hosts is shown: Dailymotion, Facebook, Liveleak, Metacafe, Vimeo, YouTube. This is determined by the FC software so we can't support other sites.

Nothing new to report here.

Anything above 250f is definitely too much at least for my liking. Charging it didn't stop at 80% instead I watched it creep up into the 90s until it displayed full. I believe the store I ordered from had the initial versions in stock. I don't think a video review is going to happen at least from me until I have the right version.

In the meantime I found it to be just as @Just Justin and @ShayWhiteGrow experienced. I can't compare it to Crafty since I have never tried it. I've only had a wispr for a portable years ago and an imag rebranded For Cloud, the conductive pen. I am pleased with the size. For the price I want a not so plastic feel but can imagin that a metal body will get even hotter. But looks wise it does remind me of a nic box mods which I use. It took me 5 mins to fully figure the menu system. Flavor is fine for a portable (after trying all the temps you all mentioned). Discrete whispy vapor at first, a few decent ones, then material spent. Probably 5 slow deep medium draws (I don't know if that counts as "hoarking" pulls). So yeah no clouds but the darn nic vape culture has me cloud chasing which is nit needed at all with herb vaping as we want to be discrete (I'll save making massive clouds at home with my Evo). At 250f I didn't find it a harsh draw and comfortable in my hands (I blow glass and handle hot material so feeling the warm unit didn't discomfort me) and didn't find much draw restriction if any.

I too will be watch for updated model reports to come in before I send in my model.

**edit** Doing another sess with the unit at 280 and able to get several more draws in so like 7-8 until popcorn. I'm certainly vaked. My coarse grind was pretty even.

Sorry all. I was hoping to have the latest one for a report.

there is nothing new to report because you didn't get a new unit, why even report at all?

If I don't see a satisfying updated review and see new stock in at vaporfection in 2 weeks I'm taking my money elsewhere. This vape has been in production since 2011, that's 4 years! Their desktop model didn't get the best reviews anyways since the touchscreen was kinda gimmicky and the fan stayed on 24/7.

It's maybe been in Development on and off for four years but they just started Production a short time ago, big difference. Now they gotta work out the early mass production bugs. Give it time and wish 'em the best if you don't have a horse in the race, That's what I'm doin' anyways.

and hats off to those like dormouse and Mynameismud for staying faithful for a few years and others who took a chance on the first Production run of the mivape, hope you all have working models soon.

:peace:

I suppose I'm being impatient. I understand the production process, I am just really excited to try this vape out and hopefully all the bugs will be worked out and the waiting will not have been in vain. All the best to Vaporfection!
