Thanks! VC sounds pretty great so far.
Oh yeah, how's the balance and feel in the mouth? I assume you can just hold it with your lips while taking a few puffs, and then... would it be a bad idea to reheat while still holding in your lips (one-handed)? :spliff:

There is a little carb or shotgun so i typically use it one handed. Because you need to hit the flame in the right spot on the cap and spin the unit while heating the mouth heat move probably wouldn't be recommended.

Mmmmm, nug chunks!

Hey Krazy, how's extraction with a regular lighter?

Have only tried torch lighter thus far. I am afraid all the impurities will ruin the cap but i will probably try the stove next. I will probably try a regular lighter eventually.

In a personal message to the manufacturer my biggest complaint thus far sounds like it will be solved on the production model. It is simply that i don't like the quality of the mouth piece. Just feels a little cheap. I was assured production models would have a higher quality mouth piece... not to mention we will eventually see Ed wood mouth pieces

Hi George, I just wanted to say that I'd like to buy a titanium and wood model, but at this point I don't think IGG deserves a cut of the profit after all the trouble they've given everyone. I know you're trying to get a lump-sum together so you can start production in earnest, but I'd prefer to order through your site with a month or two lead time, rather than deal with IGG after all this fuss.

Another Challenge thrown my way. Indiegogo froze my account. They have not given me any reason yet. I am rather upset, but also very determined to find a way to get my project off the ground. I hope some of my supporters might send them an email, but regardless, I will have something up somewhere for everyone to order their Special Cases soon.

Big thanks,

George

Will do! There is no way I could do this without all the awesome people on this forum. The last time I checked the stats, more than 60% of the campaign backers came from here. That is just awesome.
I apologize for the irritation, and am doing my best to resolve the situation and get these things made and into the hands of the VapCap Crowd.

Thanks,

George

On a positive note after around 20 loads i am growing very familiar with my new friend. I am starting to prefer allowing the carb hole to stay open. Little restriction on pull but vapor production is still thick.

I think i see people wanting to connect this guy to water too. I wouldn't be suprised to see @VapCap eventually offer some sort of easy water tool attachment.

Edit. Extraction is pretty complete, even with ungrounded material. The bowl is very small, and although i have never seen ash, most my loads end up very dark basically black after 3 heat cicles. I usually do not use this high of temps with my home units, but i think the vast majority of people will love the fully extracted material.

For those who have used the Hammer there is some similarities. The VC bowl is even smaller i believe and both provide some heavy hits, but the Hammer takes a lot more time to get to the heavy vapor production, holds more, and takes a stir or two. No need to stir the VC

From the top: Ed's TnT Wong 18.8mm with Ti VapCap tip.
Next two different Wood and Ti VapCap prototypes.

Thanks again everyone for your support as I work through this setback.

I feel like one of those wongs would be the easiest way I've seen yet to convert someone away from combustion. A few of my buddies just don't like the idea of plastic or electronics being involved. Nearly same ritual too, plugging into a bong and lighting... Just so much better.

Make sure to keep us posted when you figure out your new pre orders. I'll definitely be picking up a couple for me and buddies

The pic he posted was also posted on page 2 :p

@VapCap judging by the joint size, the space between the top of the joint and the bottom of the metal are pretty close... I always take my vapes off the glass when clearing hits (also prevents any blowback), as I'm sure most others do as well. Anyways I don't have big hands but I could see this being a problem for others. I really do like the low-profile size of it but can't help but wonder how much everything heats up and how fast it cools down.

Those Ed VapCaps are sexy.

Edit. The case is nice for cleaning, soaking my unit now. I might consider getting a few extra cases from George even. Good thin case to pack with material to pour into a vape, it could act as a dugout for the VC or it would be a great way to waterproof a single hand rolles cigarette on a river trip!

Greetings everyone.

I did launch a new campaign on go fund me. I set the goal low, because I didn't have high hopes for how well it would work, but it appears they do allow the campaign owners access to the funds raised right away. This will help get this project going even faster.
I really appreciate how supportive everyone here has been.
I will also be getting the shopping cart up on my website www.dynavap.com for pre orders if anyone prefers to buy there. I am anticipating a day or two to get this up. The shopping cart will not get shut down arbitrarily and it saves me the 5% crowdfunding fee. I have been given a green light by the go fund me team, but still haven't heard back from Indiegogo as to why they shut me down. So again, thank you for hangin in there. I will post more info as I learn it.

I backed both IGGs but I'm going to wait until you have preorder on your website working, then bypass these middlemen and you can get going faster. I originally just did the dry herb early for $10+$5shipping but I may preorder the Ti if that's an option with the Ed stem, now that @IAmKrazy2 has put forth some usage reports I feel better about upgrading. Can we trust you @IAmKrazy2  ?
