This is exactly why I haven't ordered yet. I'm not any better at waiting than you guys are. I probably would be more depressed than you guys sound. I sure hope you hear something soon.:2c::peace:

I had the same feelings @CarolKing, then when I realized the SS version was only $135 for a preorder, I couldn't resist. It's been a fun ride since preordering. Exciting to see all the latest updates (and it gives me another thread to watch closely)

Okay, so I just got an email from PayPal with a tracking number...Now before you all get your pitchforks and torches, it is just showing up as having been created, and not having shipped yet. But I think it's safe to say that it will be shipping soon.

Something something let him who is without sin cast the first stone?

When you pay for something using Paypal there's a button on the recipient's side to "print a shipping label" - it's one of the easiest ways to process a shipment (two clicks and a few keyboard strokes and I can spit a shipping label out of my Zebra thermal printer in about 20 seconds).

Typically I only print a shipping label once I have the package ready to ship (because I know the customer get's a notification of the tracking #). Theoretically if you got that email from paypal, you should see the tracking number start moving within 12-36 hours

Yea, I waited to order, and had similar thoughts to you. But then thought, I am checking anyway, so it won't be any different...boy was I wrong...now I am checking these threads all the time!!

Yeah maybe they will send all these updates and then start shipment.....idk, odd but maybe.
Yeah - it makes some sense to confirm shipping addresses since this whole process has taken so long - a good number may have moved to a new rental or something.

Okay, thanks for the information! Hopefully they take the same approach.

As an additional note to other backers who are awaiting shipping address confirmation, check your spam. I use the latest gmail layout which organize mail by tabs (inbox, promos, social, etc). When I receive a campaign update it usually shows up under purchases, but the email I received about my shipping address showed up under promotions, a tab that i almost always ignore. So keep an eye out in places like that if you aren't already.

Im not really sure where all this (or why) stuff about "well maybe they're sending to people who will review and share their experience" comes from... This thing has been in the works for how long? And there is how many backers? Get them out in the order they are supposed to and there will be just as many people who share their experience with the GH. These are PRODUCTION gh... no need to market them by sending out to selected individuals first, this is go time, where you send them like you are supposed to and more videos/pics/reviews will pop up just as fast
Hee hee, resignation, it comes from resignation, cause they're not gonna tell us clearly what happens next, and the easiest explanation for what's happening right now is just "they're not ready."

From what I am seeing from updates to shipping to changing dates team GH is creating demand. A very important factor in running a business with a product. Im willing to bet some is strategic while some is left to finalizing a great product. I understand the integrity piece which many will chime in about as a negative when running a business but at the end of the day the buzz they have generated around this product if it delivers as stated will generate solid revenue. Just my humble opinion.

I like to be positive and think that getting my grasshopper later than others (est. shipping in August) will mean a better constructed unit since all employees oversighting will be better trained by the time my unit is built :D

Absolutely right - with the problems I experienced with my first unit (and at least 1 other person) the first batch is always the most likely to have assembly issues.

If anyone was curious - they ran tests and took apart my faulty unit. Apparently it was a poorly installed temperature sensor (loose or something). New hopper still going strong though.

I got 99 problems, can this be one?

But yeah lifetime warranty would make me ok with shipping it back if any issues honestly, just want it now....lol.

On the grasshopper website it used to say expected shipping date July 2015, now it says September 2015, did the July ones get shipped out?

That is something that belongs in the shipping thread. July ones did not get sent out, literally no Hoppers have been dispersed.

I currently have July as my expected and am a Ti backer from the first week.

What can we speculate their tests are/how long each hopper is tested for?

This i have no idea on, so i would assume they turn them on and see if they heat up and cycle off at 18 sec and maybe turn it back on than off?

What else could they possibly do to test them?

For those of you not getting you GHs until Sept. and you want to fuckcombustion and have been patiently waiting. The Imag is on sale through Randy at Puffitup for $55. It would be a perfect holdover until you get your hoppers.

I hope that post is OK Mods.

No way to tell. The equation is (number of GHs a person can build an hour)x(number of people building them)x(number of hours in a shift worked)x(number of shifts per day) = number of GHs assembled per day

Since we don't know the value of ANYof those variables, all we can do is guess.

just throwing this out there, for what its worth.

i preordered, purchased in mid may. original ship date of july, was pushed back to august this week.

ive been in contact with trevor a lot over the past few weeks, messing with my order. upgrading to Titanium, adding and removing accessories.

i sent him an email about two days ago addressing some invoice stuff. i also nonchalantly (lol) mentioned how my order got pushed back to august, and asked if that was them being conservative, or pretty realistic. trevor said they were being conservative with the new estimates, and that hopefully it will ship out sooner, due to production ramping up and orders currently shipping out.

for what its worth...
