It is always a good idea to discuss your design preferences with your vape craftsman. Shape, size, wood feature orientation & emphasis, etc. If unsure, let the vape artist be your guide with confidence ...they most certainly have an uncannily artistic eye for such things, proven time and time again! Go for it! Enjoy!

Just wanted to share some pictures I took this morning of my 9 month old Afzelia Burl Nano to finally get some good 'after' shots of the wood. These pictures were early morning so the sun is hitting it from the side, but you can see the color has changed dramatically since the original pictures I took last July....

9 Months later:

No photo manipulation whatsoever (raw pictures from my camera actually). The Nano has developed a gorgeous brownish red hue. I love this vape and the burl wood. Thank you again @Snappo & @ACE OF VAPE for your hard work!

I lust for more exotic woods, but I'm waiting for the right time. This Nano keeps me plenty satisfied for now!

@HD Springer that's half the fun Droool over @Snappo wood for a couple day's, hours if u want first pick on fresh load of mother nature. Lol
Then wait and see what the magician's do with Lath and skills. Depends on what vape you have in mind, some are more custom than others. But all can be modified to you're liking..
This is my first HI can't wait!!!

I really like the candle idea.

I have no idea if this would look good but based off your candle idea, what if you hollowed out the center with like a 1-2 inch diameter and drilled some holes through it or have a design(s) laser cut through it and then put one of those led candles in there and see the light glow through this beauty :shrug:

Whatever you do that's some damn nice wood ya got there :tup:
