Me too. The other day I didn't know what to do next......
OF
OK "OF" I'm messing with you with a miss quote!

All in fun!
What you wrote I can relate.
Tonight running out of time I quickly grabbed one of my SOLO'S.
Took a 18mm GonG and stuffed it with ALIEN KUSH then proceeded to attach the GonG to my BLACK LEAF BUBBLER.
Not looking at the SOLO and strictly going on instinct I clicked the arrows upward! The VAPOR was thick like a MILK SHAKE! I coughed as my chest contracted! HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! I'm beyond medication! I was on level 5! Normally my level for water is 4!
Surprisingly I stumbled into a place or zone of complete NIRVANA!

Sometimes mistakes take us to other places!

Anyone have any experience bringing the solo on a plane? Any problems? Should be good to go as long as its clean, right? Should I check my luggage or bring my bag through security? Maybe it's not worth the risk?

CHECK YOUR BAG!
I personally would not transport any type of cannabis device to a non friendly zone.
Stay within the LAW!

can somebody tell me if inline percolator bongs make good vape-bongs. i.e does the percolator increase draw resistance, especially for solo.

They make EXCELLENT bongs, or bubblers, for vaporizing out of! A good Inline perc, is extremely low-drag / high air-flow, & diffuses well. :2c:
I would even go so far as to say "especially for the solo, you can't go wrong with an Inline" (IME/IMO). However, take into consideration that I am referring to High Quality pieces (American Blown Boro & equivalent), as that is where majority of my glass experience lies. :spidey:

Hey solo fans, I'm looking for coarse pipe screens, like the screen that comes with the PVHES Stems, all I can find are fine screens. I live in the USA and would rather NOT pay $7 + for shipping from Planet Vape. Does anyone in the USA sell them by any chance?
Thank you!

Different leagues in my opinion. If the Solo were the same size and shape as the PNP I would never use the Pinnacle.

PNP = fast sessions (except initial heat-up), hot vapor, crappy taste after a few hits, very portable, does the job when mobility is required.

Solo = slow sessions, cool vapor, awesome taste almost all the way to the end, not very portable (compared to the PNP), great for relaxing sessions where mobility is not a priority.

Once the PNP heats up you can draw on it pretty fast and still get lots of vapor. It gets pretty hot, and the taste degrades quickly.

Once the Solo heats up I need to take looong slooow hits to get good vapor production.

I'm sorry, so when you say fast sessions, you mean you can draw quickly on it? Or that the sessions are over quicker? And if the second, does that mean the PNP hits a bit harder than the Solo?

FYI, straight Shorty PVHES stems are in stock at Planet Vape. I just ordered a couple along with those really cool smell proof storage tubes.. I've been waiting for the straight shorty stems for a while now.

What about those Chillum PVHES stems? Anybody know if PV is going to mass manufacture and stock those or do you have to special order through them? Those are so fucking cool! I really want to buy a couple of those....

I just use the SOLO.
If you don't care about flavor it doesn't matter.
For a portable the SOLO will give you the flavor!

Many may or not agree however I have a SOLO so I'm not forking out cash for any other portable at the moment!

Do what makes you happy!

I busted out my Solo, while reading your flavour-country posts about it this morning and put some 0.1 of a nicely cured sun fed auto Sativa hybrid with very pleasant taste in my GonG stem while preheating my M1A3XXX old friend... I had a wispy first hit despite leaving the stem in for a half a minute to warm up, then a more satisfying second one and an underwhelming third. Then I went to 6 and got a stale flavoured wispy fourth. Then I bumped it to 7 and got nearly nothing... I took out the stem and the load was relatively blond. What? Then I busted the Lotus from it's pouch and loaded the spent load in its pipe. I got some toast taste and some little vapour so I knew the Solo had done an ok-ish extraction despite the blond ABV.
I wasn't there yet so I loaded .05 in the Lotus and took a couple of veeery satisfying hits that made my eyes wet and realised once again why the Solo doesn't get much use these days... The taste was so much better in the Lotus and the vapour was thicker and more! The load is still green in there and I am feeling out of space. And I have taken the same buds to evenly roasted deep brown ABV numerous times these last weeks so I know where it's heading next.
And then I thought I should post my thoughts here so I can finally convince you to finally get your Lotus and stop talking bout your Solos so much! :p Seriously! :D

This is why arizer needs to bring back the first models. I have a m102 that destroys any other solo it has met. On level 4 you can achieve coffe colored ABV. If I run on 7 it's almost black, not quite tho. I feel they dropped the temp way too much and added too much airflow. They way the old ones ran are 100 times better IMO. My buddy has a brand new one and he has to run on 7 to get what mine does on 4.

For one It seems as if you may have a lemon of a SOLO!
A piece of garbage!
Really bad press your testimony for ARIZER!
If ARIZER had the proper customer service they would send you a new unit free of charge!

If LOTUS thinks they have the "HOLY GRAIL" of VAPORIZERS they would have sent me one to evaluate? Or someone more qualified like "OF"! I will try it however I have this impression it's for people living off the grid were available electricity is not present? (Good for camping?) I have a medical area at my house dedicated to cannabis. So I vaporize in comfort!

I have a NANO if I want the Flavor Country Wet!
VAPOLUTION 2 DRY!
LSV major medication "POWERFUL"!
SOLO for a PORTABLE it's fast and the flavor is better than other portables I have tried!
I have BUBBLERS, SHERLOCKS, ASH CATCHERS, PHVES, STOCK, GonGs even CHILLUMS for Mouth Pieces.
My SOLO's taste amazing and are fast.
Level 3 DRY
Level 4 WET
The another night I was at level 5 by not paying attention and nearly coughed out a lung.
Wispy? You must have a defective unit? What is the moisure content of your flowers?

The LOTUS that your are so in LOVE with I will get one however get ready for an assessment from a Legal Medical Marijuana Patient.

Are you still living in a non friendly cannabis society?

Sounds like they listened to the wrong people?

My oldest M107 is still like brand new with over 2 1/2 years of use?
Same battery pack as well!

No lemon Solo here! It works as supposed to work. Can do dark ABV with appropriate buds. Not this one though...
The Lotus can handle anything the same as I control the heat depending on the load. It's not just for camping. It's just better than the Solo in vapor production by design! Much more heat in hand. It should be compared with e-nano more likely but I don't have one. I have a somewhat weaker version let's say, a Hot Pod, and the Lotus is even better than this as well!
My Solo gives wispy hits compared to the Lotus, it's not weak as a Solo, it's as hot as my old m107.... To get equally strong hits though and equal taste to the Lotus I have to use my Solo to fill a Vapor Lung at 7. I do live in a non MMJ friendly country but what's that got to do with the vapes?

Sounds like that solo is having battery issues yeah? I get coffee dark ABV unless over-packed or the battery is draining

Actually no need to, I have one, I bought it. Nice enough vape, IMO, but you don't see me posting there a lot or raving about it. FWIW in that class (lighter heated) I like Vapman and my VGs better and recommend them first. I don't think they're only for the off grid types (any more than Iolite is) but understand how that drives some guys choices.

It's just that I tend to agree with you on Solo. It's a great performer for most guys, easy to use and trouble free. NF, it seems, just doesn't share that opinion? All we can do is put the facts and opinions out (being careful to identify which is which.....) and let the customer decide?

Nope... Already answered. It is this particular strain that doesn't get coffee brown. I was making a point and a comparison. My Solo is in pristine condition and battery lasts long and heats up fine... Jiz...

Which Lotus version do you own OF? Do you think the Solo performs better? And in what?
