yep, Were in agreement on that. Just got a note from TET herself ;

"The batteries we use get up to 4.2V when they are fully charged. Going any higher than that could be bad. 4.2 is the maximum you should operate it at, which is normal for a fully charged 3.7V 18650 until the charge diminishes.."

The advantage of using the eneloops is 1) very long charge retention 2) double the capacity and so, time; nearly 6 or more amp hours, depending on which eneloops you choose 3) cheaper initial cost , about $2.00 each x 12, or 9...
'course it would be nice to have an 8 or more bay charger, and then you have faster charge times too (4). :)

Late word from TET . This just in :

( on operation at 4.3 to 4.4 volts, .2 volts over recommended voltage) " It would fatigue the wire at the least. Unless you run it at 5.7 volts+ it won't "blow", but will definitely wear it out faster. It would also heat up very quick and easily combust/burn the material if you aren't careful."

takes sooo long to be repaired. was received monday and i thought i would get it by the end of this week. guess i wont get it till next .....

I just got the 30amp Sony's the other week. They work great. Slightly faster heat up time with both the LL and EO with a little less battery life (on the LL, at least). Noticed a bigger difference with the LL than the EO, though. The LL cart glows noticeably more vibrant than with the Panny CH's and I got the densest, thickest hits I've ever taken from the Cera using these Sony's. Cashed a bowl in about 4 rips with the first 2 clouds comparable to many plug-in vapes. I also combusted when using them once, but I'm pretty sure it was because I used some very finely ground nug that was left over in my grinder that probably fell through the holes onto the coil. I'm comparing them to my well used Panny CH's, so take that into consideration.

This is a charger that has been well received by the E-Cig community. Pretty reasonable for a digital read out, 4 bay smart charger. It comes with a car adapter and you can even charge your phone with it lol.

So I finally broke down and sent her in for strap failure.
The connection point on my Ti welded strap failed 6 months ago, but I could just push the bottom cap down and she would still work.
I love my cera, time apart from her is tough.
Zeki is a great guy to deal with!

My Ti Cera arrived yesterday, I should've made this investment a long time ago, I just couldn't justify the purchase, as I had just purchased some other vapes. I have a SS EO cart and a Ti EO cart, both are giving true flavor profiles(and clouds!). This thing is absolutely top of the line! Thermovape Rocks!

Sorry you're having troubles, but I think it'd be much faster and effective to contact them in the normal way (call or email Zeki). I don't think they visit very often. A PM would probably not work well either, for that reason.

Nobody here can be of much help, most of us are also strung out watching for the UPS guy (not staking, honest......) or are in recovery. A true 'chicken/egg thing', if you had the vape waiting for it wouldn't be half the problem.....

Good luck getting it sorted out.

Things must be going a little slow over there for the holiday season or something. This time was at least 3 times as long a wait as the last time I got it repaired. Waiting really sucks. I wonder if maybe this is part of the new business model: make us wait so long for repairs that we buy a back up Cera ;)

i just hope they at least send it out today. hope i get it before wednesday, can use my cera while studying for school stuff. i always seem to lose focus when i dont have my cera in hand.

Hi all.

I bought my Cera in April and it's been working great. Somehow, one of the four screws on the heating core is missing, so the core itself is loose so it needs to be in a particular position to heat correctly. From what I can tell it is an extremely tiny hexa-screw. What do you guys recommend I do? Should I send it in since it is still under warranty? Should I look around to buy a really tiny screw?

Send it in, the threading for the core is incredibly finicky and not forgiving if you overtighten it even just a bit too much.

It'll vape like water, man. I get CO2 oil as well and it vapes SO clean through my DART, I can just imagine the Cera loving that stuff! Mostly the kind of concentrates you want to avoid with Cera are the ones that leave residuals when vaped, ie concentrates that are not truly full-melts like regular hash and the "lower-quality" oils.

Man, my cera took down anything I could throw at it like a champ, dirty oils, shatters, nug run shatter, budders, waxes, crumbles, amber glass, c02, only thing I have not tried in it is pure gold. The original TET videos that are no longer available, noah shows how many hits he can get off a halfgram of pure gold with stellar results, so I dont see why co2 shouldnt work perfectly.
Quality of vape is amazing, might even be more flavorful (when clean) than a titanium nail, and can hit just as fat.
Maintenance of the cart is simple , you can iso soak, you can boil ,you can bake it. If you use super clean high end material , less cleaning is needed. I threw some BHO that had some plant matter in it vs the clean shatters I get, and it took months and months of abuse with no cleaning to get affected. I now clean her after a week or 2 of use.

First off, welcome to the forum and Cera! Tasty choice, hit one out of the park first time at bat?

I've used a lot of CO2 oil in mine, including some from several dispensaries 'in the city'. I seek the stuff out in fact. While CO2 oils are generally not as potent as BHOs and some of the other stuff in the display case, they seem to vape off amazingly clean. Omicron carts love it for that reason. The 'dome type' pen vapes (the ones like Dabbler, KISS and many of the modified e-cigs) seem to thrive on it. A 'nail head' friend points out how much cleaner his gear stays using CO2 oils.

Go for it, I think you'll be pleased.

I only use CO2 oil. I very rarely clean my eo cart(maybe once a month?), and use as my daily driver. I feel it's the best oil device I've tried (notice I didn't limit that to portable oil device). Best taste & vapor production. Easy to load. Very easy to clean . You can ISO soak, boil, use a torch on the TI eo carts (though it's not recommended, and I didn't notice much benefit over ISO soak). It does require patience of waiting for the cart to fully dry(over-night or so) after cleaning. Great argument for picking up an extra cart (currently waiting for a backup).

Oh yeah, and it's not made of questionable quality components that will eventually become landfill. I know this doesn't matter to most, but I personally like the fact that the cart can be repaired. Drives me crazy having to stock up on oil carts with extremely short life-span. I'd rather buy a spare unit & stock up on extra meds vs buying a new cart every week or so.

Cera arrived Thursday, I can't put her down... just keeps going....and going. Again, I'll say I wish I had made this decision a long time ago. I can finally stay properly medicated without a huge hassle tinkering with my vape. If you're serious about your extracts, Cera is where they should be vaped!
