Aaron speaks the truth....there is a shipment in route and we need a day to thoroughly QC the units here. Next step is to send out the RMA units and we will resume preregistration sales thereafter. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for RMA units to go out on Friday....I think it's feasible.
I'm curious what's going to happen for us that ordered through GotVape.com with these new units. I've already contacted them about my DOA unit, and have been told I would be receiving a return shipping label. This was last week, and after contacting them multiple times over the label, I've heard nothing back. I'm worried I'll be stuck with a never-functioning unit...
You might have to eat the return shipping, but as long as you have your receipt you should be golden to return it to DV. That is my plan. I just decided to disintermediate Gotvape altogether. I got tired of dealing with them. DV was MUCH easier. The cost of postage is worth it to not deal with GotVape again.
I would also recommend going directly through us. You will get your vape much, much faster.

We are getting in shipments every few days and will be releasing to distribution once our stock is appropriately built up. Yes- I realize that is a vague statement and I will pre apologize for that. I want nothing more than to have a warehouse full of perfect Ascents to ship out. Aiming for mid-late October here...but it really depends on how production holds up.

I could be wrong, but i believe the inital shipment numbers were low, like in the hundreds so an RMA of 80s seems reasonable.... I could be wrong though
Well, Aaron contacted me and requested all the necessary information. Couple things I noticed. He asked for the serial number, which should start with either 0A1 or 0E1, but my number starts with 1AA1. Is this normal, or did gotvape.com sell me a knock-off (already?!?). Just waiting a reply for my RMA information.
Must admit, after all the problems with gotvape.com, and in all honesty, davinci with the poor QC'd products (including the original davinci vaporizer, I have gone through 3, all of which did not work @ 100%, both of the last 2 would never register if it was fully charged or not, just kept showing it would charge after a long time on the charger, and both of them were RMA's directly from davinci) I wonder if I should even continue down this road.

Don't know if it is normal, but mine (Also from GotVape) also had a 1AA1 serial. DV did not balk when I contacted them for my RMA.
All the Ascent unit have a 1AA1 serial number. The OG Davinci units are 0A, 0E, 1A, 1E, OU and 1U.

This seems like the right time to send mine back for exchange. I had established an RMA awhile back, but held onto it because it worked great. Still does....well did.

i think we have to wait for them to be delivered to customers first. i sent on original unit in very shortly after getting it (think my RMA number was 6) and i am still waiting for a new replacement unit. so i don't think DV has started shipping replacement units yet.
DV said, a few pages back, that they expect to ship out the RMAs shortly (maybe Friday). I also got an email from them yesterday saying that they anticipate shipping RMA/s very soon, so ship them back now. As soon as they have done the RMAs, they will resume preorders.
