VXL doesn't need hundreds of opinions from who knows whom. That's not a controlled beta, that's a mess. The EVO beta test is specifically for fine tuning variables, not for making or altering fundamental functional design decisions. A manageable number of known users should do the job just fine.

I was under the impression that they have been beta testing already? I even seen videos where supposedly the new heater design was being tested in the old units? Did that not happen? What have they been doing for the past 4 months? Did we not see the design and everything right away? How were they not testing it? How did the Fanatic's not receive this already? I'm just pissed I have been without my cloud since June and this is getting ridiculous. It's all good and dandy that the cloud will be perfect when they finally get around to sending it to us, but you would think the first cloud worked out all the bugs for them. I can't believe that everyone is just ok with this?

You're not wrong, and I have UTFSE many times :) it's how I learned about vaping!

But specifically to my question, I still see ambiguous info. The 'circ' action etc... I've seen the vines, and some pics of tubes in development... but I still am not sure exactly what the categorization/design is ... I guess that's on me /shrug

I'm new to water tools so I know just the basics, bong, bubbler, tree, shower, honeycomb, stemless, splash-guard. recycler. "Hydra tubes" and "swagger circs" are VXL branding names yes? Or is it actually different tech? That was sort of the question.

User Acceptance Testing is probably a more accurate description of what this final process is.

Please read my description a little more carefully. We've been conducting tests this whole time and are testing out some various firmware features before mass production.

As a fanatic contributor that has never owned or used a cloud I am very happy with the news.

An extra round of "user acceptance testing" not only helps the product for mass production, it includes a gift of a beta unit which I was not getting if VXL felt it was 100% ready and risked not going through more testing for everyone's benefit.

I accepted the fact that October deadline might not be reached and the EVo is almost there and without major tweeking it will be ready with just a fair amount of a delay for the contributors and then for the release to others. Hopeful thinking

I am curious about what kind of tubes will be sent with the fanatic beta testing units. 3 options in my mind:

-A hydratube of any kind
-The double chamber tube from the perc
-A glass mouthpiece

I guess we must be reading a different thread. :D

I don't see anyone bragging or flaming or saying ha-ha. I see folks excited about the prospect of knowing now when they will be doing the beta testing; after all, that is one of the primary perqs which they contributed for. I see others excited at what this indicates, i.e., that early release is probably not far behind. And others interested in what the beta testing will reveal. And later, there will be lots of comparisons between the Early Birds and Fanatics different HT's.

All of this is just part of the fun. We're all friends here, ya know. :wave:

UAT, Beta, Alpha, Extended Beta, User Review, QA Testing, etc... it's all just terminology that gets tossed around and remixed based on methodology.

Most of us are happy to see extended testing, what it is labeled shouldn't bother people or matter.

i didnt think of it that way i didnt mean offense, i guess i imagined a mass roll out, with a select inner circle( vxh team members friends and family) doing the "beta" part of this project and getting any wrinkles out since the indiegogo days. guess this proves me wrong though.lol. hopefully the fanatics will like what they get so there is not alot of up and back and we can have our units bug free soon. peace

Hah.. In all seriousness you're right that would be great to test. Idk if that's what they are wanting tested though. Sounds more like the programmed firmware fine tunings.

I'll cop to this. And I apologize if anyone felt I was flaming them. Not my intention, at all. My post has since been edited by a moderator down to it's essence, "We Are All Fanatics". And as OldieButGoodie pointed out, it was meant to be a celebration of what the Fanatic testing means for all of us, not just those receiving units for testing.

Happy to see your subsequent post, @DoubleAA80. Hopefully, no hard feelings remain out there for anyone.

I thought about this long and hard but as someone with a working cloud and an early bird I am willing to wait a bit to get my EVO if VapeXhale wants to prioritize sending the first runs to those with broken clouds and those with no clouds. I am only speaking for myself though. I can wait a few extra weeks if it means others can join the cloud experience sooner.

No hard feelings at all was mearly fun ribbing . were a!ll a community here. fc is like a s@econd home. just beta test nice and quick for us.lol. im in the camp of a broken cloud so i guess im bias.lol. in my case though( not looking for sympathy) the cloud controlled my ms symptoms, something no other vaoe could with such ease. now as my symptoms creap back my ass will be sitting on the porch shaking, waiting for that evo.lol i celebrate your fanatacism.lol. all good bro i hadnt medicated yet.lol
