Unapproved commercial account.
I was looking through the new issue of Maxim and saw that one segments showed a vaporizer! I got a kick out of that. Also, I haven't seen this model before, is it new? I don't see it on the Vapir website.

I don't get it... the Twister, it's a different brand, but is that different or the same thing?

Space is the Place
The twister is made by vaporite not Vapir the top looks like an NO2 , the bottom like a solo with no digital display . I don't know how good it is .
you can check it out on the Vaporite web site vaporitevapes.com. / $ 113.95 on ebay

not the same as the NO2 .

This is a rip off of the iVapor Portable vaporizer. (a copy)
iVapor
I have used the ivapor and it is not bad.. little learning curve, and easy to clean,.....
But it is not an NO2 and does not meet that quality standard..
nor is the temperature setting as versatile on the ivapor OR the Twister
The NO2 wins in every department

If you search the thread I think Vitolo has a video that shows you how to vacuum the NO2 out .
With pure kief those holes could still be clogged up .
do a search of this thread on "cleaning" or "Vacuum" and you'll find more tips .
The answers are already here somewhere ,The NO2 has been around a while .

I tried some different ways to clean it. I carefully stuck a pin through the holes in the bottom and vacuumed the chamber and the sides. After I did this the clog went away but unfortunately, towards the end of the first session the clog returned.

At this point I vacuumed it twice and same thing happened the second time. I got one session before it clogged again. Not sure what I want to do at this point. I can't get the device open. I guess I can keep trying the vacuum and hope that clog stops.

I am at a loss for words.
Is there a bottom screen in there?
if no ... why not...
if yes.. do you remove it to poke around in those holes?

When I've done a deep clean of the NO2, I've removed the bottom screen, and used a q-tip with Iso to slowly rub the resin off the bottom and sides of the oven. Just keep at it, patiently, until it is shining again. Soak the screen in Iso, too. I don't actually poke the holes, as mine hasn't clogged since I started doing a shiny clean on it.

After everything is dry, put the bottom screen over the end of the mouthpiece tubing, and slide it slowly back into place, to keep it straight and level.

That should do it.

Forgive me but I can't find any information similar to a how to/tips and tricks. I follow the directions but am looking for data pertaining to good temps to use as well as any other techniques specific to the vapir n02. Just got it today, vaped 2 bowls of chem dawg and was very toasty for quite some time.

How much vapor is lost if I just leave the NO2 sit for a few minutes with the oven on during a session? When inspected closely I can see some vapor coming out of the nipple. If I cover the nipple with my finger will it prevent any vapor loss or will the vapor just vent out somewhere else?

Check out this page on the Vaporpedia: http://vaporpedia.com/wiki/Vaporizing_Effects_by_Temperature

It seems everyone ends up finding their sweet temp -- for me its 369.

I ordered vapor no2 from vapor nation and love it!! It heats up fast and you get huge clouds! This is the second portable vaporizer I got from vapor nation and their customer service is great! Not to mention you get free gifts and points. The first I got was the pulsar 7 and is great for stealth. The vapor no2 is a bit big to smoke while walking around, but hits like a champ and is awesome for sittin inside.

My pen vape for oils took the place of the NO2 in my portability department; but seeing as I'm not going to be able to make concentrates as often now I need a portable for herbs. I actually listed my NO2 for sale over a month ago and after having a couple sales fall through I decided to break it out and WOW this thing still does it. The only thing I've vaped herbs with for the past couple months is my E Nano. I've found that I pack about 1.5 to 2 times as much bud in the NO2 as I do my E-Nano, but that's one of the things logs are praised for. Anyways, I locked my For Sale thread and I'm keeping the NO2 because its just too functional to get rid of.

I agree.
My NO2 still serves after 2.5 years.
I love mine.
The one I am selling in Classifieds is brand new in the box.. still in the box, and I am confident enough in my old trusty one, to pass along the Brand New NO2 unit!

My No2 came from an auction seller at $87.00. They claimed it was the 2013 model.

No smell even right out of the box, but I did most of the steps found in this thread anyway. Soaked the tube, ISOed the air path, ISOed the screens. Let it all dry, fired it up to 389 just to see if it would work.

It did.

Funny story already. I was sitting outside reading the manual and my hot neighbor lady walked up. She saw the photo of NO2 and said , "that's an interesting looking device, what is it?

At first I wanted to tell her what it was and what is was for because I know she is single, but only dared a bit and said "it's a vaporizer". She asked what it was for and I folded and said it's a Medical device.

Maybe she'll Google it. :)

Sounds like you would like to talk to her further.
Get an NO2 Flyer, or card that they send out... and next time you see her, casually hand her one, and say "you had once asked about that device...."
It says nothing about MMJ... only "herbs" and tobacco are implied...
but she will get the idea.
Ball will be in her court.
Have no flyer??
PM me, and I will send you one, postage on me~

Thank you for your kind offer and certainly your contribution to this thread.

I told my son (who is 31) I bought something to try to get off all the Advil, Aleve, and Aspirin I eat all day and he immediately asked if it was a vaporizer. When I said yes, he came to my room took a pic of my no2 box and sent out a text to one of his friends. I never thought of the Vapir as a conversation piece.

So I initially bought my NO2 long long ago..... far in the early trenches of this thread.

When I bought it I was getting it new in a sealed box for $105, so I assumed it was one that made its way off the belt after normal production was over.

However it's been running reliably up until about a week ago. My friend who I gave it to can't get it to turn on at all. I've already told him to try different chargers with EXACTLY the same specs, different outlets, all sorts of variables and it may well be dead.

Since there isn't really any harm in busting it open at this point has anyone had to repair a NO2 in such amannor before? If not , maybe I'll hae to make the first step.

Thank you for your kind offer and certainly your contribution to this thread.

Nothing to worry about, except now your son and his friends think you're cool, and they're definitely want to have some vape sessions with you.

NO2 is truly a great vape and I definitely see myself getting another one in the future. It's such a good party vape. Perfect road trip vape. I could keep going on and on.

Maybe when I bust his (my old one, lol) open to see if anything's awry in plain sight I wanna see about rigging it up with a glass chamber!

Need a car charger. Is there anything I can pick up at walmart, Target, Radio shack etc?

Seems like read here about a GPS charger. Anyone have a link or model number?

@DogDad you need a 12V 1A 1000mA car charger. If you do a search of this thread with "car charger" you may find more help. Good luck to Ya.

Thanks. I could probably find that at best buy or Radio shack locally. I'm leaving town tomorrow for a long road trip and the NO2 is going for ride.
