Arizer Solo

I did a search and found the case.

Edit: It was ebay, not Amazon. 2 years ago, and I use MMJ. /excuses.
:peace:

Stu, do you think it would be possible to fit both a Solo and a Pinnacle WT in that case together? If it would require me to leave the charger out that would be fine. To help you answer, I've found a picture to give you a basic idea of the WT size compared to the Solo.

Regretfully, I decided to return my new Ascent, since I started noticing off-gassing I couldn't get rid of :(

O i was just emailing PV about the stubby GonG yesterday - and they were saying "With a stubby it will be hard to put your finger on it, when you pull up on the f-Bomb to clear, depending on how tight the glass joints stuck together, you could potentially pull the adapter out of the Solo and it could then fall and break."

what's your take on it?

I use the O-Ring Mod to keep my stems secure. Sometimes the joints can stick a tiny bit, but I had the same thing happen with my non-Stubby stem.

I haven't found it to be an issue worth putting effort into, I find the combination works superbly.

I think it would fit, but the charger would probably not. :2c:

You used to sell suits at one time in your life, didn't you?

So very true. And it an arena where 'one size fits all' doesn't work and we're living in an 'off the shelf, turnkey kinda world' for a customer standpoint. Which is part of the fun, of course.

There's a counter to that as well, "Be careful what the suits try to sell you"?

It sure is easier to get rid of money than get it. And if it's some other fellows money to start with........

Wow thanks to the ascent we are getting some of our great members over here to get a solo....welcome to the best vape ever.

I've used the Solo (a buddy of mine has one), and it is a great vape, the main reason I originally decided on an Ascent was the small, form fitting size. I'm gonna be super psyched when my Solo arrives, but kinda disappointed I won't have a vape I can fit in my pocket and go. IMO it's the one thing keeping it from being the ULTIMATE portable. Arizer is a great company, and I love my extreme-q as well. I'm assuming whenever Arizer finally comes out with a new model of portable, it's gonna kick serious ass!

I hope they keep it the same and just make it a different form factor. The ascent is still huge and not pocketable IMO for now. I will be getting one to try today if the mail comes. I will have it for two weeks. One of our members is sending it to me for my opinion.

It's actually pretty small...smaller than some modern smart phones. I work in a supermarket, and I tested the Ascent out when I got it, by putting it in my shorts pocket and keeping it there all day as I walked around and did my job. It was small enough to be comfortable and unobtrusive all day. The best part about it is that the stem fits into the body of the unit. The Solo...not so much.

My solo fits in my pocket

I worked in Saudi Arabia for a while many years ago. The hospital we were installing gear in had been built by one of life's more delightful lunatics.......an Italian Foreman named 'Earnie'. Crazy SOB, fun to have around if he didn't fool you with warnings about avoiding the snipers on the ridge until the security guys had cleared it and stuff.

One of his favorite jokes for the new guys complaining that all you can do there is make money is he'd say "yeah, when I told my wife I was coming here she told me not to even think about coming back until my pockets were stuffed for money. I finally had enough and sent her a message saying I was coming home. She sent me pants with bigger pockets.....".

I miss him, we need more folks like that in this here world.

Shit that is all I wear pappy but I still never have enough room for all the crap I have to carry. I can only use the cargo pockets as I can't get into the other ones while out in my wheelchair it is to much of a pita.
I also wear cargo pants a fair bit, especially cargo shorts in the summer. I have found they are actually quite useful for carrying a solo. One pair I have has a great pocket that fits a stem with a travel tube perfectly.

I believe every pair of shorts I own have cargo pockets on them. The other day I went to a friend's house and he had no idea I had brought anything with me until I pulled out my solo, TV evo, persei, a JyARz and my infamous bubbler. I have no idea why I don't have cargo pants though and I think I might need to get a few pairs so I can carry just as much inconspicuously when it gets colder. fashion be damned (not like I really pay any attention to fashion anyway)

I want pockets on the lower leg but I went to a military store and all the stuff they have is not where I want it. The bags you attach to your leg makes you have a belt.............I don't want to..............I want lower cargo pockets in the correct place. Lower should be on the side of your leg and upper should be in the front the side sucks for someone who is sitting. I want a lower strap leg bag.

Do you sew? Sounds like a market that is being missed and a business opportunity for you.

On the solo, or actually the f-bomb - has anyone compared it to the pinnacle WT? I'm curious to know how the two are actually different.

I want to see the diff between the two wts as well.............someone must have both. I don't even know why I care but I am just a curious person.

I bought a sewing machine to take up time and used it twice. I almost failed home ec and had a seamstress do finish my final project and that was in I think 6st grade. I can't sew for the life of me nor follow instructions.
