I LOVE the liquid, it's so much easier to use, better tasting, and more pocket friendly to name a few. I am sold on liquid from now on vs. wax. I vaped at work today in front of my boss and a family of customers, like nothing was wrong:ninja:, it was so liberating! I will always be toasting and from now on winterizing all of my juices! Also work just got a whole lot better!

I have grown to understand the level of respect I need to have for these concentrates, I was overdoing it before and now realize that I need to put some time between hits to let the effects kick in and reevaluate my state of mind.:spliff:

This is now easily my favorite portable vape experience, yay Liquidizing!

I concur. I think tonight was my best winterization. It's a CLEAR emerald! Absinthe-like.

Great Scott!
Ground up the tube of bud I used last time to run it again. Added just a pinch of fresh bud, and a couple pinches of some nasty trim.

Protip: Don't crank down too hard on the butane can. I had one snap the butane can nozzle and shoot away. I ended up removing the stuck nozzle from the rubber cork thing by screwing into it with a screw to pull it out.

Letting it vent a bit now and then doing a 2nd hot water bath. Then its ready to come inside to be dissolved in EC for stage 2 of purging :)

I don't get what I am doing wrong. Here is all I got from a full tube packed with fresh buds :( This doesn't seem like very much for a full tube of buds. Premium buds no abv or trim or anything like that. What could I be doing wrong now? I can't afford to give up too much bud experimenting. Not to mention I'm already flying through cans of butane.

This has since been dissolved in everclear and is now evaporating via fan/airing over time before I throw it on an electric griddle for the final heat purge.

Maybe you packed the tube to tight. The butane probably took the path of least resistance. Only to extract the path it took. Leaving the rest untouched.

well i got my EJmix today and i gotta say the bottle seems really small

you cant tell from the pic on the site and it does not state how many mLs are in it.

Liquidizer, can you comment on the amount of your EJmix bottles? i was expecting a tad more i suppose. makes for some pretty expensive stuff no...?

Could very well be. I used small hand broken buds. I'll dump it and grind it and pack it looser this time and see what happens for a second run.

Hmm - I definitly get more than that darkrom. What size and kind of butane did you use? Did you have any spill over in the initial extraction?

I need to figure out what I'm doing wrong, but I'm sure its in the packing of the tube. Next run will be 100% ground up bud loosely put in there. I think I'm overpacking or underpacking, but I can't tell.

I'll take my time and weigh the amount I use in the tube as well. Should make it easier to get a hint of what I'm doing wrong.

100ml can of colbri. I'll probably get much more on a second run.

I'll be honest. I've been getting fantastic results with this.

http://www.amazon.com/Jetline-Premi...qid=1376527018&sr=8-3&keywords=jetline+butane

Honestly it doubled my extraction. I also have learned that ABV turns into a sponge with butane. When mixing in ABV I dare you to smell the finished load versus a load without ABV. The presence of butane is much more prevalent in the ABV loads.

I always pack (super finely ground) very loosely to the brim. I stir but don't pack aside from when I place the rubber cap on when finished. If the weed is very moist than I also believe the water content effects the load as well. My results have been much more significant with a drier batch.

I'm trying to find the minimum amount of PG needed to effectively vape in a Pen.

what is your current ratio? and why?

thanks!
I've done .5 and 1ml. I honestly prefer the addition of just .5ml because the end product is a little more concentrated providing awesome draws. With 1ml it was fine but took a bit more draws to satisfy me (plus the taste of PG is more present).

I also got a bottle of EJMix today, was pretty surprised at the size too. They did throw in some free syringes though so that was kinda nice. I've been "testing" it extensively with some hash oil, hash etc don't have any waxes on hand.

i dont want to sprinkle salt on the Liquidzers game but i think this you can find a half gallon of Propylene Glycol for (Ejmix) for 26 bucks on amazon

You can get PG, but not the blend they sell, check his explanation earlier on in this thread. You could blend it yourself for cheaper of course.

I have based my addition of EJ mix on the yield of the extraction. They recommend the addition to be equal to your yield but I am going to try half my yield. I have to get new syringes as the measurements have faded and I want to be accurate in my testing.

How can I make ABV taste better?

I throw it away now.
The flavor of ABV kills me!

Although PG is pretty common, PEG400, PEG300 and PEG200 are much more expensive to secure. We source directly from Dow and mix, bottle, and label the EJmix - made in the USA.

Please understand we are a young company and truly mean for our products to be used as part of a complete kit. We will soon be bottling and marketing the EJmix separately, and this would be a good place to ask how large a bottle were you expecting? Remember this isn't a cleaner to be used in large amounts; it is exclusively for making Ejuice. In that sense, 30ml is the same as 10 full 3ml syringes which should go a long way. Assuming you vape 1ml a day, and that your extract is a 50:50 blend of EJmix and extract our bottle is a 60 day supply. Ejuice flavorings and liquids are universally sold in small portions. Let us know what you think.

thanks for the reply! im not using nicotine anymore and quit directy from analogs. so i never got into the ecig stuff. i figured the price had something to do with the mixture so no worries. i just was wondering because it seemed more expensive than most of the eliquids i searched. makes sense though. ill be looking forward to the future offerings. not likely that i will ever use butane though so i cant use your kit. although it looks like a great product!

i used your ejmix last night for the first time. it mixed very well with this chunk of reclaim i had and works very well! i screwed up though and did not weigh the reclaim so i just kept adding ejmix until it seemed thin enough for ecig cart use. i used 1.5ml of ejmix. im guessing my reclaim was a tad over a g. shit works amazing. very potent.

thanks for the ejmix!

*edit* im vaping my mix in a Kanger Pro Tank 2 and its magical! the game has def changed.

I understand you guys are working it out, but 30 ml for $35 (incl shipping) seems high for a base PG liquid. I can easily vape 3ml a day in an ecig, so it would be great if were at least 100-150ml for that price.

So far I'm loving it, it has cut down my # of spliffs in half and I will most likely order again, way sooner than your 60 day estimate...thanks for the free syringes!

I have done 3 runs and barely even scratched the surface of the EJmix bottle, I doubt I would need more for at least a few months. The price is fine for me and I will continue to pay it when I have refill needs. As Liquidizer stated before, this isn't just PG, it's a blend. Most blends are proprietary and cost more because it would be nearly impossible for you (the consumer) to recreate on your own, so you are not only paying for the base chemicals, but also for the research that went into finding the perfect mix.

We all have our way of using it, I was just responding to Liquidizer's query about sizing. I wish I had the luxury of being able to use the full system, but I don't. I buy my oils, waxes etc at the dispensary and I've already used 3 ml i.e. 10% of the bottle, I think by the time the weekend is over I will probably use another 7 ml. You probably only use it to help the butane purge quicker and hence don't use it as much I think.

If it gets too expensive I'll obviously try to blend it on my own, which I don't think would be hard at all, I'd just have to buy a huge quantity of the various PEGs.

True, I only use my EJmix as instructed. Obviously you are using way more than suggested and with concentrates that you didn't make on your own, so why would you weigh in on a product or it's price if you don't use it the right way?
