I don't understand that response OF, I use my T1 3.7v and get much better results than I did with the 6v. Mainly due to not having to stack the unpredictable batteries, but I easily get 2 loads from a battery now with the LV version, when I was only getting maybe 4-5 hits at most using the 6v version, due to over heating and battery sag.

If you're very patient you can get useful results with less power (I've tried a bunch of values for them) but overwhelmingly owners aren't happy with it. I believe almost everyone will find rebuilding their T1 to lower power to be a mistake.

I still have a LV Beta core (the last value) but both my T1s are set up SV.

Which is by way of saying you're exceptional?

Camping on the beach has never been so sweet. I was even using the ac adapter thanks to other campers making a chain of cords and splitters.

I keep having to have my 6v T1 core rebuilt. Zeki always takes good care of me on the return process so that's not an issue. This last rebuild only lasted about 2 months before one side of the filameńt burned out. Not sure why they keep breaking on me. I run them hard, with the power on during a whole 2 to 3 minute session using batteries. Is that pushing too hard or am I just having bad luck with the 3 burn outs I've had? I keep sending it in for repair because the T1 is a stealth master when it's working. I love being able to go from zero to lung busting hit in under a minute. And as someone else mentioned the ambient smell on the T1 is about as minimal as it gets. It's a vapor ninja.

Just bought a t1 power adapter from Pipes (I think) on eBay! Any tips for using this like a veteran? I am also looking forward to getting an adapter to hook up Cera carts to this thing!

Yes you purchased the adapter but without a supply though. Check your email on this. We'll get it sorted out.
The T1 is a 6 volt unit and the Cera is a 3.7 volt unit so a different supply would be needed to drive it with the T1 handle. The PA (adapter) will of course work with either voltage though.
You will definitely enjoy the new way to drive your T1.
Congrats and thanks.

Has anyone ever had a problem with their Tenergy batteries not charging. When I put the batteries in the charger it goes straight to green, but they don't seem to be heating up my Thermovape.

I haven't but it can be done, did you by chance deep discharge them?

I don't think so, I swap them out every session. And all four of them are behaving the same way.

Hard to say. I bought it used, but the seller said he didn't use it a lot and it didn't seem to have a lot of wear and tear. I'd say I've used it maybe 20 times so about 20 cycles.

Woha, bummer. My guess is the former owner deep discharged them too much/too often and put them on the path to battery heaven. It can happen with these guys (and other 'unprotected' batteries, they have no protection you see.....).

It could be a charger issue, of course, but my money's on the batteries having been a bit abuse in a former life.....time to buy more I think.

Had my first session with my Pipes made Power Adapter! :ninja: It's pretty sweet!! It was described that it would perform as though you had fresh batteries for every hit...I think it's actually better than that!!!
(unless my 16 original batteries were never that powerful or shipped defective :uhoh: which is doubtful)

I used the t1 a lot of times and got the hang of the ebb and flow of power with batteries and draw technique. Using this power adapter removes any learning curve from the device. Gets ya good and bake-y fast!!

Cheers! :peace:

If you still have a t1, grab one or two of these...You will be happy you did!!

Okay, the vapor is finally clearing here. I incapacitated a squirrel and at least one housefly. I also felt pretty great putting my renewed life t1 thru it's paces with all kinds of stuff (also glass) It is a super great desktop vape now that not having enough power is no longer a concern.

Thanks again Mr. Pipes! Thing is a rocker!

PS- I tried it with my REV/Dart combo and it was pretty scary too.:p I gotta try this again when the cart is freshly cleaned/ filled

I'm considering one of these adapters for my ultramax gear!

Please bare in mind that the supply I sell is not regulated and designed for 6 volt, low resistance devices below 3 ohms. If device is higher ohms the power will be above design specification of the device and very possibly burn it out.
There are other options. The actual adapter will of course fit. Regulated supplies can also still be had here at DigiKey. Also, last I heard TET does still have the handle for sale which is the alternative to my adapter piece. Or the other way around.?
Please PM if you have any other questions.

I can't speak for them, of course, but I saw a big old bin of the supplies there a while back, they had plenty of them (6 Volts, 4 Amps IIRC) but no more of the tubes (not sure about that part).

In any event, I think with your adapter piece and their supply you'd be covered? Someone should confirm that they've got 'em?

Well you guys got me to dust off the Evo I purchased right before the Cera was announced. It was getting no use, since I had no idea about technique until I found this spot on FC. Little did I know I wasn't getting a good seal on the PTFE part, and since I found a non-melting drip-tip to connect direct, it's one of my favorite ways to medicate and I've only burned myself a couple times :ko:

I wanted to share an experience with the AW RCR123a's... I have always used that crappy trustfire charger that came with my Alpha. I had a pair of batt's that got the always green light, yet no charge to be utilized. Recently I picked up a Pila charger and for grins I pulled out the "bad" batteries and tried them on the new charger. The Pila charged them right up. In fact it seems to drop a little more life into the batt's than the Trustfire ever did. No need to wonder what switch positions to use as the confusing ones on the Trustfire. I don't know if the fact that the batteries sat unused for months helped anything (chemically).

i picked up a T1 from craigslist.

slowly reading through this thread, on page 45 so far...

i'm trying to gather info on how to use this thing...my initial testing hasn't given me much vapor, almost to the point where i'm wondering if it should be boiled clean.

the unit doesn't look like it's been used more then a couple times and it seems to fire right up like it should but no matter how slowly i inhale i don't seem to get much vapor.

any advice? thanks
