As I walked into the kitchen after taking a shower, I caught the cover of the local daily paper out of the corner of my eye...and what was on it? A bird...and not an eagle mind you...

The Vapexhale Puffin! Just think about it...

I mean come on, the paper even says "Project Puffin." They know what's up!

Yeah in all honesty due to the sudden name change the finalists (me included) really didn't have that much time to update our entries. I just put this together quickly and yeah now that i think of it i don't see why that text shouldn't be in the top right hand corner. Admittedly it was rushed so i could supply and entry in time. And i had to make quick changes very late at night (4am). As for the white and green combo i personally don't disagree with you there as i was sticking with the companies colors for marketing consistency. I even used the same font vapexhale uses for their name for the title.
Now you've got me kicking my perfectionist self in the butt. Screw it. Even though it doesn't matter. Here.
(decided putting text up in the right hand corner seemed to detached. to stop my eye drawing there i turned down the brightness of the clouds a little). Anyways i just made this entry for fun considering the competition is over. (also fixed up the wings a tiny bit, colour correction, erasing a bit of the white outline)



All up i swear i've made about 10+ different revisions.


Thanks again 11eleven11. I actually recently broke my first glass piece ever.
My mobius 60t :'( so winning this competition was really some good news for me.

I'll have to put up a video of me hitting the hydratube when it arrives for you guys.

anyways, almost 5am.. i'm ramblingg and tired as hell.. goodnight guys!

More than happy to do a comparison haha. I'm still waiting for stonemonkey55 to upload a picture of the hydratube. I'm curious as hell to see it.

I didn't even think of the Puffin...great bird and it would make a great name for the Cloud/Eagle...unless that name is taken, also...

Well ... gotta' chime in with everyone else ... although the Eagle is truly a majestic bird, I'm extremely NOT FOND of the name as well ... I love American made products ... nothing like an American made Fender ... but an Eagle? (From Canada I'd rather see a Goose or Duck or Beaver ... the Eagle is pretty "American")

My Cloud+ seems to have stopped producing any green light when the temperature has been reached or when the vape is warmed up and ready to go. It still produces the red light whenever I move the dial or turn it on/off, but the green light seems to have disappeared entirely. That being said, everything is still working exactly the same as before as far as I can tell ... any info on whats going on and if there is any way to fix this?

I really like the green light and now I can't tell if the unit is even on or not ...

JCat...I like wild turkey's, too. I've got them in my pine trees almost every day and they strut around every evening feeding. And when they all run together, it reminds me of the way the velociraptors from Jurassic Park ran...kinda creepy how similar...

However...the general public is mostly familiar with the Tom's they eat...and those birds are not only ugly but dumber than rocks...

I loved Darth Vapor (whoever said it...)
And I love my own WME (Weapon of Mass Extraction)

But because they could name it Sanford & Son The Vape, it will still not affect my view of how it performs and the team behind it!! We didn't get to name the vapes we have come to love and rely on daily, but we still use 'em!

After being on for the last hour or so, my Cloud just suddenly turned green again out of nowhere ... no green light for 2 days and then boom! I hope this isn't a hint of a potential failure on the horizon ...

I agree. In today's age, marketing/branding is a huge, I feel VXH is shooting themselves in the foot by choosing such an obscure name.

I see no problem with going with Cloud 2.0. One of the reason's my first vaporizer was the Extreme Q 4.0 was because of the 4.0. In a world of ever evolving technologies, to me 4.0 sounds like they are on there 4th revision of improving their product, which shows a sign that the company cares. Someone used "Apple" as an example. If you look at there successful business design, they didn't rename the iPhone, we have the iPhone 3, 4s, 5.

I know the potential of "Project Nimbus" and how awesome the original Cloud is and I'm still torn about the name.

Yeah the less branding on the outside the better. Count me in as another contributor. Just finished sending in my info for the trade-in before they hit the $50k mark. I know my old "clicker" will find a good home this winter once the new one arrives.

Unless they also changed the design to include a picture of an eagle, we can call it anything we want. The only people that REALLY should care about the name is them. It is up to them to decide if calling it that will help sell more, less or be 100% indifferent to their marketing.
