We're here to fuck shit up.
I notice they raised the price of the shorty up to $28 from $15 or $20. I don't see $50 as a price on any wand. I see $70 - $90 for most of the custom wands, $30 for the standard wand, and $28 for the shorty. I don't think they are using bait and switch tactics, I think that sometimes prices get raised on items. That shorty wand looks like the only thing they raised the price on.

can i stick my male joint in there?
wow i never remember those transfer wands being so cheap, i bought mine for around $30 back then i think.

Why $50? They're $30 on the store?
If you're including shipping in the $50, then its not fair to compare that to the $12-13 figure, since that certainly wouldn't have included shipping...
I don't recall them ever being $12-13, was that when the units base price was almost double what it is now?
I guess $30 is a little steep, but it doesn't seem that bad to me :2c:

They were $13 when I bought the LSV for $189.99 last October (I'm always talking about the shorty wand, I hate the regular extra long one), it's now $28 plus $20 cheapest shipping to Canada, that's still up from $33 to $48, and a 215% price increase for the wand itself! If I also want a heater cover then I'm close to $70!

Things cost money. Sometimes prices rise. Living in a country outside of the product's country of origin sucks. It costs me almost $40 to ship cigars to Manitoba. There's not much to do about it. Purchase two or three wands and a couple heater covers. It may be a bit expensive, but you save on shipping. I'm a believer of crying once at the price, but then having everything I need from that point on.

Thanks Dangus for that site, I'll check how much shipping to Canada is.

I understand prices rise, but 215% more expensive is far from a slight increase, the absurd amount of the increase is what bothers me. If it had gone up from $13 to $15 or maybe even $20 it would have been more acceptable. I also know without a doubt they can ship a wand for less than $20 to Canada, it's just that they decided on this fixed $20 shipping to Canada no matter how large or small your order is so for small orders you get ripped off on shipping (but for large orders you get a good deal).

I'm also really tight on cash these days so I'd rather it cost me as little as possible, I was also thinking of getting a heater cover but that would have been $70.

By the way my wand broke when the LSV fell to the floor with the short wand in it. The wand snapped just above where it inserts into the LSV and amazingly the heater cover has no damage because the force was taken by the top metal cover that prevented the heater cover from breaking (though it probably won't save the HC in all cases depending on how it falls/breaks).

What about getting a wand made by a local blower? You could also buy the direct draw stem from Epic Vape that is used for the EV-2.

Hey FC, been lurking for a while, thought I'd make a post.

I've had my LSV for a little over two weeks now and I absolutely love it. I'm using way less herb and getting more medicated than I ever got with combustion. The taste is quite amazing too. I bought my LSV for $170 from PuffItUp (highly recommended) with free priority shipping. One of my most satisfying purchases this year! I think I'll be even happier when I purchase a bubbler or bong for this badboy :brow:

Many thanks to everybody who recommended the LSV!

Yeah, I used mine for over a month without as water tool and loved it. BUT DAMN MAN once you hook that beast up to a bong you find out what all the fuss is about.

I don't really see the benefits of using a water tool, to me it just dramatically increases setup time and usage complexity for not much if any apparent benefit. If anything I seem to get much less dense vapor with the water tool. I've only used it with a water tool 2-3 times in the 8 months I've had it, I normally use just the shorty wand.

Don't tease me :p! If I was to get a bong anytime before August, it'd have to be very small. I was thinking about getting an SSFG Travel Beaker or an HVY Mini Beaker. Anything else worth considering that is not too large and under $100?

It does increase set-up time but man, for me, it's TOTALLY worth it, but there are a few variables that need to be taken into consideration. I have found that very warm water makes a HUGE difference. Also, a tube that is not too large (12" max) with limited diffusion is the way to go. When these criteria's are met, vaporbonging, for me, is sooooooo much smoother allowing me to take HUGE hits without even a hint of wanting to cough. Absolutely no harshness whatsoever. Can't say the same when using the wand.

i've love bong and bubs before i've converted to vaping. so vape bonging feels more natural to me then the wand or whip/balloons and stuff like that does.

I think you can't truly appreciate the LSV until you pair it with a WT. I love this thing!!

Both excellent choices, I just bought a new HVY mini-tube yesterday (my 2nd HVY)and can't say enough good things about them. They're made right here in So. Cal., well built, American or German glass, great price. I vape out of a HVY beaker every day. SSFG is also in my top 2 or three glass artists, I have my eye on one of their "snorkels" as by next purchase. As a first buyI'd recommend HVY all the way. Brothers with glass has all kinds of HVYglass for under $100.

I completely forgot about the 4/20 sales going on right now! That HVY mini beaker for $47 is very tempting, but it is out of stock.

There's this one at $51, or this one at $59. I also like their worked beakers and tubes at about $70-80. Keep looking around there's bound to be some awesome 4/20 deals coming up.

Wow. I've only had my LSV a little over a week and it died on me already.
I've tried 3 different power outlets and it will not turn on.
The light won't even light up.
And no, it has not been dropped or banged on.
Now I have to call them tomorrow, this sucks.

edit:
is the knob supposed to "click" when you turn it off?
Mine doesnt... it only clicks when I turn it on.

Ok.........here's a heads up.

I've been exclusively using the HVY Mini-Beaker for over 4 years with my Purple Days. Works unbelievably well and it was my daily driver combo for a very long time.

Then I got my LSV which I also used exclusively with the mini. It was a bit more harsh than it was with my PD, but I just chalked that off to the fact that the LSV just pumped out more vapor than the PD did.

Then I won a Steele Concepts bong in a contest. As soon as it arrived, I mated it with the LSV and.............WOW!!! ALL of the harshness totally disappeared. Went back to the HVY just to see what would happen and the harshness returned. Went back to the SC.............harshness gone.

So I think what is important to realize here is that just because one bong or beaker may work great with one vape, doesn't automatically mean that it will work as good with another vape.

Just some food for thought.

I don't really like the color of the first one, but the second one looks pretty nice! I'll keep my eyes out for future deals too. Thanks.

You know, I'd really like to pick up one of these, but it seems like the universe is aligned against me. None of the local resellers have it in stock, 7th floor hasn't responded to my inquiry from last Friday. I called 7th floor and said, if I place an order with you now for the LSV, will it ship today? Their response was, "It takes 6 days to process your payment prior to shipping". Wha?

All things aside, I wanted to pick this up as a toy until my Cloud is repaired and returned. I was hoping to purchase today for receipt by the end of this week. If I have to wait longer, my Cloud will be repaired before the LSV shows up, which defeats the purpose. Along with what I assume is an inevitable 4/20 sale coming up....why buy the week before that...unless for a specific purpose, like time?

I also reached out to PIU via chat, whomever I was talking to didn't know what the LSV or WPA was,
Randy wasn't around. Most websites still have it priced at $299...vapornation at $249.99.

.......any leads on whom I can call, pay and ship today for a reasonable price? Wickiepipe has it at $152.99 after discount, but I'm not a fan and I'm not sure they are an authorized dealer.

Eck...first world problems.

I would have suggested that you purchase your LSV from the same place I purchased mine..........VapeWorld, as they not provided great service, but will price match 7th Floors pricing as well, but I just checked and their site says, "Out of Stock". Bummer.............
