I think the T1 was so close to being a great vaporizer. The thing that kills it for me is that the airflow is so restricted and then when the little holes in the cap get clogged it is so frustrating for me. Half the time it works well for me, the other half of the time is straining for a hit and being unable to create airflow. I have pretty strong lungs too. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for a more consistent experience with the T1?

Remove the cap, leave the mouthpiece connected to the cap, then blow through the mouthpiece, dislodging the clogging bits in the holes in the cap. If that doesn't clear all the holes, use a toothpick or similar object to clear the holes that are still clogged. Periodically use some ISO or Ethanol (Everclear) to clean the top cap. I don't even bother to soak the top cap, I just use a moistened Q-Tip, scrubbing the top and the bottom of the metal plate with holes.
Most of us found that trying to wipe inside of the top cap just made things worse, by transferring the goop back into the holes (hence the blowing and toothpick method). The cap clogging is my primary bitch about the T1, and something that was "fixed" in the cap used on the new Cera LL. One solution for the T1 was the short lived glass cap/mouthpiece designed by TET for the T1. It was only available for a short time (a month or so). TET mentioned in a previous message in the Cera thread that they might have a few laying around, though I'm not sure if they were talking about the mouthpiece version or the GonG version for bongs. (Which will still work as a mouthpiece, btw). You can give them a call or send them an EMail to check if they still have any, if you're interested. I have one of the glass mouthpieces, and it works GREAT on my T1, much better than the original.

The cleaning techniques that Haywood described do work, however like you I have found the cap clogging to be one of the main detractors from the T1 experience.
You can clear the holes in the cap the way Haywood described, but it almost has to be done after each hit, otherwise airflow is restricted. Even a completely clean (ISO soaked, boiled, etc...) cap only allows two or three hits before it starts to clog.
It's frustrating, but the only advice I can give is "learn to live with it"
None of the other vapes I own can beat the T1 for stealth, so I keep going back to it.

I've been experimenting with a 3/4" screen inside the cap. Only have a few bowls on it but it does seem to keep the resin from building up in the holes. You can still blow out any loose particles and when the screen plugs a little I'll just replace it.

You can take it another step, go to 5/8 inch screens which fit inside the bowl (can't mark the rim) and more importantly move a bit so a fresh area ends up over the outlet holes. This means it takes a long time to get fouled enough to matter since so much area is active. At that point I toss the screen in the used vial until I have enough to make cleaning (flaming) them worth while.
Another tip is to be sure your bud is well dried before grinding. Moisture in the bowl slows the process and tends to make deposits like we're talking about here happen faster. In MFLB, for instance, you can do an ounce or more of well cured herb (over 200 trenches at .125 grams per) between cleanings.

Ok so I know this might make some of you angry but I don't feel like going through 230 pages just to find a good review. I'm pretty new to vaporizers but I have used my friends MFLB before. For some reason I just didn't like it. Could someone give me an in depth review of the Thermovape T1? 
I feel like it would be a great vape from what I've heard and all the possibilities with oil attachments and bong attachments are very appealing. But still I feel like I don't know enough to make an informed decision. Pros and cons would be good to , I don't only want to know the good parts.

You do understand T1 is long out of production, right? While there are a couple of WP attachments, there's no such thing as an oil attachment, right? Herb only?

I think he's referring to Dart/Rev. I guess you could consider them oil attachments for the T1, no?
Anything is possible I guess, that would, of course, have the same 'out of production' problem too if that's the case.
I'm looking for a little confirmation of what's going on before addressing the invitation to explain the wisdom of the Torah while standing on one foot.

I've been running my 3.7v T1 and been pretty happy with it. I find I still get best performance if I put a fresh battery in for each new load, but I don't have the issues I had with the 6v of the over heating too fast, and sag in performance a few hit in, so I am still satisfied with how it works on 3.7v.

I have a 3.7v core but I use it with the 6v batteries (I know...I know...). I won't be devastated if I burn it out. It starts producing vapor in 6-7 seconds. I sometimes have to pulse the power to keep the heat in check. Not what you're looking for obviously.
Johnny Appleseed should know, however, that the chances of finding a brand new 3.7v T1 for sale are pretty slim. Resellers who have stock will most likely only carry the 6v version.
Also it looks like TET no longer has the T1 PA in stock (was there a few weeks ago). Too bad.

You can still send your heat core in and have it re-wired, I just don't know what the turn around time on that would be. An email to TET would get that in motion though, if one were interested.

The PA adapter can be DIY "built" easily:
110/220V to 6V 4A transformer is a Triad Magnetics model WSU060-4000-R (could be found at Mouser or other electronic suppliers)
then a simple Neutrik XLR jack can be used to replace the inner battery tube and makes a good interface with the mains adapter.
No need to drill, but just a bit of solder skills.
Total cost less than 20 bucks.
Let do a quick search on the subject and you'll find a youtube video where a guy uses this system (though he doesn't have the required mains transformer).

The power adapter is currently not for sale on our site only because we are missing a few components needed to build them. Otherwise, we do have most of whats needed. We are currently expecting to have them ready for sale again after our Cera pre orders and back orders are cleared out.
And as mentioned above, there are a number of resellers that have the T1 in stock. Although they are no longer in production, they still carry the same warranty as if they were in production. If you are in the SF Bay Area, there is a local shop in San Mateo, called The Cave, that had a handful of T1's in stock- possibly along with some accessories as recent as two weeks ago.

No hard numbers, 15 minutes each should be fine in most cases. More won't hurt. Be sure to dry it.

I just got an ultramax with the delrin sleeve. It seems to be on there pretty tight and i can not remove it. Is there a trick or an easy way to get it off? I watched the video and it looks so easy but then i try and cant get it to budge even the slightest

warm it up in hot water, or even try boiling it, just remove the top/switch part and inner battery sleeve first.
