i mentioned that and the jury is still out because PV is replacing mine so i will let you know when i get the new one. as it stands now... i prefer my stock stem over my PVHES GonG... but that may change

hey just wanted to let you know that the power needed to supply a dry herb vape can be done from a small battery, the launch box is proof. I know there has to be way to design a decent
ceramic cart for the 510

i agree!!! just got an email from them... my PVHES GonG that i sent to them has been replaced for a lightly larger one. i was told it's still loose but not as loose as the one i sent them. apparantly the M107 has a slightly different ring size then the newer M1A.

The largest PVHEGonG that we have currently still fits a bit loose in the M107, but not as loose as the one you sent back to us. In the newer M1A models they are very tight as Arizer made changes to the top ring to hold stems tighter

so i will be getting mine back soon and the testing will begin again... YAY!!!

i believe most people prefer them tight since they are made from glass and that prevents accidents.

Some, however, prefer them loose as it provides a bit better airflow and a different way of using it by just using the Solo as a lighter and the stem as a cigar.

I would go with the latest models, M1A's. :2c:

Don't let the serial # decide whether the stems will be loose or tight that's forsure. Now I know why VXL's serials are completely all over the map (very clever to avoid stuff like this).

The ring will warm and loosen and all stems will become looser. You can "reset" this ring, but it's fruitless since it will come up rather quickly. And more importantly the various different slight tweaks in tolerance of the glass blowing will make the biggest difference in how tight or loose it feels.

I didn't notice any differences between my M107 and M1A...both worked the same (great) except for that rapid dropping battery light on the M1A.

After owning alot of Solo's, i'd be happy with ANY serial number. Solo is a Solo, if it's not working LIKE IT'S MEANT TO, Arizer will make it so.

I was telling someone the other day that the only vape I would feel comfortable recommending to ANYONE is the Solo. I love the Cloud and all, but for the price and the performance, it's unreal. I didn't even need a vape when I bought mine, but now it is the last thing I use before bed. It's that good.

I'm also loving the GonG stem. I use it with hydratubes and an inline lay down :) good night everyone!

Man you both make me really want to order a solo right now. Im looking messaging ebay sellers to see if they will post it on amazon (as a different item if they dont sell vaps anymore). I will have amazon credit coming in next week.

Bestbuy had a deal where you if you take in any old POS cell phone or mp3 players you get $5 back and they recycle them. Im almost up to $75 plus $55 amazon credit for a text book trade in. I will go in with my $75 BB gift card and buy a kindle/amazon gift card. And boom this broke college student will have a new vap for practically free. Now I just have to either get a seller to list on amazon or find a good way to cash out lol.

I left for school around 10AM and just now got back at 12AM, this student could use a vape right about now.

Wow..I really want that bubbler from the last page, since i bought the 18mm Gong adapter from PV yesterday! Is creditcard really the only payment option though? I hate it when they don't accept paypal, since i don't have a creditcard as a european..

Update:
After so many weeks still my Solo isn't fixed yet.
I had to send it back to the shop where I bought it but now it seems to take them for ever to tell me what is wrong with the unit and if it will be repaired under warranty.
It has been going on like this for some 3 weeks now.
This shop isn't giving the service one might expect after buying such an expencive vaporizer from them.
They are quick to sell you stuff but when you need them because there are problems they seem to find all kind of ways to delay things.
They claim to be Europe's no 1 shop for buying vaporizers but to me they have become a bunch of stoneheads who really aren't aware of all the confusion they create by having employees who don't seem to be able to read and understand your e-mails.

And all the time I am without any vaporizer, which is used for medical reasons, so I am having a hard time medicating because I don't like smoking.

Vaposhop is a supporting FC retailer.. And he's from EU so other things to consider as well.

You are the second case in a row of a bad Solo and a bad return case with Vaposhop.. first time i defended Vaposhop, now i'm thinking something could be wrong over there.

I wasn't implying it is not possible, but many people prefer to avoid ordering from non-EU countries to avoid customs and potential delays with returns or malfunctions among other potential problems.

I had good experiences also, but last time for example not so good, i'm waiting for almost a month for something to clear customs and it was sent about a month before i received the notice from customs.

As you can see, a lot to consider when choosing where to order from.

Whats really matter is that you use the normal shipping method...

I got my replacement solo on warranty sent via EMS, it even says 0$ value
And had to pay 50$

I will vouch for PV and VW as having great service.

What do you mean by normal shipping method? It was sent by regular USPS. Last three times i ordered from the US it was regular USPS and it was fine.
The specific package i am talking about was sent as a 50$ gift, which would be below the value that i would need to pay for custom taxes and it still stopped because it was a gift.
Apparently e-business websites and ebays and etc have been taking advantage of this to skip customs so in my country they decided to inspect even if it's sent as gift. I wish i knew that before, maybe i could have prevent it.

As far as vaposhop..I bought my iolite there, but i never had any problems with it so i never had to deal with their customer service. I bought my MFLB and Solo in a store though, because if anything happens to those i want to speak someone directly.

If your use is for medicinal purposes i can highly recommend you to get a (cheaper) back up vape. I never used the vaporgenie but it is a cheap vape that a lot of people seem to like.

I find it amazing that a 7mm thick straight tube is only 25€, you might want to check if the thickness is really 7mm. In theory, that bong would fit an 18mm gong. ;)

You can also check www.head-nature.com for glass pieces in Europe.

And for those who don't know, Azarius and Vaposhop are from the same guys but with slightly different target costumers.

Thanks for the reply. This is really helping me. The quality of bongs Azarius delivers is not all that great, but they are not expensive either. I already have a 10cm version of that, and the glass is pretty thick. The bongs on that website look nice too though! And they have tons of handy connectors. Awesome! :D

I had some suspicion Azarius and Vaposhop were from the same guys because everytime a vape gets on vaposhop, a day or 2 days later you will find it on Azarius. I have had only good experiences with Azarius though. Couldn't tell you anything bad about them, they answer my questions in 24 hours and they ship pretty fast.
