Vapes may have been running at champs (epicvapes were) but it was definitely. against the 'NO vapor or smoking' policy of the venue and CHAMPS

You can't vape in a no smoking environment? I thought that was the whole purpose of e-cigs. I am obviously not talking about herb but was curious since that is how e-cigs were originally marketed that you can use them anywhere. I don't smoke so have no idea but remember them saying that in the advertising.

So if you are in a place that says no smoking and you light up an e-cig the best they can do is say put it away? This is just for my own knowledge like I said I don't smoke cigs or vape them either. I am asking because if people can then sometimes we can get away with vaping our stuff.
Things are different in different places.
I've seen police not only show up, but arrest someone with an ecig in a public park (the person did try to argue - always a mistake with LEOs - the charge might have been "interfering with an officer" since things got loud). For the record, this was in San Jose, California - probably just over two years ago.
Very scary (I live and grew up elsewhere, but visit NorCal regularly - in many cities in California the police seem out of control to me).

I think that is all over that the LEOs are out of control. Sorry to any cops on this board but they are control freaks who really don't care about the law

Anyway...back to the miVape. As soon as mine arrives I'll post comments/vids/pics. Stoked to experience the taste and vapor production. I have high hopes based on Vaporfection's recent posts. If they're excited, then I'm excited!

Drat! Oh well, I'll dig on my viVape and other portables in the meantime. I'm fortunate in that area. But I am certainly anxious...though glad I pre-ordered and will only need to wait when it's ready rather than also deal with the payment rigmarole, etc... at that time.

Is it just me or was all the hype for the champs trade show kinda pointless? The only thing we were shown was a plastic prototype that didn't work. I definitely thought we were going to see some cloud production

I also would like to see it in action, but I appreciated/enjoyed seeing the pictures from Champs, as they gave perspective I hadn't seen before. I don't care so much that it was a prototype.

Don't have much of an update for you, but we expect to have a video of miVape in action in the next few weeks.
Undeadhelghast, the ones we had at Champs did work, but we had them set to not heat up so they could be demo units. Like I said before, we did not test them during the tradeshow, but they do work; very well indeed.

Vaporfection, can you say something about the way the miVape is charged? Will it accept 220Volt, or just 110 like the PAX? A micro USB plug, like my inh004, would be great.

wow Vaporfection mades some lovely sexy products that looks like they are just as good as they look! The Mivape looks very promising, and would be the perfect gift for the holidays. I'm sure they are trying to make that happen, but i bet they will definitely get it perfect before they finally ship the product. I look forward to some upcoming videos with it!

Just took advantage of the New Years special to get on the list for a MiVape. Chag Sameach and I can't wait to see it, hopefully before Chanukkah.
With the new iphone about to be released, and the slighty bigger/newer design of the mivape, it doesnt look like anyone will be mistaking this bad boy for an iphone anymore :-(
