keep your duff, even after the amazing PD efficiency you can still revap it a little on ssv etc ...

best to eat duff - let it build up in small bag then run it through electric coffee grinder. one simple recipe is mix with peanut butter, put on cracker, heat up at 350 - 375 and remove from oven when it starts to smoke. doesn't taste very good and looks terrible but you can down it quickly - it's just a cracker sandwich. in about 2 hours you'll be royally fucked up.

yeah i've had a dbv for about 6 months. have 1 stick of butter left in the fridge made with the duff.

p.s. 1.5 stems in and i'm pretty high

never tried making butter, seems very involved. i have a video, "pot in pans" - i'll watch it one of these days for recipes.

well i just finished the first 3 stems and i am feeling good. this vape is definitely what my gf and i have been needing. i'll just say that everything everyone has already said in this thread is true and it seems to be worth the hype so far. pretty excited to get to know her a little more. thanks for the great product tom and pam. and thanks for all the great info FC

i bumped into my dealer last night on the street as i was walking back to my apt with lamb on pita from the algerian guy who has a kiosk down the block (great four dollar dinner) and he came up with his wife to try my PD - i stole the line "think milkshake through a straw" and he got it immediately - was able to get six solid hits from a load. "this shit is OFF THE HOOK MY MAN, can you order me one?" I did say, "I don't know there's like a waiting list," let's see in a couple of months maybe....

postscript - as he was leaving he dropped it on the floor and apologized profusely. I said, "I do that every day man don't worry about it."

I've already suggested this, although I don't think we'd allow such a negative title (Vapenow doesn't deserve it). I think it could even be helpful for those wanting to buy a PD, as far as providing info on how long the buying window is lasting, which day they go on sale, etc.

I'll start a thread there myself since 1- I have something to say on the delivery/availability issue and 2- This is not the place to talk about it, as we've often said. We're going to start doing the zero tolerance thing here. It may be a shock for new members to see their inquiry posts disappear, but it's the lesser of two evils at this point.

JeffP, my man, you have had me convinced about the duff bag for a while. After reading max's post the other day about the different boiling points and the medicine we don't get at true vape temps. Yeah, there has to be something left in there. It would be interesting to compare the effects of ABV vs unvaped weed in an oral administration.

So peanut butter and crackers,maybe honey graham, maybe sugar sounds good on it, and maybe a Hershey's dark chocolate kiss left over from Easter? I'de really rather have one of those pitas. I want two. But my duff (which used to get pitched) is gonna go to a new use. I've posted before that I don't like the weed taste, I bet ABV isn't much better, but I'm ready to try.

hey tom, you were right, the crazy norweidgens does have great fish and chips, and i dont much care for fish. We stopped in port orford on our way to the redwoods and i must say, you guys have the best view of the ocean anywhere on the oregon coast.

I just wanted to say how much I absolutely love the Purple Days. I got an Extreme a couple weeks ago and it is great for when I'm with groups of people. But I just keep coming back to the Purple Days. It is absolutely fantastic and wonderfully relaxing.

Also I was wondering if you had considered making the schematics to the PD public? I mean I know I wouldn't be able to do anything with them but if you ever decide to close shop (God forbid ) it might be a good thing to have available if someone wants to carry the torch or something like that?

Hey Tom - yeah, it's always going to be hit and miss regarding potency with duff but there is no downside to downing one of these crackers prior to a vape session (rather than just throw it away of course). One of these days I'm going to refine the cooking aspect but I know that if you add liquid lecithin it will help transmission so to speak. Right now I have the peanut butter cracker routine and the other way I do it is with cookie mix - you can add peanut butter to the cookie mix of course. Peanut butter works just as good as regular butter.

You could also pepper a dab of fresh unvaped material with the duff as a "boost" so as to insure high times. Eating is great - very different than smoking and similar to vaping except i's far more intense.

Hey Tom,
Just realized today May 14th is my anniversary of stumbling onto and joining FC whch led me to purchasing the PD within a week or two...
I remember at the time the PD was new and largedly untested here, and this site itself was pretty new, and I got a good vibe from reading your posts and decided to take a chance and ordered one.
Can't believe it's been a year.

Tom, it's a little yucky but if you've seen the movie Altered States there's that scene where the protagonist drinks some cacti concoction, maybe San Pedro, with Indians and he looks like he's going to vomit violently because of the taste, before he actually does vomit - this is not that bad.

Actually as I think about it, maybe making a cracker sandwich and then mixing it all together in chocolate ice cream.
This ought to be a thread onto itself because it (EATING) (not just the pita) truly is a very worthy endeavor, I promise you.
Eating good weed IS tripping, it kind of feels like where you are right after you peak from acid, where you linger in an astral state where solidity has returned.

So I have a next door neighbor that has gone thru a few different back surgeries and is currently in a LOT of pain. His wife has called 911, and the ambulance came out and took him to the hospital on a few different occasions because he was in enormous pain. He is on huge doses of Vicodin, Oxycontin, and few different muscle relaxers, and even with these scripts, at times, he is still under enormous amounts of pain. They are seriously thinking about fusing his spine and is awaiting consultation on that surgery. I suggested to his wife to try some MJ. They are both in their late 50's and have never smoked herb in their life and are very much anti-pot. I informed them both that MJ was a helluva lot safer than all the opiates that he is taking, but they have a real aversion to it.

About 5 nights ago, his wife knocked on my door in tears saying that her husband was in terrible pain and they would like to take me up on my suggestion being that nothing else was working.

I have two PD's, so I immediately ground up some bud, grabbed my PD that was currently hot, and headed on over. When I walked into the bedroom, Frank was curled up in bed in a fetal position, with his hands on his forehead, tears streaming out of his eyes, teeth tightly clinched and moaning in pain. On his night-stand were huge bottles of pills, mostly Vicoden and Oxycontin.

I plugged the PD in, waited about 10 minutes being that it was already warm, loaded up the stem and as his wife held up his head, I told Frank to put the stem in his mouth and inhale. They are both cigarette smokers, so this came kinda naturally. He took 3 hits, back to back, and laid back down. I told him that this wouldn't take the pain away, but may take some of the edge off.

The next 10 minutes was a sight to behold and I am still stunned. I could literally see the pain fading from his face. He relaxed his fetal postition and began to talk. After 15 mintues, he said that he could still feel the nerves firing in his back and in his hip and legs, but it was doing so without any pain.

I was like, WTF ? He's on all this Vicodin and Oxycontine and still in major pain and 3 hits off the PD and his pain was literally gone? All 3 of us were in shock.

I ground up a few more grams and brought it over and told him to keep the PD as long as he needs it because I have another. His wife cryed and hugged me as I left. This was about 5 days ago. I've gone over there a few times to check up on him. The pain has returned a bit, but NOWHERE NEAR what it was before he used the PD and its totally manageable. He's still taking his pain meds, but he's been able to cut one of his doses of both Vicodin and Oxy every day as he hits his PD once every 4 to 5 hours.

He says he just keeps in PD running on the nightstand, and if he wakes up in the middle of the night in pain, he just leans over, takes a hit or two, and he's back to sleep.

Just thought I'd post up a PD success story. With all the negative shit being posted up regarding shipping and availability, I thought this thread could use something a little more positive.

So, to Tom and Pammy, just to let you know that one of your creations is now sitting on someone's night stand and has made a dramatic improvement in the lives of two very nice people.

That was a great story. The PD has helped me open up many of my friends eyes to the benefits of vaping. And, of course, we all know that mj is nature's greatest medicine and something I recommend everyone consume daily.

It's so good to hear, lwien. One of the very big reasons I keep going. Maybe the biggest. Very impressive pain relief story. And a very generous person you are, too. Thanks for helping out those in need.

Jeff, I have eaten it quite a few times. But my method has always been fresh stuff ground up and put into capsules, except that time me and a buddy choked down some Columbian buds, seeds and all, in a no-smoke concert. Woot. first time for edibles, and the trip was on. Maybe '76 or '77. I don't consume it as edibles very often, maybe a few years ago I did it a few times because the stuff was plentiful. But mostly I had trouble gauging the effects. None, or trainwreck. Maybe the ABV will prove more manageble. And like I said the BP of some of the medicine is pretty high so I look forward to seeing what the diffference in high is. Maybe more medicinal?
