Best low cost "emergency vape" in case my main vape breaks?

With the issues I had with my EQ rendering it useless for weeks, I realize having a backup vape would be a very good idea because I can't imagine smoking again even in an emergency (I've been using a vaporizer for well over 5 years). With my Volcano I never considered this as the Volcano is extremely reliable and very hard to break unless you have the fragile analog model which I had and broke, but easily fixed, though the digital one wouldn't have had any damage from the same fall since it has no moving parts like the analog's thermostat.

What is the lowest cost vape that would be the perfect "emergency vape"? I'm guessing one of those lighter powered ones, I don't care about exact temp control on an emergency unit which I would hope to never have to use, like a fire extinguisher, I want to have one, but never want to use it.

So is there any vape around $10-20, I don't care if they're inefficient, as long as I can get medicated without much or any smoke I'd be happy, even if it means having to use twice the amount of herb for the same effect during the emergency period.

Not gonna happen. Cough up $50 for the vaporgenie or $100 for the mflb. Anything else less than $100 is a waste.

An Ubie or a Vapor Bat would probably be your cheapest options. Both are in the 15-20 dollar price range.

Thanks, that's exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. I assume you can manage to get enough vapor to get medicated with this? Keep in mind this is something I hope to never use (other than of course test it once I get it) and I don't care if it's inefficient, as long as I can get medicated without smoke that's all I want in an emergency vape.

I actually just received a few Ubie's this week to take to concerts. It's a bit tricky to use, but it works. If I have to ditch it, it's not a huge loss.

You can find them for ALOT cheaper than $15 bucks if you look around. Especially if you buy more than one.

PuffitUp is selling a "ubie" for 14.95. I tried it, and it works well.
Ubie Vaporizer

I have one also; perhaps I didn't give it much of a chance but I attempted to use it years ago knowing nothing about vaporization. Regardless it's within the OP's price range.
Personally, assuming the funds are there, I would look around craigslist for a used vapor bros for $70 as backup. Believe it or not I bought a used vaporbox for $25 on ebay - as
backup.

*edit*

actually Eagle Bill's Shake & Vap pipe is about $23 and looks interesting also. supposedly it works fine with a tea light candle as opposed to butane.

If you're going to spend $20, you could spend $40 and get a nice effective metal VG that you can use as a backup or have other uses from time to time as well :2c:

SD_haze,
Yeah, Iwien is correct, Vaporstar is like 25 and is a fine backup vape. It's great providing you have glass.

Glass vapobowl is the shit and is like 28-40.

Vapocane is also very much the shit and is say 35-65 depending on whether it's made in Germany or China. A "tasting" of all my vapes in sequence and in depth has actually made the vapocane my second favorite of the bunch for a number of reasons: small bowl, super dense clouds, great taste, 100% glass, high temp annihilation for concentrates or super-low temp waves of convection goodness for herbal material, all depending on lighter technique.

All are true convection vaporizers, all can be used with herbals or concentrate, and all I think are in a far superior category to an ubie, unless maybe you're hitting oils.

Also, I think using an Ubie type vape at a concert would be difficult, all the movement and air current and the nightmare of keeping a bic lighter lit. Also the conspicuousness of it all. MFLB is a concert goers friend, except that its learning curve means you can't really share with other random concertgoers.

Vaporstar is my only vaporizer so I can't compare it to other vapes but imho it's awesome, especially if You have a nice but not too big glass piece to go with it :)
