not very nice to say about our moderator...
Hey, not only are our moderators not feckless, I hear they are well equipped. At least that's what I hear...

Moving right along, there hasn't really been much new happening over at George's place, at least that I have seen. Are they leaving the innovation to the third party community and just keeping to their basics or is there something coming that's still under wraps? Anyone know anything?

If I had to guess I would say all waking hours are devoted to the IH release

can anyone tell me where I can get spare o-rings for tip for vapcap M in EU except vaposhop?

I need 2 new o rings for the tip because mine's where destroyed (1 total, 1 almost totally) after only a few removal's of tip. I think one was already destroyed on arrival but I can't be 100% sure so I wont claim that.

the vapcap's carb hole wasn't debbured properly and had metal shavings protruding on both sides of the carb hole.
for 60€ I really expected more :-(.

Thehedonistclub and Vapefiend have o rings listed on their sites
There's a few other options in this thread and the best of thread too if you want to buy more or want to try different materials.

I'm still hoping for a portable temp controlled IH, XXL stems, and ceramic mouthpieces from DV for Xmas
Maybe they'll have some exciting news in tonight's stream

@djurodjakovic, whatever you want to know about o-rings you can find out by doing a thread search for o-rings.

There's better deals than those, thing is you need to order enough for free shipping. Basically a life time supply. It made sense for me as a maker to buy this many because I like to ship out fresh O-rings with my stems.

Yeah, as more and more third-party producers start filling the gap, I assume that they don't want to get in too late.
If they stick with the coffee-mug design, then they are already too late for me.

Releasing a battery operated coffee mug (AKA heater) would seem to go against the professed
Tenet by DV of no batteries—altho I find the induction heater a bit more refined than playing
with a flame lighter.

Just my personal preference. Be interesting to see how DV resolves this conundrum.

Looks like you should maybe cut down on your, ahem, "favourite passtime". Or use the other hand once in a while :brow:

I love using my induction heater with my Dynavaps, but I loath the coffee-mug shap/design.
I like induction heaters, but NOT ones shaped like that.

It may be prudent to have discretion in some Draconian areas, but as more and more minds open up,
and demonizing laws shit the bed, it would be awkward for the enlightened to be sneaking around
with *huge* coffee mugs—to enjoy a toke from their tiny VapCap.

Especially since no one would care anyway—except perhaps the hard core liquor moguls, and the
cancer-prone-butt-smokers.

Enjoy your VapCap. And your small IH.:clap:

I really enjoy the durability of dynavaps. I especially like to read threads on other vapes, some of which I have had and people going on and on about cleaning, and techniques to disassemble and clean. That used to be me. I had an og pax, and cleaning every few uses was mandatory or it would just fail. With the dynavaps you learn how to take it apart, give it a brush or a soak, rinse, let dry reassemble. Not only that it works for all their products. Since I have 4 dynavaps in rotation usually, I occasionally take one down for cleaning and boom back at em.

RastaBuddhaTao(RBT) has developed a heater prototype for Vapcaps. Essentially, it is mesh on a 510 deck which attaches to a mod.

You simply put the Vapcap thru the center of the mesh 'circle.' It's currently called the RBT eO.

10 units have been made and will be available on the website soon for U.S.only. I believe roughly $40.

Full Disclosure: I am a beta tester, but I am not nor will I be compensated in any way. (Hopefully I can keep it if it works well) ✌

I highly doubt that would be better than in induction heater. However, the fact that you could mount it on a significantly smaller, more pocketable battery, would probably give it some appeal for use in some situations.

Not sure that I get how it works?

The mesh is a heated tube that you stick your vapcap in. I just don't think that kind of radiated heat is going to be as efficient, or even, as induction heating is.

IDK. On IG it seemed to have potential. I am tired of waiting on IH. That's my interest. And should be less expensive. I mean people use those Chinese dental IHs.

On IG, the ABV was very even. I was surprised.

Hi guys!

I haven't posted in a while, I asked for suggestions for a vape and gladly everyone suggested the OmniVap (well, almost everyone) and I'm so glad I got it! I've been using it and I love it so much, I just have a question, lately I've been feeling something weird in my omnivap, not sure what. Maybe I feel that I can remove the mouthpiece very easily just pulling it lightly, I'm not sure if it's supposed to be more "firm", have I lost the O rings? Are the O rings the grey ones? I think I've lost something from my omnivap, something is going on, I feel it different, when I tried the bong attachment, every time I tried to remove the thing that you attach to the mouthpiece so you can use it it a bong, the mouthpiece came with it and I had to attach it again, I remember that it was more firmly before, any thoughts? Thanks!!!

I bet it costs more than what I paid for my induction heater.

Maybe it's time to change your o-rings out for new ones?

It is possible that when last cleaned there may be some some cleaning residue (soap?) either on the O rings, or inside the body. Try rinsing out with warm water, and dry throughly.

That might resolve the issue.

If not, Ramahs suggestion is the next logical step (altho the O-rings look intact).

So far I've understood it myself. But I can't believe it shall be used with the free-standing, unprotected mesh!? Because of the vertical standing mesh I can't see a way to protect the mesh area with a "hood"

I missed the dynavap live, and won’t be able to watch it for a while because of work. Anyone feel like summarizing? I saw the extension and larger Omni inclusion of the $20 “m” offer.

Regarding the IH, I wonder if it will be able to store the vapcap and maybe even some flower under the lid when not in use? I’m not ruling it out. They’re all about functionality.

100% with you. 'A hood' would be the next phase. It would need to be a non conductive material to eliminate the risk of shorting out on the 510 deck terminals: like glass or ceramic.

Thanks for the input. ✌
