Figured it out. Here’s my Dynavap collection. Pipes’ skeletor inside a custom Lament Cornfiguration box, DIY gold anodized Omni-Ti, bi-colored cocobolo ER, Ti Blackwood woody-S, Wenge ER, and a couple of Jyarz.

I’m really happy with the way the box turned out. Started with a 4” softball display cube, and wound up with this after about a month of tinkering with it here and there. I still need to glue a few things in place and I think I’m going to look into putting some sort of clear coat on the whole thing to try to keep the vinyl from peeling.

Huge shout out to pipes for the amazing IH, and I apologize for editing this post so much.

@wall, this is Pipe's Induction Heater inserted in a custom housing.


@Guiltfeeder, your collection is beautiful. The box is stunning. Now I see why you went with a gold omni. Love the dual-colored stash. In order to insert the on/off switch, did it entail any re-soldering?

May I suggest you repost this in the @Pipes thread so when someone's looking for housing design ideas it will be included there. Will be nigh impossible to come across it in this big-ass thread.

@Summer thank you so much for the kind words! There was no re-soldering necessary in installing anything with this process. The on/off switch has two little metal plugs so to speak in the back. They disconnect pretty easily. The battery level indicator has a small plastic clip that gave me fits at first to disconnect but only because it is so small and I was afraid of using much force. I am going to up load some more photos during the build process and then post them all in Pipes thread. I’m not usually much of a DIY-Er but I have learned a lot during this fun little project.

That thing is awesome!!!! it will be interesting to see the options once people start making them and selling more

20% sounds good if you are living in the US. anywhere else, it will hardly cover the import tax. If you are european based its still cheaper and faster to buy from a european website. Not complaining, just saying.

@Guiltfeeder that IH enclosure looks fantastic. Hope you don't have to solve the puzzle to change the batteries though :evil:

Dropped my M cap end first over the weekend and it's slightly deformed the very top edge of the cap (and at least one disk inside). Still works fine but now clicks once only, quieter than before on heat up and very quietly on cool down. Doesn't seem to have changed the timing for the click and am still getting the same results as before.
Might not be a bad thing tbh, was beginning to wonder when the wife would get sick of the constant clicking while she was trying to watch TV. I'll get a new cap when I make my next order of bits.

Have acquired some nice Moroccan hash, which while not full melt isn't far off, and have to say the vapcap handles it rather nicely. Was using my lotus mainly for hash but it may well have a serious contender here.

Thank you so much 7oli5, you are very kind! Thankfully i managed to get an affiliate code for free postage direct from DV, ill still have international card fees, but it worked out the most economical way. I also got an xl vapcap tube which you can't seem to get this side of the pond.

Thanks again 7oli5 though, another example of how great this community is!

So are the colored OmniVaps gone?.....are they coming back? Can you request one? I need another body and mouthpiece but I wont go wood again....Dog ate the last body. Titanium will fix this problem...:lol: Carbon Fiber is on back order and I love my CF. It is hard to find the carb but I like the feel. Sooooo it looks like I have to spend the big bucks and if I am going to I kind of wanted a colored one.
