About gratitude towards companies: yesterday I was treated by a physical therapist/physiotherapist for two tennis elbows (were you thinking about making a masturbation joke? You were not the only one...). I can't use the VC cause I'm not allowed to make a fist and to make spinning movements with my hands. How impractical... Typing is also not recommended...the rebel I am.

Now I'm vaping uncomfortably with my Launch Box (imagine how a squirrel eats a nut. That's how I look when I drink from a glass or vape with the Launch Box..) and am so grateful that a Dynavap IH will be released somewhere this year! That would make vaping a lot easier for me at this moment.

@Dutch-Mic ouch two tennis elbows! haha dang.. ( ill keep from making jokes) I had that happen out of the blue suddenly, one year on my right elbow did the same thing and I had to get PT, lots of ice and heat, then just like that it was gone:shrug:. I went back a few more times, had a crush on one the ladies:evil: you'll get back to VCing in no time!

I also have gratitude towards a therapist, a massage therapist :) She changed my life. After going to physiotherapists, doctors and even having an orthopaedic surgeon go in and look around my knee joint only to say that there was only a little arthritis and he could not understand where all the pain was coming from, this massage therapist who I saw for neck issue also fixed the knee! It was an insanely chronically tight calf muscle that was pulling my knee askew while I walked. Free from crippling pain after each day of work as a trades guy, with each step being painful, all af a sudden I was free from pain and running around like I was young again. I lost 25 pounds and folks noticed and commented about my rejuvination. She in fact uncorked the genie within (fixed, freed up other things, physical and esoteric) and I changed from an old guy to an enthusiastic cross country skier, followed by becoming a mountain biking enthusiast to stay in shape in the summer:) Now, maybe 6 years later, at 66 I am in the best shape of my life:) FWIW, that isn't saying much because of my former couch potato ways :)

@Dutch-Mic I have tendinitis from my shoulders to my fingers in both arms. I play solo instrumental guitar for a living and I'm an Indie artist meaning I do most of my own booking and most of my own PR and marketing along with writing a blog, and keeping my website up-to-date. The last 6 months has been a struggle to say the least. I totally understand how you feel right now.

Using the IH has allowed me to use my vapcaps which is now easier on my hands than the Milaana or Lil' Bud where I have to wrap my fist around the vape and press a button. I have to watch how much I use those, but I love them and typically start my cannaday with the Lil' Bud chasing tasty clouds.

I try to minimize the damage to my hands. Today is a big typing day so not a big guitar day. And hopefully tomorrow will be more of a guitar day with little typing. Gotta do some stuff around the house this weekend so I'll wear gloves to take some of the pressure off the tendons and ligaments. And limit myself to 45-60 minutes.

I've also become the dishwasher in the house. The hot soapy water along with the non-repetitive nature of washing is really soothing on my hands, and I've now taken to washing my hands in hot soapy water about 15 minutes before I perform. Really helps me loosen up.

Vaping helps my hands and my head to deal with slogging through the recovery, and much of that is due to George designing an amazing device that delivers the medicine I need right now.

I don’t think folks are mainly pissed about the QC issues, but surprised and disappointed, based on the company’s past performance.

Perhaps we need to step back, take a breath, and not be so expecting of instant gratification (myself included). I know there are several companies that have a wait time of MONTHS foe one of their vapes. The type of demand created by the 40% off flash sales had to have been overwhelming for them. Exponential growth since the introduction of the original M definitely had to have created some growing pains.

I know it's not the case for most but I was waiting months for my Dynavap parts and held back talking about it or raising a complaint for a long time. The only reason I knew that the second wave of LE tips were shipped was that there were other members receiving LE tips and mouth pieces. Had I not reached out I likely would still be waiting and possibly even longer due to the 420 sale back log.

The QC issues along with other factors are what pushed me to say anything at all. I wouldn't have minded waiting so long or having had to prompt them about the parts if they were fine when they arrived months after I had actually made my payment. There's more I could say about the whole situation but I didn't want to breed general negativity around such a specific case.

Unlikely but yes, you can be waiting months for a vapourizer from Dynavap.

I would like to type more, but thank you for sharing your stories! Living and working with physical pain can be quite a challenge. I'm glad that therapists and/or VCs made a difference.

My order is already on the way so I can't add anything to it but now I wish I got some of that degummed hemp fiber. None of the headshops around here even know what it is. Is there somewhere I might be able to get some without paying the inevitable insane shipping costs in Canada?

Any thoughts and opinions on the new/recent 2018 5-fin Ti tips? I'm kind of disappointed in it, bit I guess it has its indications. Greater convection to conduction properties. 99% of the time I use my Jarhead, and I find that the previous generation of 5-fin Ti tips had the perfect ratio of convection to conduction, and my M tip had greater conduction to convection.

Just strange that they rolled out a new Ti tip without a preview or warning or choice to pick that one vs the previous version.

I guess I have 3 different tips to choose from depending on the situation!

I too got a too big cap in my 420 order..
I tweaked/pinched it almost to the maximum and now it holds on the tip, he's not falling, but it only makes one "click", both during heating and during cooling. Funny. Now i got a "collector cap".

I have a couple of caps that really only click once; especially on heat up. I'm pretty sure that means both discs are moving/clicking at or near the same time.

Every once in a while you will get a cap that only clicks once. Probably didn't have anything to do with the adjustment, but if you contact Dynavap they might replace it. One of my caps only clicks once the majority of the time, but I just got used to it since it was one of the few black caps that ever got made

As I am in France, that I had it during a promotion and that I have others I will not complain.
I also noticed that it made more noise than others when you shake a little the vapcap, as if one of the two discs "floated" inside.

I've had caps that clicked only once for months then suddenly decided that they would double click one day. I've also had one click disappear for weeks, or two clicks will happen on heat up and only one on cool down.

Tis the way of the cap, I'm happy as long as it clicks.

Hey @Dutch-Mic ! I know you can't type and you shouldn't, just a few quick tips about your tennis elbow. I used to have several issues with tennis elbow. I won't bore you with details. I did 12 physio sessions that helped a lot and through that specific physio guy I learned about taping, otherwise known as kinesio-taping. If you don't already know about it lemme know at some point so I can pm you with details. It's a very helpful alternative to a brace, that soothes the pain, supports and lets you move a quite a bit more freely.

After you go through your period of rest and slight recovery, I'd suggest you use a flexbar (for more details, again, let me know when you can, so I can pm you). It helps with strengthening your forearm muscles, which are in general very overlooked and overused muscles.

For the inflammation, you can use gel ice-packs for 10 minutes tops (or something you can fashion with plain ice), but it's generally not suggested to be used for prolonged periods of time. If your forearms feels cold (you can tell by touch) use warm compresses, but just warm not hot. Also during sleep try and sleep on your back for a while (if both your arms are affected by tennis elbow) or on your side trying not sleep on your arms. You can use a pillow to rest them both or one at a time depending on the way you choose to sleep.

Also, try not to lift anything for a while with your arm extended. For example, don't reach for heavy bottles in the fridge with an extended arm. In general, avoid lifting weights for a while.

Last but not least, do not get too stressed about it. It will go away soon. But do try to strengthen your forearms muscles, it will save you from a lot of pain and stress. I swear by the flexbar. It's very very effective!

As for the vapcap @InhaleExhale beat me to the punch. I don't know if this would work for you though.
@Dutch-Mic maybe you can roll the DV on a table back and forth as demonstrated in this Youtube (Step 2):

Sorry I don't recognize the forum member from here who made this fantastic review, please sound out!

Wish you well! And everything is going to be fine soon!
