So since heat is generated inside the object itself, it's just like microwaving, except that with induction, it's magnet waves that's the facilitator (for lack of a better word). Yes?

Yes.. almost :) However, The organic material inside is COMPLETELY unscathed by the electromagnetic waves swooshing back and fourth through it. This ' microwave' mostly just heats metals, and more so, metals that are in a loop! Like the circumference of the VC tip, where electrons can whizz around and around then zoom back again and again so fast and so many they rumble the surrounding atoms making them roar with thermal energy heating up the tip itself releasing the VC Magic mix of airflow and thermal transfer to your lovely little buddies as they evaporate their sweetness into your welcoming alveoli. :D

Basically, electrons CHANGING their ~speed create an (electro)magnetic field with a CHANGING strength. Similarly, a n electromagnetic field causes electrons to move. 'Electromagnetic' waves, specifically due to the changes (in speed / strength), as it's the changes which make electrons and magnetic waves interact. They do not interact while static. Then it's just electric fields and magnetic fields.

So we go to the park and put those electrons on a nice big swing! and push from each side, and by making electrons go round and round those coils back and fourth again, an electromagnetic field that changes its strength and direction (back and fourth again) is created going through the center of the coils, which make the electrons in the vapcap cap and tip go round and round causing electric currents from side to side. It's these LARGE electric currents in the VAPCAP itself which cause it to heat up, just like a wire with lots electricity going through it can heat up..

P.S I have a dirty confession to make :) I've had a bit busy last few months, and I can't even remember when the last time I cleaned my two main drivers. They.. keep ..going. It's not that I don't make some time for myself to clean them, I just use it differently :) I use my 17M and an early gen Omni-Ti almost exclusively and I run multiple scientific experiments a day :D. I have a blackwood and a damascus steal stem waxed up all safe and and cosy in a little storage tin while The 17M and Ti Omni are just TANKS. They just.. keep.. going.. I literally use them and abuse them. (Better than tanks then, which don't always just keep going..). I also keep my omni wide open anyway, as the 17M, which I find very laid back even though more hits are needed as I like to sizzle low and long, which is incredible that the ends of the range perform so similarly in some senses. My Ti tips are from the squaered off days, so I filed them myself and recall the improvement, and the 17M is a tad tight at it's widest, so while already great, I don't really need ANY others. These could really be 'the last vape you buy', or at least, if I had to take two things to a desert island, it'd be my all Ti or SS VC and some heat source. screw food. But.. the refinements I see this product just keep getting are incredible, and a lot of fun to try keep up with. :love: @VapCap :rockon:

@beyond6strings Pliers may prove a challenge, a C-clip installer may prove helpful— in a pinch, you can try to use the needle points of a circle compass from the “under $5” store.

The first time I cleaned my omni was when it got clogged up and died working. I continued doing that.

Try a metal polish like brasso it's really easy to deep clean with it.

It’s what we used to polish our brass in the military. Every locker had a little 4 ounce can and some cut up old T-shirts. Some folks used wadding polish, which was the same chemistry embedded into a big cotton ball, sealed in a can. Open, pinch a “wad” and polish your brass. You could throw a pinch into a baggie if you needed uniform maintenance on travel. Basically a chemical oxidation remover, mainly petroleum distillates.......which is ultimately why I have just learned to enjoy the rich patinas of heat oxidation on my VC tips and caps.

I combusted twice in a row again. I first combusted because I was to far from the end with the torch. But why am I doing this twice in a row? Is my cap holding water? I am not submerging It.

I think you could make a very thin water-based paste w/ BKF & scrub very lightly with a a soft toothbrush. And if you do, rinse really thoroughly. But try an iso soak 1st & q-tips. I surely think this will be enough.

I was wondering how my Dremel with the polishing wheel using tooth paste would work? Mine is starting to look pretty bad after all my bon fires! :doh:

I'd try the BKF 1st. Then I'd polish with toothpaste. As a last resort, you could then try the dremel. If you do try it, let me know how it works out.

My spinning Ti mouthpiece arrived In the UK customs on 1st March and I'm still waiting! Patience must be practiced...
We don't have to go to customs (at least in London) but if there was ever an issue i'd just call it a tobacco vaporizer... "Like a pipe"... Job done.

Can pick up my ti mp und le tip from german customs tommorow. Never had troubles.

If I've ordered parts, they are CNC parts for Model making.

If I've ordered a complete dynavap. I say it's a vaporizer.

I dunno I'm pretty Blaise about flying with things; I can actually prove it too maybe. I wouldn't and I've done some stupid things before. A portside or portside mini would be fine carry on imo. I'd risk the jar head with check in though. Though if you can't bear the thought of losing it don't risk it.

Not only would it be a costly confiscation, you'll have to wait as long as 4 months until you could get a replacement. I wouldn't risk it. Use the time away from the Skelly to work on or improve your lighter skills. That's what I would do. :nod: :D
