Ah yes, the infamous Li'l Bugger:

It is an unregulated 14mm, which I felt was not good enough to warrant two separate manufacturing streams for the Milaana. It's okay. It works and I know some people would prefer the smaller diameter airflow, but my opinion is that dividing RBT's attention and resources would have been disastrous and for not nearly enough return.

Note that there's no button, it's either on or off. This led to me cutting a piece of plastic to slide under the contact in order to break the circuit. Although this was the forerunner of the Milaana pick, I can't take credit for that. I believe it was @hippogriff who first suggested a guitar pick safety lock in response to a suggestion by @GTAVaper to cut a piece of plastic as I had already done (but not told anyone about).

Just a little bit more of RBT history for you.

I know. I really should get rid of all the vapes I don't use which are mostly the butane ones like the daisy but I really like the way the wood vapes look. I've sent all the non wood ones to Vitolo.
Or I need friends who vape. My one friend who uses cannabis still only combusts even though I've given her several vapes.
And realistically, it's hard to pass up on any vape made by RBT.

I don't think so. Mostly I have early versions of vapes and don't buy them when upgrade. All my milaanas and vapcaps etc are from the first year or so.
Which is why I'm excited about the splinter. It is upgradable so my early version will probably be the same as later versions.

Totally doable but finding an ultra small LED voltage read-out proved difficult. Agree a better battery securing method with improved safety cut-off would be good improvements. This design was time limited so all great things to consider with Mi3 as over 300 Mi2 bodies are in process.

Waiting list coming to the www soon. Ike said once the pre-orders for Splinter are complete he will post the waiting list for Mi2 and the Open Source project. Ike is also working on a way to perk all previous customers as it's folks like @ZC that made RBT a reality.

With that, it's time to go work on Splinter... today, is a good day!

Talk about honored, bro I can' tell you how honored I am to have this piece, omgosh I've said it at IG and gotta spread the thanks and love around all over. That piece is truly a thing of beauty and one I will hold dear for all my life, many thanks Ryan! You better check yo self though since 2007 my man, lol just kidding. This month starts my 11th year in the biz, can' say again how thankful I am to you all for the love and support over the years!

The 0.28' voltmeters on the first page are I believe exactly the same as the Geekcreit ones on BangGood that I posted, albeit considerably pricier.

They are much smaller than the one on the prototype @pakalolo posted above and could definitely be included inside the flat bottom base of the Mi 2 or Mi 3.

On a #rbtmilaana2 note... this advanced unit is headed out to my adopted son for final validation testing. Other than the hand-made copper it's production ready. The new copper will be smaller and the battery dimple will be redesigned.

Just wondering if there are additional differences between 1 and 2 besides those mentioned. I actually have a smaller milaana 1 that I like quite a bit.

The only additional change that is planned is the update to the copper battery hatch. This will add some style and ease manufacturing labor. The Current copper making process is detailed in the following post.

Early release Mi2 units headed out to Ed, Troy at 420 VapeZone and @AJS today for final validation testing. Many thanks to @Other Side for doing all the work that lead to the refinements in the Mi2. Hopefully these handful of early units won't disappoint other than the hand made copper hatch.
