. Snip snip ....Also... someone should make a magnetic connector along the xlr wire and one end secured somewhere so if it does fall the power is cut off.

Sounds like over-engineering. I don’t want magnetic connector coming apart when I am using it. If it falls and separates it is still going to be 700ish degrees.

Personally I think design wise it is pretty much perfect. I always felt the log styles were awkward to use.

Maybe... i wouldnt complain if my cord did have it. I wouldnt care too much if it disconnect while in use as i can just plug it back in and not really wait for it to go back to set temp.

Its probably patented tho so only china can do it... which arent all the coils made there anyways?

But it probably wouldnt work due to extra mass and stuff. Heat up times would increase maybe? It would be cool if this shield was floating like some of those magnetic things u can find online. But thats over engineered and require strong magnets... and probably wouldnt work either as it could slip out... probably the only way is to secure the sheild on the handle and not have anything from the showerhead and coil connected to it.

Was also wondering if one of the layers between the showerhead and wood was mesh before a solid sheet of titanium or a series of 2 different micron meshes. The titanium sheet could be wavy or zig zaggy (or the wood has slots) so it connects to the wood in certain areas and allows for it to cool down or heat to raise.

I've have been working for 2 months strait almost. Damn it feels good be a gangster [of worthless c-notes that is].

This man needs a break from business to relax and play. Today is that day! I've got the next 3 weeks off before its back to climbing cold steel and rigging.

In the meantime....you knowz howz I do'z it! No little bishes in my squad and I've also got that THC-A crystalline on deck with everything else pictured 99.8% indica heaven! I'll be reviewing the strains a bit too, but mostly it's all about warming my girl back up so daddy is happy. So to you FlowerPot I say lets turn the lights down low, the heat up to hot and music on. It's sweet sweet lovin time and the doors locked baby!

Oh and I'm feeling like it's about time for a new video too. What do ya think!

Today was my maiden voyage.

Scooped the fp and sh on bf after being a long time reader of these forums. Had to wait for my glass from CCC but I just had to come spread love.

This thing is incredible. Almost makes grinders obsolete. Almost (need one for the mighty I guess).

600 is perfect. Absolutely perfect. Capped for whole nug, flip n rip, then split, rinse n repeat.

I'm impressed. It exceeds the hype because it's just so masterful! Best black Friday scoop ever.

(How do I upload photos from my phone? Does it have to be hyperlink only?) :sherlock:

So I didn't give it all to her the first time around here tonight since our last time together. ;) So instead I had 2 very small sized loads of Afghan Skunk.

Boom! Just like the sting of receiving a backhand from father time I was blasted back to that first day the FP did what it did. Excel with excellence! With this feeling and memory still stoked inside me now I kick my feet up, smiling and happy that I've gotten to be part of this journey and shared experience with you all. Long live my Flowernaughts... I'll see you in space soon everyone, cheers!

I’m just totally in shock as to how easy this thing is to totally white wall a water piece is. Seriously this thing is so easy to use. To load, unload and the draw restriction is nonexistent. I’m not sure I would want to change a goddamn thing about this setup. If I had one gripe it would be that I didn’t get in on this way earlier.

Okay, so I'm settled on this being my first VAS symptom of 2018. Looking at the website and I'm a wee bit confused as to what one needs for this turkey.

First, I know I need the shower head. Or the wrap around, but my interest is in the former.

Second, I think I need a bowl. On this the website could be more helpful as I am not sure the differences between the panhead or shovel head bowls, and the other bowls that they offer. Are there different features between them, pros or cons? The descriptions, in my view, leave a little to be desired. There are the other bowls as well, which I gather are just older versions?

NewVape should look at making their item listings 'inclusive and offer the user the chance to configure their purchase and match the bowls, heads, carb caps and all of that in one stop. I think dnail' s website for the Halo is a good model for this. Their product descriptions are more in depth and they allow for configuration options listing prices 'as low as' for the base purchase. I'm not business analyst marketing wizard but I don't think it takes a Duke MBA to see that this would probably cost less for the company than the impulse purchases it would enable, as well as the time in email correspondence that can be lessened.

Tl;Dr- is the pan or shovel head better? What else needs to be purchased at the outset. I wish NewVape took a page from Dnail's website.

@Slagzord you need a bowl for sure, I am using the OGFP and it works just fine. If you're concerned with bowls sticking, the adjustabowls will fix that issue. As to shovel vs panhead, I think it's aesthetics for the most part.

Starter kit if you need an enail - https://www.newvape.com/flowerpot-w-showerhead-starter-kit

Otherwise, if you already have an enail with 20mm wraparound coil, Showerhead set - https://www.newvape.com/showerhead-combo-20mm-2
and bowl of your choice, that's it. You'll need a stand, either build one or buy one. I built one and it works fine.

Nice....very nice. Glad you got some time off.

You a rigger or a steel erection guy? Hard work and not something for me (I can fly a plane upside down at any altitude and its no problem, put me on a ladder and I pee myself like a little girl at a One Dimension concert! haha).

Cheers

It took me a couple hours of research to figure everything out.
Shovel and panhead are simply different artistical designs on the same function from my understanding. It took a LOT of looking around to figure that out... that shouldn't have been that much effort
Consider getting the loading tool with the starter kit since it's not included.

any dispersion of mass will function differently... but once it evens out and stabilizes... it shouldn't function much differently. I guess you could consider the effect of air flow and heat sinking to the different designs and how it's retained...

most people don't pre-season their bowl with the heater attached though... so the thin walls of the shovelhead with the heat retaining ring would or might perform differently. It might heat up faster.

But there's going to be different opinions on this. I do like how the Panhead looked.

You could have saved yourself some time and read through the past few pages of the thread , we discussed it a few times but never the less , glad you found the info you were looking for.

this would be a significant factor if we needed conduction. the real beauty of this system is that you can get complete extraction with convection. Changing the bowl or your rig, etc does affect your performance but you can just dial it in on the PID.

I also love how the Panhead looks.
