Damn!!! I fuckin love this little vape! I loved carrying a hitter and hitterbox around. Now I can do that with a vaporizer boom! I'm very impressed with my m. Huge rips and so little material :)

I am not surprised to see the vapcap up your alley! Check out the induction heaters that @Pipes has designed if you want to add even another dimension to your cap.

My new idea of the ideal party vape is 1 induction heater and 4 vapcaps. Many people fear the butane (myself included prior to the vapcap).

Now everyone's hit is a green hit!

Proud owner of an M thanks to the latest sale. THANKS @duff!!

Former dugout/one hitter user(when I was a nasty lil combuster) like I have noticed many others mention. This is just such a fun way for me to medicate after not using a one hitter for so long. Not to mention I have kinda neglected flower medicating in favor of concentrates the last few years, so it was a great way for me to get intimate with flower again. Enjoying my M with some (lab tested...HOLY FUCK...@35.12% thc!!) Jabberwocky, which is Lucky Charms X Bio-Diesel.

Felt I was missing out on the benefit of medicating with flower, and I can see the M, helping to right that travesty for me lol.

Initial thoughts:

Ease of use/Learning curve--9.5/10 ...only thing that may take a tiny bit of time is finding your sweetspot for heating the cap. I think a vape novice could pick this up and use it properly in no time at all.

Quality of vapor/Taste--9/10 ...immense flavor the first 2-3 rips, gives way to familiar popcorn taste eventually, like all vapes I have used do when trying to extract all the goodness from your meds. From personal experience, there are still terpenes/flavors you can get at high temps that you won't taste at lower temps. Downer being, you get that popcorny taste, which I don't mind. For me, I'm done with a cap, or any vape bowl, when I no longer see visible vapor upon exhale.

Build/design--9.9/10 ..."Why didn't I think of this?"/"Hey this reminds me of my one hitter I loved back in the day." Spin your M holding it by the mouthpiece end, with the cap off, and I dare you not to get mesmerized by the stainless steel tip. Not to mention all the other great looking DynaVap gear.

Extraction--9.5/10 ...even, deep, deep, dark chocolate abv...Medicated as Fuck

Durability--9.5/10 ...only cause it feels like you possibly could smush/deform the cap. Not 100% sure of this, but I am def not going to try to see if you could.

Price--10/10 ...For the price of an average eighth in the US(non-legal states), you get a great portable, customizable vape that seems like it will last a long time and will also pay for itself in no time at all.

The Doob Tube is a great tool for the VapCap, it can be used as a mini-dugout.

Turn your Doob Tube upside down and shake it a couple times:
Turn it sideways:
Open it slowly, like this, to avoid spillage:
Ready to load your VapCap:
Mash that sucker in there while twisting a few times:
Heat to the click and enjoy!!!

beautifully said (and shown) - and like most things got me thinking.

Many of us fell in love with the 'Cap because we were already in love with the dugout/one-hitter combo (of which I am one), and I'm sure many of us load up just the way you've shown. Many of us of us also DO NOT use the one-hitter load, those who tear off tiny nugs come to mind, and those like me who run with a looser load.

Seems inevitable that we'd not all be smoking the same weight/density, so this would account for the wide range of ritual and report that we get from our membership; for perspective, there are ~22 bowls the weight I use in a gram - if I consumed 7 bowls a day (only via 'Cap for the exercise) it would take me 3 days to get thru that gram. If that was my normal rate of use, a half-z would last 6 weeks.

Any opinions from those who do it a la Vapor_Eyes?

Definitely stickers, they are just quite thin

Thanks, I'll use that!

I very rarely use my Stash the same way I used to use dugouts... but sometimes it's handy to have an all self contained unit. More often I will grind a nug or two and leave the grinder full for a few days while I use my VapCap. I like to pack loose too, so mashing the VapCap into the Stash or even a doob tube is not my preferred method. One thing is for sure, my consumption was probably split in half when I got this device. I actually had to buy those humidity packs for storage of my flower in a CVault because a 1/4oz can last me an entire month. Used to be twice that even after I was using other vapes. This thing is just so amazingly efficient.

Just got my titanium omnivap, loving it so far! Seriously impressed.

Have one question/concern:
Is it normal for the exterior of the titanium tip to become discolored from heat?

Im not referring to the stainless cap- Im referring to the titanium tip that you pack, that the cap slips over.

After a few days of heavy use, Im already seeing that the outside of the tip has become a more yellow/golden color.

Is this typical? Do I need to do something differently? Is there a way to clean it? Ive only been using a single flame torch lighter, I haven't been aggressively heating it at all.

thanks!

Just a follow up- I just gave the exterior of the ti tip a thorough cleaning with alcohol and a toothbrush and ALL of the discolored buildup easily came right off. It looks brand new again and it hits much more smoothly. I will def be staying on top of cleaning the tip in the future. Huge difference.

Just grabbed my green envelope out of the mailbox. All beautiful as expected.

BUT, something I don't think has been mentioned that all should be aware of. Can't believe everyone forgot (or I missed it!)

CLEAN YOUR VCs BEFORE USE!!! Most (all?) components are now made in DV shop, and am guessing they were cranking them out to get ready for sale (and maybe some since). You may find tooling oil or even small pieces of metal inside.

No worries as long as you clean. Use ISO to remove any oils, then rinse well to remove ISO. Don't let o-rings sit in ISO for too long (more than a couple minutes). I use grain alcohol instead of ISO, but ISO should be fine (91% better than 70%).

I had a handful come in, so did it like this. Disassembled all new vapes and threw parts into an old plastic butter tin. Poured in alcohol just enough to cover (I use old stuff because not saving for reuse with tooling oil possible). Shake a bit. Let sit for a couple minutes. Shake again for a minute - at least. Dump alcohol. Run hottest water I can get out of tap over it, letting overflow and dumping a few times. Fill with hot water, shake, repeat a few times.

Make sure you get all alcohol out, so you don't have a surprise fire when you heat!

Dump all water and blow through all components to dry as much as possible. Stand components (tips and bodies) up on paper towel, and leave other pieces (condensers & caps) on paper towel. Let sit for 1/2 hour or so, and blow through again to be sure dry. Can also reassemble sooner and do dry run with heat to dry out. Q-tips can help with drying. If you pull most of the cotton off one end, it should easily go through a condenser.

DO NOT USE ALCOHOL ON WOOD! This includes bodies/stems & MPs. They should be clean and won't have any tooling oil or metal pieces. If you find sawdust inside, swipe out with a dry Q-tip.

EDIT: THANKS @MinnBobber for Dawn dish washing liquid post below. Remember now that you re-posted, and had wanted to try this myself next time (this time :)), but forgot. Will have to try to remember next time.

Slightly different advice.

.........................................................................
I've experienced black gunk out of many brand new vapes. Usually it is machining oil, from when parts were manufactured.
My new M had enough to be noticeable on a Q-tip. I partially disassembled, down to pieces but left O-rings on and washed in Dawn dish soap after Q-tipping. Thorough rinses and then coconut oil on O-rings and metal lips that O-rings hit. Gently re-assembled with hemp filter and a second small homemade screen and good to go.

Gunk in a new vape? I find this to be "the vape is half full" as it might not be there in a perfect world BUT cleaning any new vape gives me the reason to get to know it right away.
................................................................................................................................................

I much prefer least harmful cleaning (VS alcohol) so use Dawn dish soap as that works fine to get out any machining oil etc.
Even most recent order of Ti Woody XLS blackened the tip of a Q-tip, looked like machining oil.

All new vapes should be cleaned as a precaution and as a "get acquainted session" IMO

I concur....practically my same routine, with the addition of dish soap after the hot water rinse. Sort of a combi for @flotntoke and @MinnBobber. Finish off with a couple of dry, empty heat cycles. Two of the M's (plus triple torches) heading out to friends this evening.

Also, the new Omn XL is a real treat, aesthetically and functionally. Hits hard, hits cool, beautiful to hold and behold.

I feel like I'm in bizarro world sometimes with the VapCap. My experiences vary a lot from most of what I read here.

I stuff mine full to the brim, packed tight. For all of my other vapes I don't pack at all, I leave it loose.

Heating can take up to 18 seconds on the first cycle, with a triple torch! I go through butane like a madman lol. Even the quad torch takes about 8 seconds from a cold start. Don't get me started on single jet torches, it must be like how using a Bic feels to the rest of you.

I get 6+ heat cycles per load. The first and last one can be a little light with vapor, but the rest are huge clouds. I tend to lung pull with brief pulses of closing the carb and mouth pulling. Even with the new tip I think the airflow with the carb closed is a bit tight for overall use. With my Omni, about 40-60% closed is my preference, depending on mood.

I can stuff .11 grams in the Gen 3 tip. I've just started using the Gen 4 tip somewhat recently. I left it at maximum depth and it feels bigger than the last tip, but I'm not sure it is. Either way, I will probably reduce it soon, at least one notch, maybe both. I will still pack it that way no matter what, packing full would probably work even better with the minimum depth.

I do sometimes loosely pack, or throw in a nug. Those occasions are pretty rare though.

I used to heat past the second click by two seconds the majority of the time. I find with the new tip I don't feel the need to do that as much. I'm using the same cap I got nearly a year ago, even though I have several unused caps and a couple that are lightly used. Now I usually stop at the second click or maybe just a split second after.

I feel like an artifact of the Mandela effect. Is there anyone else out there like me?

You are so right. I always wash then soak my new ecig tanks in Dawn before I use them and haven't had any trace of oil afterwards.

Ordered my M, etc last Saturday and am anxiously awaiting a shipping notice.

Think I like your method with both ISO & Dawn the best.

All cleaned up here now, and delivering one (maybe two) "M"s this evening. One is expected, but anxious to surprise someone with the other. Cheap (but full) lighters for each, too.

Have only played with it for a second, but LOVE the DV/Honest dual torch. She's gonna be in the VC pouch for a while I hope!

Really like the new T-shirt, too. I have one of the older ones (that I like and wear often), but it's a little too "weedy" for me to wear a lot of places (usually while holding in non legal places). This one much more subtle. Thinner too, but great for me in summertime!

Favorite part of my order? The new super textured Ti body!!! Put it on the OMNI and is uber sexy! Feels so great in hand, too.

All differences sound about right to me based on how you're loading. May have to try some of this myself soon, but my tech is much more like most of what you read here.

Yep, my omnivap arrived still smelling like machine oil etc. A through cleaning is def needed. The discoloration on the tip Ive been referring to appeared after heavy use.

Kind of curious, how are people cleaning the wood vapcaps? Is that an issue or not so much?

Wood not really a problem. No machining (or tooling oil or metal bits). At most is a little sawdust which is usually easily blown out, or swabbed out with Q-tip.

Tip and condenser are usually all that need cleaning after use. Only fresh intake air until it gets to tip and condenser, so stays clean. Best to buff up and use some type of wood wax on outside periodically. Typical wood maintenance.

Got my order yesterday. 2 M's and a beautiful ziricote dynastash ER. Now each of my caps have their own home. It easily fits my Omnivong with one of Eds TNT vong bodies on it which my original all rounded bubinga stash did not.
Did a final sand with 500,1000, and then 1200 grit sandpaper on the stash and then my walnut oil and beeswax finish. I'll get pics posted soon but it's Friday and I'm off now so I'm getting drunk and stoned right now:rockon:

I immediately modified the two M's by taking my tiny round file and filing out the ends of the tips where the channels are. Simple to do and makes it match the airflow design of the Ti tips.
I modded my wife's this way a while back and she and her friend are able to get better hits. One of the Ms is actually for my wife's friend. Spreading the vapcap love:D

The other M? I may just have to keep it:razz:

I use a cutdown mighty liquid pad. Works fabulously. I too do not like the hemp fiber for concentrate use. My first one was 1/4 of the mesh pad shaped with pliers but it proved too thin. The next one I made was half the pad molded with pliers into a cylinderish shape. Then stuffed into the tip sans screen. I found I didn't even need the screen using that thick piece of mesh. It takes up almost all but the last 1/8" or so. Then I top the concentrate load with a tiny basket screen to keep the load off the inside of the cap. Hits just keep on coming.

Just had a sesh with a little concentrate using dynavap's degummed hemp fiber. The degummed hemp fiber has a strong and unpleasant odor and taste so I tossed that smelly shit.

Any medium for concentrates should be odor and taste free in my personal opinion. Even organic cotton is a much better option than degummed hemp for these reasons. So I have torn apart a volcano liquid pad and formed a couple of screens to fit the Ti tip. Have not tried it yet but I have little doubt it will be better than the degummed hemp fiber. I am surprised dynavap even sells this sub-par product.

:puke:

hmmmmmm..... I've had good luck with DV hemp fiber. Like it much better than cotton (which tastes like band-aids smell, IMO). Maybe a different batch (have had for year or so I think), or maybe just different tastes and sensitivities? What I have doesn't really smell at all - though it does impart a bit of a taste, but just tastes like crappy commercial brick weed - and not too much at that. Not enough to really even taste with some good goo mixed into it. Mostly have tasted it when testing with just a small drop of trate in it. Will have to do another taste test soon.

I even prefer it to messing with a volcano pad I tore up a few years ago (to use in nano) - or the mesh I've used that came from RBT (pretty much shredded screen material).

Maybe just another different strokes for different folks? Maybe a different batch? Maybe it sat around shop not tightly sealed and picked up some smell flavor? Could definitely see it doing this.

I ordered 2 more M's from the last sale, they arrived yesterday. Anyway i have noticed that both of these have considerably more airflow than the previous 3 i have purchased (1 of mine and 2 for friends). All 3 previous purchased M's i have had to mod by deepening the grooves on the tip with a file. Maybe its mfgr'ing tolerances, maybe its a design change/modification.. but i like how the newer ones hit vs the older.

I might have to compare condenser lengths and other components to see if i can find any differences.

I have been putting a piece of cotton about halfway down my condenser, really smoothes out the hit, and makes the vapcap the least harsh on my lungs of any of my vapes. I change the cotton daily. I probably could go longer between but I prefer not to.
