Krazy, just so you know...there is NO MODs needed to turn your Q into a wand....all you gotta do is flip it over. You do need to put a screen in the downstem of you 18mm piece though. If you want to try it I have a picture somewhere on my computer...email if you need assistance. You really should try it at least once.

In this configuration, the EQ heating element is much much closer to the herb. You'll be very impressed with the way it hits, I think. The only reason I am not using my Q much anymore is because I am poor and my WDZ makes the herb-age go much further.

Sorry to stray off topic.

@ Pappy. In response to my statement being hyperbole if you refer to the post above yours I feel i cleared up my view #1685 01-27-2011 08:40:04 pm.

As an E user have ran through countless elbows in conjunction with glass. I actually later always would pack the cyclone bowl and the elbow at the same time which i still my favorite E packing method. I have never attempted to mod my vape into a heat wand though. This worked to my satisfaction for a while, i also enjoyed the novelty of forced air into glass once in a while. i am not disrespecting the E. The E was the first vape that got me completely off combustion for more then just a day or two.

With my S and E though here to compare, I simply will NEVER use my E for glass hits again.
Appreciate the spirit and content of your clarification. Thanks! :)

No problem Pappy. Glad we can make nice. I am currently downstairs in the basement on the couch watching the boob tube and using the Extreme. After using the PD so many times, I really can milk the whip with such a large herb pack. Got a couple of drinks in me, and just got home. Good old Tom Servo by my side light a flashing.

I am a collector of vapes of sorts. I am hoping that the Cloud becomes my new true daily driver, in conjunction with the PD. I know it wont make my S obsolete though, as I can use it during a power outage, camping, zombie Apocalypse ect. Hits like a champ, no plug required.

I am wondering if the VXC will make my VHW sit. I can't be certain. I do assume when I use the VHW it will be alone, as though the VHW gives the best tasting hits I have tried on any vape to date, a wand w/ a BM Bowl is very difficult for a novice to use. I personally still haven't found a single girl who was able to successfully use the VHW, and although a daily factor in medication for me, I use it most often by myself. S and E come out with groups and parties, and both have a much higher ease of use. Once again, I hope the Cloud to fill this roll.

OK, too much ramble, R2VAPE2 awaits.

Anyone going to Hempcon today? I'll be walking the floor; if anyone sees me in a Vapexhale shirt, please come up and say hi! Look forward to meeting some FC members today.

Is there a pic of the VXH Hydratree?

I guess I was under the incorrect impression that it was going to be recessed. i.e. the pic on your site: http://www.vapexhale.com/index.php?...hydratree-version-10&catid=4:general&Itemid=6

It does say Glassmonkey Hydratree though... -- so perhaps I was mistaken?

That is one of the VXL branded HydraTrees that GlassMonkey made. It is an 8 arm tree that he has been working on. The other HydraTree you have been seeing is made by Vertigo who makes a 10-arm version that is reenforced to the bottom of the tube. They took different methodologies when creating their tube, some prefer the looks of Vertigo's while others like GlassMonkey's. Regardless whether the joint is recessed or exposed, we'll be making something that will help them balance better.

Yea, I was hoping to meet a fellow bay area manufacturer in person. There was actually another guy in the VaporStore booth that looked like a hippy so I naturally assumed it would be you, felt pretty lame when he said, "who is Hipi?"

I-girl was nice enough to introduce herself and let me know that you would be in later in the day. I guess you showed up a little after I left, I was having trouble walking due to a swollen foot I got while training. I guess I'll have to wait til the next tradeshow.

That guy must have been extremely unaware lol. Well I'd look forward to seeing you at the next bay area convention I'm at. I'll let you know.

SM, in the future could there be any possibility for a hard wood cover for the unit? It would feel great and the contrast of the aluminum part underneath would make a really beautiful unit. Don't know if it is possible but food for thought if it is.

actually it would be highly possible with the wood CNC machines they have out now. would take a little bit of hand sanding and finishing but do-able non-the-least

How easy is the Vapexhale to clean from the inside?
I've recently opened up my V-tower to clean it from the inside, however this is nearly impossible because of the small hole in the heating element.
If I understand correctly the heating element is not in the air path, so no dust is able to get on that, so no need to clean that?

Nothing is impossible, definitely something worth considering!

You are absolutely correct, The air path is 100% separated from the heating element and the electronics. At this stage of the game, I don't see there being any reason people would have to open up their Cloud to clean the internals. Even if there were some dust to collect in the glass tube, the water in the HydraTree should filter it out. I'll post up a picture shortly that will show the actual air path in the Cloud.

I was poking around the Vapor Lounge and stumbled upon a thread where FC members were trying to meet up in person and test out vapes.

I was curious how many members were in the SF Bay Area (or general vicinity) that would be willing to make a drive to test out the Cloud.

If there is a decent amount of people that want to do this, I'll start scoping out venues that would allow this. The main issue here, since we would be demoing the product, is that people that would like to participate would have to be MMJ card holders.

Let me know if this is interesting to anyone.

SM55.....I know what you said about the Sov trees being made by Steve and then assembled by TAFKAGM (I think I got that right?) Will these tubes have a Sovereignty label on them?

I'm still discussing with him to see what he is comfortable with while still keeping the aesthetics of the tube. One idea we had was "Tree by Sovereignty" but aesthetically it didn't look as good on the tube itself than just having a logo. We might include some tag with each one that authenticates that the tree inside the HydraTube is indeed a Sovereignty tree. Sorry for the non-definitive answer but its something we are still working through.

I appreciate the response and candor SM55. I completely understand he might not want the full logo on the tube as he didnt make the entire tube. Might be cool if he could put the label on top of each tree....right across the dome. Would look cool looking down the tube at it.....just a thought. I am sure you guys will figure out something that works for everyone. I cant wait til this thing drops. How long till we see a Peyote Pillar Hydratube? :o

I live in San Francisco, am a MMJ patient and would really like to try one of these out. (I'm currentlyu on the waitlist.)

The two cannabis clubs that I know about with vaporizors are Sparc and the Vapor Lounge. (I'm sure that there are otehrs, though.) I haven't been to the Vapor Lounge, but I know that Sparc often has events with some of their suppliers (giving away samples of edibles and filling free 'cano balloons for customers.) I would think that they would probably be open to it.

I hope the tubes have no markings at all on them. Or, very subtle, discreet label. Thats just me, though. I don't lake labels and colors :)

I dont like lables or colors on my glass either.....the Sovereignty label is just sooooooo classy.

I agree about liking glass without logos, but don't want to discredit a talented artist or get ripped off on a second-hand piece either.

Maybe something subtle like a small marble of glass located in different places (or a cluster/pattern of tiny marbles) to indicate the individuals involved in the construction? (ie "Holy Shit! The glass marble is 2" from the bottom! That IS a real sovriengty tree & tube hydratube! Mine is sovriengty tree only, as you see from the marble that is 3" from the base"). ;)

VXC could even send out an identification key/guide with each unit (which may become more of an ordering/collect-them-all catalogue for some).

Yeah even a sandblasted Sovereignty logo would look sweet az, and it wouldn't take away from the glass or its artist ;)
