I agree, I spin one direction and also avoid heating past the click, hell I've nearly burned a load waiting to hear the click, just from heating it too low on the cap. I guess it's a personal preference, and maybe there is a little variance in how consistent the click is from one unit to the next. I know if I heat my glass unit the way I heat the M it would burn for sure, since the heat conduction is completely different with the glass model.

On a side note, I had to take a break from melting glass for a bit, because my left hand started having some arthritic issues, and I was having a hard time spinning glass with my left hand. Since getting the DV, and spinning it regularly with my left hand a few seconds at a time through out the day, it has slowly strengthened the weak muscles and is giving me more range of motion. Like PT for my hand while I medicate

I'm getting my grip back, so I am going to start picking up glass again soon. It was a bummer to have to take a break. Now I'm just trying to get my head back in the game... maybe a custom DV stem is in order.

you could bring your own torch, i would just carry a cigar a justification.

also you can usually find a torch lighter wherever you travel for about $7-$10.

the reason i didn't advise is because i believe the OP was traveling internationally and i'm not too keen on their lighter policy...as long as its "allowed" you should be fine.

you can use a Bic and the soot SHOULD come off, but a torch is much more precise and better overall by nature.

@phattpiggie that is a lovely stem (as usual)! glad you found your cap too...i'm definitely starting to believe in the magic and i'm a natural skeptic

just for science's sake...the magnet i have that works has a 3 pound force as well and does pull the cap off the majority of the time and is still easy to free the cap from the magnet...

has anyone tried 10LB force magnets to confirm their 'smoothness of function'?

Purchase confusion:
I have some extra bodies. It looks like it would actually be less money to buy a glass vapcap s or tiglassy than to buy a ti tip and cap. Am I missing something?

speaking of using a bic to heat the DV, I was curious, but didn't want to get soot all over my cap, and I remembered a previous post about somebody using a candle, suspending the DV a few inches over the flame, so I tried it out, using a bic, I just made sure there was about an inch of air between the tip of the flame and the cap, and I didn't get any soot. It just took a few more seconds to click than I am used to with a torch. I didn't time it out, but repeated the process a few times over getting decent amounts of vapor between clicks. So it is possible to use yellow flame and not get soot all over the cap, just keep the cap out of the flame.

I use doob tubes when I'm not using my Dynastash. The doob tube caps are larger than VapCap tips. That means you can stuff your VapCap into the doob tube cap to fill it, like a mini Dynastash.

Turn your doob tube upside down and shake it to fill the cap, then turn it horizontal and carefully open it up and you will have a cap full of material. It's harder to explain the process than it is to actually do it. Once the doob tube cap is filled just pack your VapCap tip in there to fill it, a twisting motion can help.

I think i can t stand it anymore and have to order a Vapcap to become a part of this thread and to know what all the Fuss is about.... :-)

I never tried a Vapcap, i like the Vapman and also own a Mighty, GH and Volcano.

Should i get the M to test the Waters or should i just say f... it, order an Omni TI and be done with it?

I am ordering from Europe and would order from a retailer btw...

Surely nobody can answer this to me, but i guess you girls and guys are quite good in talking me into spending some money? Anything else to think of?

Hi Doktor Dub, give the M a try first! It's good enough to explore how this stuff is working. After your learning courve you will love it. And the M is the best VC on the go. Not too expensive in case of lost and durable under all circumstances - you will survive yourself ;-)

Pete, very nice pieces! Would look for titanium condenser and anodize them by heat to multi colours. Think your glass stem combined with such a couloured condenser would give a beautiful pairing.

Do you intent to produce your stems in a larger amount for sale?

Welcome to the family! Order the Omni Ti and indulge in design excellence :clap:

You should probably consider that the vapcap has the smallest chamber out of your device arsenal. If that's ok, then go of it!

Get used to it a little more and feather as necessary. It really depends on what you're looking for and how you want to use your VC. Very versatile! I like mine closed for the most part, but like to clear it out with port open whether dry or through water. And, this even changes depending on time of day, what else I have going on, and how heavy of a buzz I'm going for.

Gotta watch out for that. Nylon blends burn a lot faster than jeans! Almost did the same a couple weeks ago, but at last minute remembered I wasn't wearing denim. Something for all of us to keep in mind as weather gets warmer. Thanks for sharing so I can hopefully learn from your lesson.

Hogni ... I've never thought about that. A really must try challenge. And yes, I'm trying to make as many of these as possible. My kiln is not that big so I make small batches at a time. Keep a look out in the DIY section where I will post a thread about it.

I love my OG glass vapcap, but I got the M 3 days ago and I've having a weird issue. Don't get me wrong, it works tremendously, flavor way better than on the OG, but it makes me cough a LOT. Maybe there's a reason I'm overlooking, i really don't know, but it just gives me a really uncomfortable tickle in my throat, even the low temp hits in the beginning of the cycle. Anyone else had this issue?

Did you clean your new Vapcap before useing? This should be done with every new Vape, preferable with ISO.

this is one of the few cons that i have experienced with my M. personally, i found the M to be a bit harsh and generally like to pair with a small water piece. it's definitely manageable to hit dry for me but to get those really big hits i definitely prefer it to be paired with water. despite this, i still use my M basically daiy, with and without water filtration.

Had my M for a week and I'm absolutely loving it. My extreme Q hasn't been turned on in days. It reminds me so much of smoking a joint. The only trouble I've found is its so easy to use my consumption has slightly gone up as I want to use it as much as possible!

Has anyone thought of or got any experience with paint infilling? I've seen it done many times to personalise golf clubs but wondered if it would work on the M and what sort of paint would be required for that little touch of individuality!

The M and Omnivap made me sell all my other vapes. I never used them anymore.
