I get you disagree with my perspective and I respect that, but I`m used to paying my own way just like everybody else...same rules all around.
I see it as inherent defect and given it`s within the 2 year warranty I see it as their responsibility...I`m not looking for a free ride...That`s not how...
Thanks @OF for weighing in with a lot of very useful info. I know there are some good plastic repair epoxies available here in Canada, so I should be able to find a good one if Arizer drops the ball on this.
Did you keep the original screws without adding washers ect?
Well yeah....this is more...
I disagree...Arizer offers a 2 year warranty against any defect in manufacture. This is clearly a defect in manufacture and therefore a warranty issue. If that warranty is not honored then it is not worth the paper it was written on.
I`ll purchase from a manufacturer that actually honors that...
Thanks @CarolKing my concern is that it seems to be connected to the front panel as well and is not a stand alone piece...
I`m looking at it and thinking the structural integrity of the Solo may be compromised as the base plate continues to break apart...
So I`m not entirely convinced that this...
Thanks @lookhigh I googled 2pac and couldn't find much...can you give me a little more detail on the glue...
I did send Arizer customer service an email so hopefully they will respond responsibly. As much as I love my 2 Solos I`m extremely careful with how I treat things (in general), so it`s...
Thanks @Buzzbomb Almighty, that`s the one but I was hoping for a lot more detail on where to get the right hardware and what the threading is on the screws. Are people re-building with epoxy to some degree (which I'd prefer to avoid since intake holes on the bottom could be pulling in epoxy...
Welcome, lots of great Solo info here!
I use domed screens in my Solo stems and they hold ~ 3/16 of a gram. I get about 6-9 very long hits off of that amount...I`m not cheap...I`m thrifty!
I`m in Canada and one of the group`s sponsors is in Canada: PlanetVape.ca...They are great to deal with and I save huge amounts on dollar exchange ect.
EDIT: Sorry I mis-spoke, that`s the universal adapter I believe...I thought you were looking at one of the Fastech links...
I`ll try to take this down in a few minutes...I`ve just confused the issue by answering a question for @OF...something he will always do a much better job of than I...
