I don't think the free battery is still offered for present delays. I think that was for early preorders (with some stated cutoff date). The answer is buried in one of the gh threads somewhere...

yeah when I ordered in March I though August but worst case it would be December .. I guess my worse case will happen but at least maybe not waited a whole year

How is it considered successful to miss your estimated shipping numbers?If I have to produce 100 widgets a month, and I only did 75, my boss would hardly consider that success. But kudos to them for staying in business, and best of luck to all the pre-orders.
Got to love this company's mentality. I guess it could have been worse?? Guess almost hitting the goal is better than being blown out of the water.

Congrats! Can you share your preorder date? I'm anxiously waiting to see some activity with June 2015 preorders.Got my tracking number today. Says be here the 9th. Hoping it will be here before 1:00 on the 9th going to the Dead and Company show in alpine valley WI.

I bought three hoppers with three separate orders in March 2016...first order was March 2nd and the other two orders were placed 9 days later. What's interesting to note is that they've all been pushed back each time but the latest update kept the March 2nd order at July 16 but pushed the other two orders to Aug 16. Not sure if this means anything or not but it seems to suggest that they have a very specific monthly target range for shipping. Of course I'll probably still be waiting for months beyond Aug but thought the split estimates were interesting given they're only 9 days apart.

Thx @lovecrush ! I'm a June 4, 2015 preorder and remembered we were close. Hopefully I'll be getting my address confirmation email soon too. Maybe this week?
Hopefully with a handful of new employees they should be able to knock out more than 2k hoppers this month.
Hmmm, I seem to recall a personal forecast a few months back on how many hoppers HL has sold. My numbers may have been a bit high, but I don't think I was too far off.....
I wonder how many hoppers are "in the wild" right now.... 5000? 6000?

I thought you had guessed 60,000 at one point. Am I remembering too many zeros?
My personal estimates are still around 30,000 total sold units (both customer and retailers/distributors)
Again, it's purely conjecture based on what I've seen and my own traffic/sales data
