Hmmm I don't think so. I've gone two consecutive 5 minute sessions at 400ish and haven't had a hot mouthpiece.

Mines starting to get warm. My second session last night of concentrates at 430 got hot for sure. Not by the lips but down a couple inches closer to the base

I don't use the bottom at all. Some people fill the bottom of the ELB and put it in the chamber, it's supposed to make it more convective, improving flavor. I'll try it out sooner or later. It seems like more trouble than it's worth to me.

Personally i find the ELB's make it easier to load bowls than straight into the oven. Even with a card, paper, doob tube or similar i would always get some stuck around the top of the bowl down in there where the mouthpiece locks. Its much easier and cleaner to preload some ELB's and just swap them on keeps the top hat screen cleaner as well as i rotate between my 4x ELB's. Much easier imo to brush off excess material from an elb than try and use a pokey tool to get the peices that always fall under the O ring and get stuck in the corners of the mouthpeice joint.

With this method the ELB's stay attached to the mouthpeice and can be removed from the entire oven. I break my sessions up sometimes to 4 min before the auto shut off. This way your material is not cooking in the oven while off and cooling, preserving a parlty vaped bowls flavor. When you are done with your session just take the screen out, no poking, scraping, brushing or banging to get spent material out. Then if you want another bowl pop in the next screen that you already packed and your into the next session before the unit is even cool preserveing battery.

@Milkytime Have you tried using the concentrate container they give you? Just remove the cotton and finely grind it up and put it into the pod, actually works pretty good.
I find I have to crunch the elb's into the oven of the cfx, which I wasn't to keen on doing so I just use the top hat of the elb instead.

I had to really shape 1 out of 4 the others went in pretty easy. And i keep meaning to try out the concentrate pod with dry herb, ill have to see how i like that.

I find the doob tubes to work well for loading. No matter how I load, I put my thumb over the top of the oven and blow any extra particles out from around the top of the bowl. If there are any large particles I will nudge them in first but that rarely occurs anymore.

I really like how with your method the whole ELB comes out of the oven when you remove the mouthpiece. I hadn't considered that at all. That gives me a compelling reason to use the bottom screens. It's a pretty big advantage over other session style vapes.

Thanks for the response!

Just got my CF. So hyped to use it! It's way smaller than I thought. Heats up in less than 20!

Edit: Nevermind it's now getting cooler faster. Holy shit this thing rips. I'm cruising at a solid [8] feeling greater than ever. The CF is fucking fantastic. I couldn't have asked for a better 1st impression. Oh my god I'm amazed. This is incredible. It's way more portable than I thought!

Full Review of the CF

Well ladies and gents, all I can say is wow. The CF by Boundless really performs.

Size: It's much smaller than you think if you haven't held one in your hand. It the PERFECT size, with little to no bulge in all of my pockets (keep in mind I don't where jeans). Very easy to conceal or hide I'd say. It's obviously not as discrete as a Pax but it still does a good job.

Feel: I like the soft rubber outside. The texture is very comfortable, always staying in the grip of my hand. NEVER slips. The plastic, although seems cheap (especially before I used it in person) isn't bad. It's higher quality plastic and doesn't mark or scratch easily. You barely notice the gloss, as it's nearly masked by all of the rubber. I really enjoy holding it.

Efficiency: Holy shit. Coming from a Flowermate mini, this thing keeps chuggin' on the tiniest loads ever. Consistently even cooking, it's amazing. 0.15? Not a problem. 0.1? Piece of cake. 0.05!? Hell yeah. It's always gets the job done perfectly.

Portability/Stealth: Pssh. This thing is definitely stealthy. Easily pocketable. I expected a much bigger device. Again, it's very portable.

Temperatures/Heatup Time: A+, all I need. 20 seconds (on average) and she's chuckin. Sometimes 15 seconds. Oh and switching between temps usually finishes before I take my finger off. Way faster than I thought.
Even though my Flowermate started at 385 and I thought I'd want to use higher temperatures, but the fact that this thing still rips at 355 and 370 is sweet. I feel like I'll only want to stay on the lower temps.

Mouthpiece/Mechanism: I've already gotten used to the mouthpiece. I liked it right off the bat, the wide mouthpiece with a flat top and bottom is pretty comfortable to use and draw from. Seems well built and pretty easy to take apart for cleaning. Easy to swivel on and off and sort of clicks in place to stay in the closed or open position. You can hit it from any direction.
The chamber is absolutely huge for a vaporizer. So much flexibility with how much you want to put in!

Draw resistance: Not too tight but not very free-flowing or crafty-like. I really wish they put more consideration into the air holes on the bottom. There could easily be either more holes or slightly wider ones like on the CFX for a freer draw. That said, it's not that bad. With some screen mods and such it should be taken care of.

The High: Fantastic. Clear as can be, I feel great. I got to an actual [8] in my first session after burnoffs, taking only 6-7 hits at 370. Incredibly relaxed. It lasts super long which is also awesome. No bowl that I'd have to go back to pack another, fuck combustion. It takes well less than a full chamber to get me ripped.

Vapor Quality: Smooth and pleasant. Harsher at 415, but that's expected. Not a harsh vape at all. Really nice vapor. And OH, the clouds that come out of this. Amazing. It's so satisfying to see so much vapor coming out when I exhale. Top notch on cloud production.

Battery Life: 10-15 sessions, depending on the set temperature. A little more than my FM mini, and performance BARELY decreases when on low battery vs a full charge. Simply great. Some people complain about not battery indicator, but I don't mind it not being there. I usually have it mostly charged whenever I go out which is more than enough because it gets me where I want to be in 1-2 sessions!

Group use: A breeze. No instruction needed! Any type of draw gives good results! One 0.1-0.15 bowl with 3 sessions at 355-385 got 4 guys ripped, 3 of them with high tolerances. They were amazed and impressed.

I'll have a separate post on my experiences with the WPA, which also shipped with it for free. Shoutout to puffitup!

TL;DR The CF by Boundless doesn't disappoint. It's stealthy, discrete, very efficient and a joy to use no matter the group size or technique. It still amazes me that I got such a great deal on this beast. You can't beat $110 at puffitup including the WPA. Nearly nothing but positivity with this vaporizer, a true ripper.

How do you like the flavor?

Has anyone successfully bent or modified the EQ bucket screens (not ELBs) to fit on the mouthpiece? That would save me $20 and not having to buy ELBs because it seems much more convenient to have the bucket attached to the mouthpiece

Hey everyone just got my WPA in today and I must say it's pretty damn sweet!!
@Boundless Vape Technology took the time and came out with a proper wpa attachment and it mimics DDave's mod kit for the Extreme Q!!
I was blowing huge clouds out my bubbler with the CFX and I'm really impressed!
Careful though when hitting temps 410° and above... I almost got combustion :|

I guess I will call Boundless today. Filed RMA on website and an email Sunday and no replies to either. I know I stated it was still usable but I am going on vacation in 2 more weeks. :)

I can finally post!

So I have the cfx and I love it but....there's no overheating protection. If you hold power to end session you will see your real current temp. If I set device to 380, I can be vaping anywhere from 382 to 390. If I set it to 430, I've seen as high as 467.

I don't use much inside, so I don't think I combusted anything, but this is very damaging to my throat.

If you try the higher temps, check half way or 3/4 through your session and check your temperature. Is it happening with you guys too?
