Anyone with an Evo use it as a heater? I copied it from Someone on here, so I'm not taking credit, sorry I truely forget who figured that out lol. Evo plus VapCap gave me the best sleep I've had in a while:zzz: think that's my new favorite combo  still think it's crazy that even with something like my Evo this VapCap is finding a great place in my collection
Cheers everyone, have a great day!
Go pens!!

@phattpiggie no worries, our man/woman @Squiby is also helping me out with some screens! Looking forward to trying them out...

I think we're all subconsciously trying to perfect a zombie apocalypse vape, something that will stand the test of time without degrading/ breaking.

My ti-Woody is pretty sturdy, but I reckon my omnivap plus titanium screens will be the perfect indestructible companion vape!

Which is EXACTLY why we need a good supply of titanium screens. ;)

The VapCap is the now and future Vap. :myday:

Now all we need to find is an indestructible Oring and we'll be set!

Oh...and a supply of vapables, of course. :)

Personally I love 40x40 grade 2 titanium screens for herb, 60x60 when using ceramic coils/screen for concentrates
LSUB9hY.jpg

. These are sold by aqualabtechnologies. I bought the 1" screens and cut them down, I could probably cut out 4-5 per screen. They are ever so slightly domed which holds it very firmly without the need of any kind of retaining ring (They have to be cut precisely though). I've been using the first ones I cut out for the last month now, after cleaning they still look brand new.
Bonus live resin shot.

Jeez that live resin looks amazing! What is live resin anyway? I can't get concentrates where I am.

HOLY STONER Bat Man! Are you gonna vape all that?!? :o :o :o

Thanks for the Ti screen options. Is the concentrate screen dimensional? Like, not a flat disc but drum shaped?
http://aqualabtechnologies.com/glass-accessories/smoking-screens/titanium-screen-1-0-60-wire.html Specifically these are the screens I've been using. I have screen/w9tech ceramic disks stacked inside. Still doing a bit of tinkering but so far it has been working fantastic.

I think the worst part was watching it roll in the street. I was able to pull over quickly and I was about 10 feet away but I had to wait for the cars to pass.
It was in the center of the lane and a few cars were just passing by then it started rolling and SPLAT!!!!
The bowl and condenser survived remarkably well considering the size of the truck that ran it over. I also still have the cap itself so I maybe I can just buy a new "body".

Well. That is remarkable, really. I mean, only a thin tube of wood was destroyed.

I am sorry for your loss, that was really crumbly and your stomach must have just dropped when you saw it being run over, especially as you were close to saving it.

On the upside, you get to get another, maybe different body for it.

Even so..What a testament to durability.

With a Ti body, the Omni must surely be the Preppers vape!!

Be careful when tapping your spent load outside the car window, if you lose your grip and drop your Vapcap a Big Ass truck may run it over:cry::cry::cry:.
I've gone through at least 4 Glassy Ti bodies with my last one breaking the other day. Luckily my OV is in the mail and should be arriving tomorrow. I'm hoping it will be more indestructible.

I had a couple of PM's asking exactly how this was put together so I figured I'd just post something here. So this is my 6th revision to my screen/coils setup. I wanted something re-usable, capable of holding lots of oil without burning it, and free of SS to get the best taste possible. This solves most of the issues I've been having, such as leaking/burning. The wire rings are grade 2 titanium wire. They're in place to help wick the oil to the coils, and force the air path through the coils.
My exact, "oil cart" setup. From left to right is how it's assembled. This is right after that live resin was vaped so it's still partly saturated in oil.

Top screen/coil removed.

I generally heat it a second past the click, and 5 seconds or so of breath after the cool down click, to help keep the oil from burning. The taste all the way through is miles ahead of anything else I've tried so far and it's still capable of producing large clouds(Although not quite as large as hemp). It's fine using it horizontally however using it in water tools with the cap facing up can cause a bit of oil to run down the condenser.

I agree, gotta love the modular design. I'm amazed everything else held up so well.

I also have been using the following one for over a year and it also works great. Better than some of the triple torches I've tried.
http://www.amazon.com/Scorch-Torch-Gabon-Single-Lighter/dp/B00DIKAKLS/ref=pd_sim_121_2?ie=UTF8&dpID=41INGtm9CEL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160,160_&refRID=14GCSWK8CJ4DZRB7D6P5
I ordered this lighter and so far I love it. My thumbs are always sore from gaming and long torch sessions get uncomfortable. Also the switch is super easy to press compared to other lighter switches. My only complaint is it doesn't work well upside down (for my daisy), some of the heat seems to go up towards my hand and I can't hold it long. I love the little flip out switch on the bottom to change the flame level.

I bought this lighter and it is awful. It is a triple torch. The flip lid does not open to a large enough angle, certainly shy of 90°, so access to the flame is restricted. My chief complaint is that the side trigger is sooo hard to push down that I virtually need both hands to depress it. I can't hold it down with just my thumb. I have no physical limitations and I consider myself fairly strong. But this thing is just impossible.

I'll look for a scorch torch.

I have an honest double torch that was suggested on here that is perfect.. And the quad is ok just a little to easy to char with if your going for high temps IMO I'm not sure where but if you look back there's an honest double lighter, two small torches with a flip top it works great

Yeah. I ordered that one....waiting for it to arrive.

You know, I am going to end up with 20 different lighters in the quest for a comfortable, functional, easy to operate lighter.....Who knew?

i updated to Vapcap S today hopefully he has more pieces for that option available
it seems like everytime i check a dozen people have gotten some other variation already.

I received my Omnivap today. Haven't given it a go yet but I'm very impressed with the package I recieved. First off, it came with a new lighter, and a case for said lighter. It's a quad flame, and it's very apparent that the build quality is miles ahead of the free lighter I got with my TI Glassy when that first came out.

The omnivap itself is gorgeous. It looks much, much better than it did in pictures when I preordered. It came with the glass body installed and the TI body in a separate tube. Everything was packed well.

I'm already thrilled with my purchase and I haven't even tried the thing yet. I'll report back once I've given it a go, but as always I'm very impressed with George's work.

I'm honestly surprised at how quickly he got these out. After seeing such long lead times for some OTHER high quality vapes where people are literally waiting years for their preorders to be filled, I was not expecting to get my omnivap in a few short months. What a happy surprise!

EDIT:

Hit 1: Cool, tasty vapor. A little light, but that's expected.
Hit 2: I'm a moron and forgot to wait for the cooldown click. I caught myself before I damaged the cap but too late to stop combustion. Don't make my mistake. The good news is, unlike other vapes when I combust with the vapcap I know before I've inhaled any of it, so while I got a nasty smell I didn't actually inhale any smoke.
Hit 3: After a quick clean and reload, I also loosen the screw by the mouthpiece. I take a nice, slow hit and I got fantastic vapor production, better than any hit I've ever gotten with my TI Glassy.

I've already fallen back into the nice routine of using this thing, and I love it.
