I purchased a pack of 4 elb from planet vape for $24 Canadian. These elb all fit tightly and is perfect. The build on it is actually better than the elb's that came with your EVO.

There's a much easier way to keep the Evo on the table. Go to nay arts and crafts store or target or whatever and buy a pack of Velcro pads, sticky adhesive on one side and Velcro on the other. Apply to bottom of Evo and table / tray.

I think one of the draw backs to the EVO is its capacity to fall off the table. I don't want to put Velcro on my wood table to hold it in place. I make sure there's not much drag on the cord. If the EVO fell I'm afraid it wouldnt have a good ending. I'm not sure how it would withstand a fall and I don't want to find out. It's an expensive investment.

Found some awesome shatter I want to try out later it's called just The Purple. I think it's a combination of Mend Purp and Purple Urkle. It's suppose to be an Indica. I usually use an Indica shatter because I save concentrates a few times a week before bed. I don't use them daily.

Happy and a great weekend! Give your mom a hug if she's still alive and tell her that you love her. Appreciate her while she's still around.

I have a silicone baking mat on my table and that helps give the evo more of a grip so it doesn't slid as easily. But I'm still careful about tripping over the evo's cord.

I came across a idea while using my volcano the other night and looking at the fish swimming around in my tank. Please comment on what you may think. The idea was to purchase the arizer extreme q bag system which utilizes a 18mm fitting. Take a 18mm adapter to that bag setup and place on top of your bamboo , use a aquarium air bubble setup which has a tube and valve and attach some tubing that is wide enough to fit the bottom of the bamboo and blow the air up through the bamboo to fill your bag. I don't know if this is safe or will work properly but it was an idea as I sometimes like to fill myself a bag with volcano or when I have guest over .

@grokit
Was it you that posted that EVO aquarium pump to blow a bag?
@HellsWindStaff
I think you have done it too?

Watched an awesome SNL last night. Very political. EVO was spot on used my nail with some shatter then had some flowers too. I fell asleep before SNL was over. Slept all night only waking up once, then fell right back to sleep.

Very good flavor with the shatter as well as with flowers. This beats my Dabbler for shatter and also better than sandwiching between cannabis, I still like to do that. Used my Hydrobomb with water and without. It works well either way.

Yeah I have done this, and it was fun to try as a bit of an evening project, but overall just not all that practical IMO (I also don't really like bags all that much)

I tried it twice, first time the glass joint I had attached to the bag was really really hot after filling the bag.

Second time worked better, but still like I said, other than the novelty and fun setting it up, I would rather just use the tube on it. As @ataxian said, like eating dinner from a trash can

I would implore you to try it if you had the pieces and parts, as it was fun, but I wouldn't recommend spending $ to accomplish the setup

I love the flavor/effect of the EVO.

The fucking accessories are driving me crazy?
They fall apart so easily?

I feel you brother! For some people the maintenance comes natural but it's hard for me to stomach a pack of ELBs every 2 months if I want good function, and the nails are a total
No go for me. There's no easy, safe method to remove them from the Evo unless you have a stand for them and you have impervious hands or a pair of pliers. Torches are low class but burning my fingertips on a nail is no fun at all! The Evo is king for getting me fucked up, but it's so strong that it's hard to fit into a normal productive vaping schedule. Definitely a connoseiur tool, which I hope VXL remembers going forward. I think a 500ish cost is totally reasonable for the tech, especially if ELBs were improved / reinforced along with the hydratube glassblowing and some ergonomic nail solution.

I take my nails out and lay them on an oven pad. After they cool down I just put them back in the box. I also just put my hydrotube back in the box between hits. The water doesn't spill out of mine when it's on its side if I set everything up correctly.

I like the EVO for flavor & effect.
I thought I could make it one more week with my last ELB.
However it fell apart no matter how careful I try to be.
Maybe I got duds with the ones that came with the EVO or the 4 pack I got after?
The rims separated from the ELB's?

TI 2 would be more durable.

Sad to put it way and use another VAPORIZER until I go to the machine shop!

The NAIL's I loved until I broke them all. (TI 2 is better)
I hate batteries however I will break out the wax pens for now.

With Corporate getting involved QA will be apart of the design process!

The EVO has been the best tasting vaporizer.
Too bad the attachments are too fragile for the medical user.

For a stoner with padded floors it's most likely not an issue?

Like with most vaporizers with full temp control, can't you simply use lower temperature and shorter draws for less dense and lower quantity of vapor per toke? With the vaporizers that I have I often use shorter draws at the beginning of a bowl to limit the amount of vapor per toke in my lungs. Since it's convection, you can decide the number of draws you take, allowing you full control over the amount of cannabinoids(etc) in your body.

I'm a medical user and my ELBs are pristine, so let's go ahead and toss that first statement out the window.

I feel like maybe you're a very isolated case with these ELBs... while lots of people have issues with them not fitting properly or having seems come apart, the pics you posted showed them absolutely destroyed.

And you keep repeating the same sentiment over and over, like a deterrent for people to think twice about getting an EVO. I don't think that's fair to Vapexhale. If at least one other person was having the same issue, that'd be one thing. But nobody else is, it's an isolated incident.

It just seems like perhaps you're a bit rougher on your items than the average user? If you have the plans and means to make yourself more durable ELBs, do it! And I bet people on here might even be interested in buying them...

So let me state this clearly for any potential EVO purchasers who may have been put off by your ELB comments/pictures - yes, they are somewhat fragile, yes they have had some quality control issues with them lately, but the problems @ataxian has had are isolated incidents and with regular daily use, you should NOT expect ELB destruction like those posts/pics depict.

Don't worry...it's @ataxian , and those of us who live here know he is rough on all his vapes. In fact, he waited forever to get an Evo because he knew he would be rough on it!

He has a unique posting style, but you'll probably get used to it and end up loving him like we do!

Thanks for pointing it out for those that aren't familiar with our friend.

Like I said I love the EVO a lot.
I will have some EBLS made near by at a machine shop.
I was careful so maybe they ran out of solder?
Maybe your right?
It could be a isolated case?

I'll just put it away for now and get off this tread.
Sorry to offend!

See Ya!
