True, but you would be buying from Arizer directly. If that is any plus to that besides a huge piece of mind on the warrenty.
Awaiting more feedback about Aroma-Tek and any EQ RMA's, BTW. An Authorized US company that RMA's in country at Canada's price point.
I just got my pipe reamer from ebay fast. Much nicer one than the one pictured on the site.
There is serrated teeth around the entire rounded tip on one side and "Castleford" is stamped on it. Fancier for that, but made in China.
The poker has less of a point to it, than the one I bought in town. Plus the rounded tamper end is wider. Still usable as a tamper. Both are nice to use for scraping basket screens. So, you can get fussy if you wanted a select a 3 in one tool for your EQ. I had to own two because the rounded tip is just too gosh darn handy to use with the baskets alone.

I got my Arizer Extreme Q yesterday. Opened the box and found a two inch scratch on the EQ. I emailed Aroma Tek and they said I could send it back. I decided to just keep it.
May break it in this weekend. Hopefully.
Ordering & shipping from Aroma Tek: Price was great! EQ was well packaged, discretely packaged, and free priority shipping. I got it in three days. They responded to my email in less than 24 hours. Overall, a very good experience.

I figured it would cost me $10-15.00 to send it back, which is the only option they gave me. So I decided to just live with it. I have a nice Soma FM sticker that would nicely cover the scratch.

I bought my EQ and Arizer air from Aroma-tek. Both packed well and in good condition. However the Air wouldn't charge, lights were flashing on the unit so Aroma-tek sent me a new charger which was the problem and a free battery for my troubles. They seem like a decent company and prices are good. I had contacted Arizer also and they told me I could go through Aroma-tek or Arizer for warranty issues.
Hey all.. I tried to vape a while ago but the Extreme Q was very inefficient for me so I went back to joints. I want to try it again and buy the DDave mod. How do I know if I want/need the mini or the normal one? I don't have the money for both. I prefer to vape 0.1-0.2 gram at a time.
Thanks, I hope so! Strangely I got very very stoned with 0,3 gram when I tried it in the store, it was at 160-170 degrees and I got basically 0 vapor but the effect was like edibles. I never managed to get the same effect at home, tried tons of temps, different types of weed etc. but no luck at all. I vaped 0,5 gram last night in 1 hour where with smoking I smoke 0,5 in 6 hours and I was sober 30 mins after my last vape.. I know the vapers high is different but I almost feel nothing. I'm pretty poor so I can't afford much weed or tools.. hope I can keep myself from smoking joints again till it arrives.

Trust me, it will do the job. The mods coming in the mail will genuinely alter the basic thermodynamics of your EQ's operation, and give you clouds that will make you cough for minutes on end. People disagree on this but the thing that gets me the highest is thick clouds of vapor and the DDave mod provides that in spades. Warm up for 20 minutes, long slow inhale with fan speed on two...and then don't exhale for 20 seconds. You'll become the clouds!
Sounds good! When do you put in the weed, and do you let that warm up too?

18mm is the safest option. All thought the full kit is a good value also.
You will need lower temps to get the same results with the standard kit. The screens are a different mesh. etc. Definitely near 18mm of throat is responsible for those lungfuls of undreamed vapor gas.
So less restriction. EQ can keep up better to your desired temp. Easy to get some sort of 14mm adapter if needed for a water tool down the road. But the 14mm @DDave kit comes with basket screens.
That still amazes me. Just found a special pipe scraper that reshapes them a while back that works great for cleaning the screens. Read some pages on this thread, perhaps 10 or more back pages to get an impression about some who were amazed by the full upgrade and other diversions.
Also @DDave is always looking to upgrade any of the parts and takes suggestions in his Mod kit thread.

I currently use balloons cause I lost my whip but.. for some reason I get 0 vapor and I barely get high. I've seen screenshots without the DDave mod with thick vapor in their balloons, for me 0,5 gram in 6 balloons gave the same vapor as 2 cigarette puffs and I did do them at 200-220 degrees. I was high for an hour instead of 6 and it was pretty mild.

Some people seem to struggle with the eq, iv posted a few guides on this thread on how to get a good eq whip hit, ddave or stock, and then people have realised the power of the eq...
I was amazed at how long I stay high now compared to smoking, vaping definitely gets you higher for longer...
I wouldn't advise any fan while drawing, this will dilute your vapour with air...
There are many variables at play, maybe your product is just not very suited for vaping....
Maybe your rushing your draws, I know if my heart rate is too high, (like if iv just run to my vape), I wont be able to pull a nice cloud....
The ddave kit will of course make your eq much more powerful, but you should be able to use it well stock....
If you had a whip I'd give you some instructions....

I did use the whip in the past and felt I got more stoned from it than balloons, never much vapor though but if I get high I don't mind no vapor I guess. I lost my whip after a while but I'll get a new one tomorrow in a local store to use till my ddave mod arrives.
I used it for months daily with a lot of different (all pretty high quality) weed, different temps, very tiny draws without a fan, also tried hard draws basically everything. Wiith the whip it was.. okay, I still used a lot more weed than before but with balloons it's just so poor, I don't understand how people can say they get baked from them.. I need to vape a gram in 1-2 hours to get some decent effect where usually that lasts me an entire 12 hour session.
I just don't get why I got so baked when I tried it in the store but at home.. not. I did not get a single bit of vapor in the store (at 160-170 degrees with the whip and tiny draws) but I got so insanely stoned with a small amount of weed. After two balloons I start tasting the popcorn flavor, I even fill a 3rd one with it just to make sure I get it all. The 3rd balloon tastes pretty nasty and 0 vapor. The weed is almost black after I'm done. I've tried a different method every time I tried it out last year. Heating longer/shorter, fan 1,2,3, less/more weed, finely grind and bigger pieces, temps from 160-220 degrees. I'm pretty poor and I can't afford to vape 1+ gram of weed a day, can you post your guide for the whip so I can try it out once I got it?

1. Get home and run to your Eq in anticipation of getting high, turn on and set to 200 at fan 1 for at good ten min's with cyclone, elbow and whip attached, not the basket screen....
2. While waiting for the preheat, load your basket screen about 2 thirds full with a medium grind, and lightly tamped with the blunt end of the Eq stir tool....
3. After the preheating is done (elbow is fucking hot), turn fan off, remove elbow and insert loaded basket....
4. Turn temp up to 210 and wait again, this time just a minute for the herb to heat soak a little, soon as you see the vapour condensing in the elbow, your ready to draw...
5. Start your long slow draw, after about 4 seconds of draw, you should begin to see vapour streaming through the elbow, keep going until you have had enough, hold in for a bit, breath in a little fresh air to agitate (helps absorption), and slowly release...
6. Pull out elbow and stir, retamp, turn up to 220, give a minute and go again, then get 1 last go at 230, maybe even 1 more at 235...
This should work.... good luck...

Alright bought the whip.. unfortunately it was only the whip and nothing more.
I have one (bended) elbow I use for the balloons, one mouth piece for the whip. However I don't have the glass attachment to connect the whip to the chimney.. ugh.
Can I attach the whip directly to the elbow (where usually you attach the balloon) or will it get too hot that way? Or maybe I can attach the whip with the mouth piece in the elbow and just take draws without a mouth piece? It takes a week before I can get the other parts

Please tell me does anybody know if there is a small [size of a finger] water tool that would fit the the tube whip for this? there must be somwhere surely?
