Might be a good time to go a complete different direction from your mighty and plenty. A log vape would compliment each, and wean you off the S&B teat. Although that's a great teat, and you'll have that mighty back in no time. I think we all need more than 2-3 vapes, lol. Hope this helps, ha ha

solo user here. converted my mate to vaping and he is looking at this bad boy and the firefly. the good is obvious with the adjustability, portability and cloudage. what about the negative stuff? i know warranty si cast iron and the the highly technical nature means plenty of things to go wrong but how do these translate to real world experience?


any help is appreciated chaps

Never used the firefly and not interested in buying one just to see if all the hype was real, some like it, some dont...

there is no downside to the mighty besides possible glitches. I do know the firefly can be bad battery life wise and there's a learning curve not to cumbust...not at all the case with the mighty OR solo for that matter

Any authorized dealer will do..but storz and bickel is a good place to get one for sure.

I don't think anyone can pre determine (accurately) if this IS the vape for you...however, I love mine and I know alot of others do too! That's a good start (imo) a birthday is a time for celebration NOT speculation...

Oups I forgot to clean filling chamber (fc) during many weeks and now there is black/brown layer inside.

Iso can not clean it and S&B say they have no solution to clean this.

So I try to clean it with orange tool !

I strongly push orange tool, nearly vertical, from top to bottom of the fc, many many times, on a zone like 1 or 2 mm large.

Slowly, the end of orange tool shape changes and it is possible to feel more resistance, more vibrations during rubbing against fc wall; slowly little pieces of black/brown layer fall and wall begin to appear. The job is easier now, but not faster, just need to enlarge the cleaned zone.

It is a long time to clean all filling chamber, 3 session of 15 minutes here, but it depends of the time waited before to clean it..

During cleaning, grid is always inside heating chamber, to avoid piece of black/brown layer falling in the heater.

For finishing, sanding the filling chamber with orange tool and a piece of sponge (rough face) gives great result. Working with Mighty upside down avoid dust to come inside heater.

If I can advise, trying sponge first might be faster

PS : I broke one fin during strongly pushing with orange tool

Can not see ANY of the images..
BUT I have neglected to clean mine too and it got badly stained.

I would say to put some iso on a qtip, dip it an salt and clean while the oven is slightly warm (makes it easier)

when it starts to loosen, turn vape to high. Dip a qtip in water and then scrub...

After that just alternate between water and iso until clean

might(y) just save yourself a fin and a tool

Do you use a plastic scraping tool? I'd be too worried about plastic contamination to use metal.

No i don´t use plastic- i don´t have any - but if you scrape gently - just sliding your tool and collecting oil - you can´t hurt anything. Of course some silicone tool would be the best!

It is easy to make a simple case for Mighty, with pencil case and foam motherboard protection

- Use foam motherboard protection (or foam delivery protection)

- Roll Mighty in foam protection sheet

- Insert foam rolled Mighty inside pencil case

- Close pencil case

- Here it is, easy, efficient and stealthy

I find the liquid pad works best for cleaning the bowl. Just take a used one and soak in ISO. Then put it in the bowl and spin it. I used a screwdriver to spin it.

I have owned a mflb, solo, and an air, that being said I was never satisfied with them so I sold them. I have been looking at the mighty as it looks to be the best as long as you don't get a defective unit. So I was thinking of buying it straight from S&B to get the latest model, I don't want to have to warranty it in say 2 months when it's this much money though. Should I just pull the trigger and not worry about it? Thanks

Don´t worry ! No worries at all, go straight to storz-bickel web - make your order, wait , and enjoy! Forget about mflb, solo, air etc.. You´ll be satisfied for sure! And don´t think about the warranty or faulty units... everything can be faulty - you have warranty ! I own crafty and mighty and had no problems -->just sweet never ending honey moons with my MIGHTY !

I have tried to spin pad with orange tool in bowl, but I made traces on bowl face. Don't you meet this issue ?

My experience with America CS - amazing. They do break, but they always fix. In this last instance I had, they are including the return label with the new unit. I get the new unit BEFORE I have to return. I'm not sure if this is their "policy", but this is a good company.

I have never head of that before. I asked if they could do something like this and was told no.

I even had to go and buy a second unit and they never offered me anything like that. I wish they would treat every customer the same and not have different rules for different people i.e. Some people have to pay for return postage when some don't.

Would not worry about it.

For what it's worth, had mine for 3 weeks, it's still working good as new! Need to clean the CU sometime though.

I have the same history and was never offered a resolution like this. S&B agreed that buying a second unit was the best way to resolve this. That seems so shady now after reading your post.

I have an older unit 0078** and it has never had any issues. It's battery is slightly less powerful, and it is scratched up a bit from use. I may or may not have to return it at some point, but if I do, I'm assured S&B will take care of me.

Perhaps the better question should be, does anyone regret buying a mighty? I know I sure don't regret buying mine.
