The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

Please remember that the few who do have defects speak out more than us who have working mightys. Mine is 01742 and I love my mighty. It has temperature issues only regarding vibrating and some battery issues, I am holding off as long as I can to send it in. I really want pass through charging and a stronger battery.

But most importantly, performance has not dropped one bit since the day I purchased this. Luckily, I was able to grab a herbie, minivap, and mighty and find all three ABVs very similar. Most of my other vaporizers give more of a charred or uneven extraction.

i'm still at work and locked-up in the office today so I have to use "tab"-"alt" between typping when someone enters the room :D

@stuy1976
Where do you come from? There is an american warranty center, too.
Last time when sending in my device with a very nice letter (usefull critics) I got back:

-Brand new unit with whole Accessoires (I kept the old charger, grinder, CU, Brush etc., even the picking tool and upper sealing of the heater)
-10 (!) packs of new sieves for 3,90€ each = 39€
-2nd cooling unit
-8 picking tools
-Volcano sticker
-a very nice call

I'm not the only one who got back a brand new unit (with new batteries = 50€, dont forget!) Don't expect free gifts when sending in the device for warranty, anyway. Just to show they take care of their customers. In my case I got in contact with one engineer who is member in the developping team and he appreciated my thoughts and time very much (i'm working as engineer, too and he tried to call me several times during working time and used very specific vocabulary in my letter on purpose to not even let them think to trick me on the broken housing). They won't do this for everybody, but he probably will get a better payment after the next team Meeting @ S&B :rofl:

Your Unit will not sit more then 1 day at S&B warranty Center. i had worser experiences...

Edit: @adam-baumm this time i was faster :lol:

Edit 2: I hacked my post, can a mod please edit? Sry

Edit 3: @mixchu69 quick ISO clean on the bowl was enough in my case. I didn't even do that and shipped right away. S&b germany didn't care about the sweet smell...

Modnote: un-hacked

I think I will use that Oakland address but don't want to be without the mighty. I assume popping out the screen, wipe down with ISO and placed in a turkey bag will suffice for shipment. I have never shipped anything that has residue or smell. Forgot, S&b will give me instructions for return.

I'm from Manchester in the UK, so any problems and I'd have to be shipping it across the sea into mainland Europe. Of course I may not get any problems with it at all. You guys seem quite happy with your Mighty purchases right?

Look at the number of replies in the crafty compared to the mighty. I realize this is an unfair comparison, but the mighty has very few defects, and that was early. I'm more of an early adopter and it vaporizes as good as my best vaporizers. And I know s&b will take care of the customer if there are problems. Nothing this small hits so hard.

Edit.stuy1976, I know it's a pricey drop of cash. But it will outperform that amount in happiness the first day you use it.

Apart minor drawbacks I mentioned on my very first post in the forum, yes!
The vaporizer market is hard to understand, from my point of view there are many poorly designed, under engineered and half-finished, overpriced or even poisonous and dangerous units out there with quite big selling success I would forbid.
If the mighty where a mobile phone I would never buy one again from the same manufacturer, but in the vaporizer market there isn't a better one money can buy, imo, everybody makes mistakes and apple isn't selling vaporizers, yet. (Ploom is not Apple :lol:)

I'm sure they will work out faults very fast, in your warranty time for sure.

This is sometimes the drawback of being an early adopter...

I realize the mighty is a lot less popular than the crafty because a lot of people like the Bluetooth, form factor and dead simple operation. Sadly 180c locked is not good enough for me and the last thing I want showing up on local Bluetooth devices is my weed toys plus battery life made the mighty the easy choice for me.

I can see why the crafty would be more popular for the majority of users but I think the mighty is only less popular on account of being more expensive and only for those for whom the crafty needed to be "just a little bit more". Maybe I should shut up until mine arrived.

So I've spoken to a dealer in the UK concerning the Mighty vape (Namaste Vapes) and I've asked them to send me the serial numbers of there current stock so I can make sure it isn't one of the old units. Can anybody tell me what I need to look for to make sure it's one of the newer versions please?

The launch units seemed to be numbers in the under 5000 range. Newer ones should be into the 10's of thousands (15k)

As far as I know . Michel actually got the answer from s&b : there has been no change at all in mighty production except for possible software tweaks. The o rings are now red, but I mailed s&b and they said" the only difference its a new batch, different color but same otherwise" .

So its same housing, same production.

Like I said mine is 500 serial and works greater than great ;)

Would buy from vapefiend personally, namastevape makes me nervous!
Why does Namaste make you nervous I.B. lol? I bought both my Pax units from there with no trouble!

Well Adam I had an email conversation with S&B this afternoon from Germany and was told that the Mighty has been improved continuously since its first release. I was told the battery casing has been improved so the batteries can't rattle loose any more and the firmware for the temperature gauge and display has also been tweeked a few times since first realise

Oh yes, Michel did mention they included foam inside so the battery does not move. Mine is fine. And yes as I mentioned some software tweaks. So that is right as far as I know. Best wishes

Edit: search Michel in the search bar, he posted his response from s&b regarding any changes.

Namaste is uk ltd, ltd are often (faulty) considered to be unserious and ripping customers off. At least in Germany and from what I believe to know so far.
Friend of mine got a vape from them and 300 € for a mighty on sale is ok I think.

@adam_baumm @stuy1976

My unit has very light blue o-rings. Serial is nearly 12000. Got it from S&B directly.

@JJ Cool F
Better get 2 mightys for alternate usage than one minivap :D
Seriously, I could write the same ironic post about the mighty in the minivap forum if I wanted to (but it wouldn't be so funny, perhaps they aren't getting high enough :lol:) .
But don't forget we have problems here, too.
And please don't forget I have a Teflon core from 2014, not the newest, fastest lightest iPhone-ahm, I mean- glass core MV. I will upgrade for sure if it's not defective because it's just not usable for me and let you know how it is working.

Edit:
@stuy1976
I know it is hard, i did it myself on all threads I own the corresponding vapes apart solo and mflb threads (you can't, nobody can, to much information.) But I feel you like us, so why not read the last 6 pages from now. I promise you will be surprised how much information there is packed. Also you will already learn the little tricks and hints before getting the mighty to use your unit at full potential and how to baby it.
E.g. : increase temp steps from 175 to 200 degrees and reset auto shut off in the same time (you'll probably have difficulties to reset the auto shut off with a draw on a fully charged battery) simply by clicking once the temp up button. The unit won't vibrate for the whole session anymore (you have to raise temp every minute by clicking once of course). And you will preserve the home button from breaking, if this should be possible at all...
