Does anyone make glass with a built in LED or glowing material so you can see your vapor form better in the can at night? I'm thinking of macguyver-ing something for that purpose. Could be a very cool add-on product for vaporists.

Maybe its because its the D020-W and the holes are easily managed with thumbs, but never takes more than a 30-60 second shake with ISO and salt to get it clean. I also clean weekly or more maybe that makes a difference.

This place is making me OCD about always hitting clean glass. Last week I cleaned my 189 EVERY DAY. I also blame watching myself vape in the mirror, I just want the clearest picture. I find after a while the glass fogs up and the oil build up makes the sides retain condensation. I don't really want to use the rezblock or cranberry, so I salt ISO shake, it only takes a couple min and lasts a day or two before I get that itch to clean it again.

I don't mind a shake-n-rinse.

In 60-90 seconds, I can shake with salt and wash clean entirely.
I used to let mine soak but I find it pointless to keep a piece out of the rotation (even for just 30 mins) when I can clean it in under 2 mins.

This item is just so slick, I sometimes put a small LED flash light along side the can and when evening rolls around I'll get baked and mesmerize myself watching the illuminated glow of dancing bubbles in the mirror. To be able to illuminate from below is epic bro, we need to give you an honorary medal as the glass scientist of FC !! ATTENTION ON DECK !! 100% ON THAT Flyinglow,I get away using super hot tap water (got my water heater jacked up a bit more on temps) and dawn dish washing soap. Even when I occasionally put road materials in my lung and 1/2, I use a charcoal filter and the pipe still cleans up real nice w/ the same method.The filter is a bit tuffer so I use a home depot orange cleaner and BAM done.Vaping doesnt seem to booger up at all,doing dabs I could see,but vapor with NACE no muss no fuss...others YMMV

Thanks! The flashlight is what gave me the idea so I shopped DH and AE first but when I saw these I thought, that's it! No medals needed, bc this is a team effort and you have contributed greatly, as well. I just wish I could give wonderful reviews like Jam, FMac, BoogerMan, Tweak and Deadshort but sadly not yet for me. Members like diehard, mr. Gweilo, oli, Herr_D, Dangus, Ataxian and Mister G have done an amazing job at keeping us abreast of new pipes, lately. I know I'm leaving a bunch of contributors out too.

I have been noticing my pieces tending to get a bit foggy above the water line. Not a big deal to clean up with PBW or ISO, but I'm waiting for some CE from BC to see how it works. I was headed towards Rez Block until I read the thread about it and decided to try the Cranberry Extract. That should make it reasonable enough to use all the time. Rez Block was gonna be too expensive.

Edit: I am QUITE confident that Dawn or any dishwashing liquid would lead to broken glass for me. Especially along with vigorous shaking...

DHgate also has some led base lights... if you are already in there buying glass... I am a sucker for LED stuff in general, and it would be fun to brighten up a piece at night once in a while. The Tornado piece I ordered has at lease made it to china post, so it's on the way. I wonder if I'll get green accents, to matchy match all the other china green I have gotten so far. Green is a good color

Last week I cleaned my 189 EVERY DAY.

I clean my piece every session, . If I don't feel up to it, I just grab a different piece. Anybody else this obsessive? Maybe it's because the RB makes the water absorb the nastiness.

I quit using PBW cause it would always tend to leave white residue behind, but I was using a homemade blend.

For me it is now RezBlock every session, then rinse with a tiny bit of Simple Green. My glass has never been so shiny. I was going through a bottle of ISO every other week before this.

As for lights under your glass:

The inventor of the Verdamper built his own, lol.

Would be pretty cool to build a box like this with a built in surge protector/UPS for all our vapes.

VERY TRUE There are so many good people here and the ones you mention do a bang up job posting vids and jpegs with info/links and generally always assisting the mob here.The thread is amazing as we note,the amount of chatter is also heard around the site, people looking for what we already have, it spreads around well.

I remember trying to figure out 14mm 19 mm and what my Solo would hook up with and it was like being a teen all over again discovering the MJ, and its still is,I do question our addiction but its justified easily when the amount of 1 really class act rig = 10 of the knock-off import rigs generally, once again to all of you who do give us the 411 on the goods and your time , we salute you

I could understand that, but in this situation the water is piping hot and the velocity out of the faucet is enough to knock it down and honestly,one can just swirl it around a bit and it strips the build up. I dont shake because in my earlier pipes I broke a few percs and have resorted to using the NACE when vaping and either Dawn or a good industrial green cleaner/degreaser (orange oil cleaners,Simple green)when cleaning.Gloves are optional for grip. Rinse well.

My LHS has a few pieces that have to be from the same supplier/manufacturer. I have a reverse showercap version I really like. I like being able to hook up a whip from the mouthpiece port and watching the vapor form inside.
The angle on the downstem is interesting - but makes it a little tricky to use ash catchers.
