As for the tattoo - that is in fact the inner part of my left bicep. When walking it sits right side up but being that I took the photo myself with the "shaking" hand it was easiest to put my arm up and flip the picture.

I had the same problem showing pics of dork on my ass.

@Vicki - I know you won't but just in case, get in touch with the doctor immediately. Don't wait! :2c:

@t-dub - you let the lady drive? :mental:

As far as the issue with my wife she already took the personal test. It's 20 question's and if you score more than 13 there's a possibility you have Fibro.

She scored 19! Personally, as @momofthegoons said I think there's a lot going on in her head. The new meds are only in her system since Friday evening. We all know mental health meds could take up to 2 weeks to really take affect. On the bright side, she finally got out of bed today and she helping me with the kids. The last few days without her has proven difficult. Honestly, I don't know how she does it.

I admit, I never listened. I should have been more involved with stuff needing to be done around the house. Now I learned a valuable lesson, marriage is all about teamwork. I've felt so alone the last week that I can't imagine how I made her feel. As I mentioned before I had my head so far up my ass since diagnosis I forgot everything else. That shit I can't get back, but I'm not willing to miss another second.

If she does have fibro, just like anything else - I'll stick by her side through it. She's everything to me, I don't want her to suffer. She's an amazing woman, a real hero around here.

You know me too well. I have an appointment with my Orthopedic surgeon on Wednesday morning. They are gone for the holiday until then, so I don't see any point in calling the after hours number.

On a side note, so far, I have been able to keep down 2 hot dogs. First food I have had since Thursday. :)

Just to lighten the mood, I got to see Steve Martin live here a couple weeks ago. He is playing banjo now with the Steep Canyon Rangers and Edie Brickell. It was an interesting show and a lot of fun. These are not my pics, if you even raised a camera in the place the ushers were on you immediately . . .

Steve's first joke of the evening set a nice tone . . .
“This next song is a sing-a-long, but—it has no lyrics, so … good luck with that.”

Spoke too soon again. Wasn't able to keep my food down last night either. I haven't had a decent meal since Thursday. Hubby said I should just be using the Phenergan all the time, as a preventative measure. Not just when I think I'm gonna be sick. I may have no choice but to do that, even if it makes me really tired.

Last night, I used the Phenergan and was in the middle of a vape session with my Solo, and had to run to the bathroom to get sick. I guess I was past the point of no return where nothing was going to help, either herb or RX med. :disgust:

Our daughter is making me some scrambled eggs this morning. Here's hoping I can keep that down.

Oh Vicki... I am so sorry you are having such a hard time. I've got to admit, when you said you had eaten two hotdogs, I got a little worried.. :uhoh: Not my first choice for an iffy stomach.

Try to eat mild things today like the eggs or even just toast. And yes, do keep ahead of the nausea. Who cares if it makes you tired? You got something special planned? ;)

Feel better hon.

Yeah, I should not have partaken of the Memorial Day feast, that's for sure. BIG mistake.

I need a "weed fairy."

http://www.addictinginfo.org/2014/05/27/weed-fairy-posts-signs-with-free-pot-around-seattle-video/

If there’s such a thing as a fairy that furtively enters your home and absconds with your kids teeth, then there has to be a magical lady who travels around leaving small amounts of pot. The only difference, of course, is that the Weed Fairy is real and she caters to adults (or at least legal adults).

The Weed Fairy is posting signs with free pot all around Seattle
Her surname is Yeni Sleidi, but her fliers call her the Weed Fairy’ or Danksy Appleweed. She first madenews during the government shutdown in October of last year after taping small bags of marijuana taped to flyers in and around Brooklyn in order to lift spirits. Usually, lifting spirits in Brooklyn either means you’re being ironic or offering free beard implants. And since recreational marijuana-use in New York is still very much illegal, Sleidi said she had to be very discreet about it. But no such subtlety or artfulness is needed in Seattle, Washington where recreational marijuana was made legal back in 2012.

“I’ve been more open about it in Washington. They have worse things to worry about; I don’t think they are going to come after the weed fairy,” she told KCPQ.

I live in washington, and I endorse this idea  Weed Fairy, to Vicki's NOW!

I don't live in Seattle, though. But, if it was anything like here, it RAINED the entire holiday weekend. :)

Worked all day, foot sorta sore late afternoon. Now medicated and resting it. :)

On a side note, they finally started making generic Lidocaine patches, so I don't have to pay $300.00 every time I fill that prescription. It's the little things. I'll take what I can get. :)
Glad to hear you took my advice about asking for generics this time around  fucking pharmacy tried to charge me $425 for 2x 30-count boxes... yeah, no :disgust: damn insurance rates went up again and I sent them payment for the older amount, they received it and then mailed it back to me via check... it should be sorted around noon tomorrow but it's pretty annoying

Just wishing everyone a pain free day
Not likely in my neck of Michigan. It's been raining for 3 days straight. Big ole fat rain. I feel like the tin man before he gets his oil.

On a more positive note, I went in for my post op check up today and got a . Still need to exercise some hip precautions for another month or so. But I'm good to go on going back to the pool and getting out of the house. It's been a long damn 3 weeks. Momma is ready to have some fun again.

I'm so sorry you are hurting @momofthegoons :( I know you still have more healing to do, and hopefully it will be more tolerable as the days go by.

I saw my Orthopedic surgeon this afternoon. He checked my sutures and put me in another temporary splint. He walked next door and made me a special appointment at the rehab place tomorrow afternoon to get the permanent splint. Then I start OT up again next Tuesday, 2 days a week, until further notice.

Of course, I took some pictures.

Last pic is back in the temporary splint, wrapped well until the sutures are removed on Monday.

I should be able to fix that for you. Otherwise maybe @pakalolo or someone who doesn't get quite as wonky as I do will step in... I hope. :D

I hope you are also feeling better Melting Pot.

Wow what a day, I will just park this here.

as you can see Moms struggling to master the new hip Obama got her.
Which is sort of ok, but she wont stop fucking moaning about it.

I suggested she stick something in her mouth, it might help take her mind off it but I think she may have misunderstood me. (sorry Mr Mom I tried.)

Then there is some weird guy for a couple of seconds who seems to be molesting a coat rack.
Some inner city latte swilling, organic veggie quaffing know it all douche who likes to pocket mulch.
Dont ask me how I know, I just know.
Almost like I have a sensation its happened before.

anyhoo, I digress

@Stu has been promoted to ringing the dinner bell.
I must say he is especially enthusiastic, he really puts his back into it & just look at the big smile he has.
Grinning like the retarded idiot he is, God bless him.
One of Jeebus's little angels.

He really likes to help out,
but there always seems to be woodglue everywhere afterwards.

& of course you all get treated to a 'flute-a-phone' solo by me. (how could you miss the hair right?)
Thats some mighty nice fluting if I may say so myself.

Enjoy!

Oh! @dorkus_molorkus ... I've hardly moaned a bit! I'f my instincts are right, old Mr. Mom and you have been in touch and that is why he's been walking around with that fucking vial of viagra and saying "Wanna blow my didgeridoo?" Well... what do I have to say about all this? I remind you both that I am still heavily medicated and cannot really be responsible for my actions.
