I quite like mine with a whip too! I bought a couple of the EQ elbow whip adapters and use a 18f/18f as a bowl.This is the two screen sandwich method. I also tried an ELB in the upper connection. Got some fluidization effects but the chamber is too large. Need to try more scenarios.
Works really well, especially with the makeshift boost cap I made

Well holy shit, I'm glad I stuck with it.
Because with controller box #4 in place, THIS THING ROCKS
The box from @gosaints420 scared me
, so I did not try it.
I needed another extension cable anyways so no biggie.
Chris's new box came in about an hour ago. It did not exhibit the warning signs that ^ did, so I set it at 88 volts (because it looked cool on the display) and let myG1 infinity warm up. 15-20 minutes later I started sucking on my blaze bong with it's new new ashcatcher (that I got just for this occasion), got some light vapor and throttled the boost. 
! I'm glad I had my wits about me or I would have combusted for sure.
So next I backed it down to 80v and did another monster hit, performance wise this vaporizer is everything I could have hoped for. It has no problem painting this setup milk white, not possible with the evo ime even without the ashcatcher. I'm amazed because my abv has no black in it, still another hit or two left. I put in a decent amount but nowhere near even half full. I wish I had the balloon base to try, because I have everything else required to blow a bag with this thing. Gotta say that I'm impressed so far!
Gotta go, because the bowl isn't finished yet and more research is required
edit: I'm back. Settled down at 80v, there was zero green left in the abv and I was still able to milk the bb/ac twice with it. And the abv was not very dark when I was done, so very impressive extraction for sure. I am very surprised to hear myself say that not only do I no longer regret this purchase (as long as reliability holds up), but this vaporizer has moved right into the cleanup position of my starting lineup!

I'm just going to say this is the most effective vaporizer I have and I too am happy I dealt with waiting 2 months just to receive it. Good to hear it's working for you grokit.

Locked in at 79v, I just completely extracted a monster hit on full boost with no regards to combustion and the abv was still not dark brown. So yes exactly what I was hoping for. I'm quite surprised to hear myself say that versa really does have the potential to take convection extraction to another level.
I have a kill-a-watt and found it interesting that when the voltage is changed on the box the voltage on the kaw remains constant (at max), but the wattage changes just like on my sub 1.0. The kaw isn't necessary, but I'm going to put a belkin 3/6 hr. timer inline with the infinity box so I don't leave it on too long.

It's a good-sized bowl, and I'm pretty much just sucking in to fill it like an ssv wand and just giving the bottom of the screen a decent coating of ground herb so not measuring per se. I just bumped it up to 84v, no backing off and still not close to combustion. Haven't milked the blaze bong with vapor this dense since I had the sub hooked up to it. I stopped with the sub because I liked it dry, but also economy because I could easily double my hit size out of the sub when I had it plugged in to the bb. So even though it's just barely (fully) covering the screen it's a monster-sized one-hitter, I think it's easily a full hint spoon probably more. It just finishes extracting for the set temp on its own with a dose this size and I carb it, very easy to dial in.

So glad to hear you are enjoying your Infinity @grokit ! There has been a lot of hate spewed in this thread but you can't deny it's a good vape. If the business aspect of the company could get polished up a bit, the company would have promise. I like hanging around in the upper 50's lower 60's voltage wise, using full boost. Keeps the glass cool and I still get good extraction, especially with the customized bowl setup.
@paytonpenn The swirling herb has been mentioned by others as well. I just pause my inhale while pulling the unit away. It's not an issue with the mod though.

I've seen those videos and they are awesome! And I'm not too picky, I just would like to see more of this vape in action.
There are a lot of words in this thread, a lot bad and some good, but all the videos I've seen seem impressive.

No shit. I honestly haven't used the standard bowl for a while. Maybe with the new heater it swirls even more. I know he is aware that everyone wants a smaller bowl configuration, I think....
@Dr. Plutonious I really have no complaints about the vape personally, except maybe build quality on some of the units. I will make some more videos. It will just take a bit for them to come because this thing knocks me on my ass and I'm a lightweight. Ha!

My Infinity model has more airflow than the other models and the bottom base is designed for the Nippled Air Base. None of your Infinities are designed for that and are boost units. At least this is what I believe.
You can tell there is a slight difference on my Infinity's body which makes boost less effective and increases the airflow. Mine also has a nice whistle when you use it. Its also not designed to utilize boost but its an option, though I don't need to cover the bottom to increase the thickness of vapor, just slow down my inhale in general. Covering the top hole makes very little difference on my Infinity but you can tell that boost still works even though its not a boost unit like all of yours. My boost doesn't create milk like what I've seen when its at the same voltage as others.
My base is actually a fusion of those two bases, with a shorter joint. The one of the right was based on the old nipple base and has been phased out.

There are different bases, and the ones with nipples accommodate pumps I get that. But are there different infinity bodies as well, where one kind works better for bags but offers less boost than the other?

I don't know why different vaporizers affect me in different ways, but they do. I can use the same bud in three vapes and get three different affects.
