I've never checked mine not sure but I would assume one probe on the flat bottom and the other on the threads? That's how I check other carts

Yes, perfect amount. Load in two steps, 0.25 till melted in (press button a give a few puffs) then load the rest...
For harder stable oils I would only recommend 1 coil. Waxes and gooey 2 coils works and load twice the amnt

Problems...not heating up...hold the button down...stays on for a while...then flashes and shuts off batteries are fully charged...so said the charger...
Did you check the Herc with your DMM? One probe in the center and one on the threads. Like this:
Check the batteries with the DMM while you are at it.

Yes its reading 2.6....I put the KISS cart on and tapped it...the Persei is good...it started to glow

A couple things to check. Sounds like the maybe there is no contact being made by the center post.
Which batteries are you using? Did you check them with the DMM? Make sure not to attempt toscrew the Herc down flush with the top. There should be a space.

AVM batteries it said to use.....I think that was the problem...I didn't have the rod out far enough I think, So whats the technique here, hold the button down and hit it.....or heat for a few seconds and let off...I know its been said somewhere....laziness....how much of a gap are you supposed to have....?

Once it is loaded, usually a 3-6 second warmup while lightly puffing. Then once vapor starts for me it's one second on one second off while inhaling. Be sure to do cool down hits (lightly draw with no power to cool oil and prevent leaks) before setting it down when you are done.

Yup you should be set for a very very very long time. Or until w9tech comes out with something else that makes you jealous you don't have it
The only Cartridge system you can rebuild and not worry about gunking up or sending in for repairs every other month.
Hell its the only cartridge that works with every kind of oil, no foil test needed like others on the market. Enjoy the cartridge that outlasts anything else you have or will have in the future.

Hey, I'm going to replace my charger, but until it comes.....what's up with the light on the stocker...I get a rapid red flicker...shouldn't it be solid?
Rapid flicker will eventually turn to green when batteries are fully charged. It flickers between red and green when charge is close to complete.

So this is what I was doing wrong causing the oil to run into the bottom chamber. Something in the instructions said something about a fifteen second button hold for a 30 second draw.. so I was just holding the crap out of it, and would begin inhaling after 3 seconds, and let off halfway through. I was watching some herc use vids from Bob Loblaw on YouTube and he seemed to be holding the shit out of the button... Ive been doing cool down draws but cant figure out how to keep the oil from going down thru the inlet holes with the Nibbler XL cause I figure its got about a 45 degree limit before water could flood the Herc. And the answer is... on off taps just like the 5 ohm cart at 7.4v?
15/30 means you inhale vehicle holding the button down for 15 seconds and keep inhaling another 15 seconds without the button on.
What this means is what ever your inhale time is keep the button pressed for half that time since the Herc produces vapor after you let go of the button. What this does is it cools the Herc down so that it does not vape away your oil while you are not using it.
And everyone just to be clear on the Nibbler T and the future versions are made in response to manufacturers claiming they will make components for our devices. Till now I have sat silent and done nothing but do what we do best and that is innovate, but when manufacturers start to creep into our territory just to increase sales we will blitz into theirs full force.

I'll be using QWISO oil mostly (almost stable oil or waxier stuff, either stays in place very well at room temperature though). I want to be primarily using kief mixed with QWISO oil until a doughy consistency then load up the herc with it. Would this be better filled in .5g increments with one coil, or 1g increments with 2 coils?
