I didn't say they have no responsibility to deliver the product. They just don't have the responsibility to satisfy people's curiosity in any specific way. Especially people who are not even backers. I trusted them enough to invest a hundred bucks. I don't need anymore salesmanship- they already have my money. I appreciate updates, and agree there are many ways to demonstrate their progress. It's just that I don't think that their ability to succeed has anything to do with releasing more videos.

Here's the deal. Some people, regardless if they're backers or not, would like to see updates. Others, regardless if they're backers or not, could care less. I don't see any reason to invalidate either side on this. To me, they each have their reasons for either desiring more info or not desiring more info. No right or wrong here the way I see it.

Seriously, it's in my employment contract that I could be fired even for suspicion of "involvement", like proactive involvement in decriminalization efforts.
I always feel for people and the troubles they have in non-mj states... I grew up with that mentality of knowing people view you as a "criminal" just for following your heart and taking what feels right to you.

All I can do is urge you to move somewhere more accepting. I've been legal for almost two years now and it's truly a different life. It's like a weight lifting from your shoulders; you can stand tall and take pride!

People act like they have some guaranteed right to see more videos, and whine when they don't get their way. If you have money invested, then I can at least see where you are coming from. Otherwise, make whatever demands you want, but don't act like you are entitled to anything. ("You" not meant to be any specific person)
Sorry, just my observation of people's behavior....
They already have backers. Funding is closed, and has been for quite a while. Until they start selling these retail, no one else can become a customer.

Although I feel like they have a responsibility to their backers to provide updates on their progress, they really have no incentive at this time to try to convince anyone else about the merits of their product.

Lol my bad you guys.. I was just typing that out and never intending to post it unless it wasn't a ramble and it was.. I don't know how it got posted.. It was not thought out at all.. I was just typing it and never meant to even post it, that's why there was no structure to it LOL.:D This lap top I'm using has a mind of its own some times. But yeah, I am not surprised at the choices they have made.. It makes sense to me.. I definitely wasn't intending to debate about it though.

New to this thread and couldn't find an updated date of release on the first few pages. Anyone want to fill me in? Sry if this has been asked or answered before.

edit: Found some videos a few pages back, but still wondering the release date, or if there is one at all.

Lucky you I didn't quote you in my reply!

Thanks for the reply. I saw the shipping date was pushed back until April. Are you saying that in March new customers will be able to place orders? Because I wasn't able to support the indiegogo project :(

It's really up in the air at this point. We hope to receive units by April.

Unless you've already invested I would just sit back and wait for some FC reviews before attempting to throw any more money their way.

Yup, sounds like the best plan right now. I'll have my fingers crossed until then!

I agree with this 100%. These guys have no obligations to give anyone "updates," when you bought your product, there was no promises of updates or anything, just that you would get a product that works as they said it would. I easily gave my $100 for the final product alone. Now, updates are awesome and I always wish they would have more of them :) But they certainly don't owe us it by any shot... (excluding an update for the delayed release).

If you mods are going to combine my posts, it would be nice to at least put in a little message that you've been altering the original conversation. I apparently can't even edit my own post to add that information...

Thanks for the kind words, and believe me, I know. I lived my entire life in a socially accepting and fully decriminalized area, and am a card holder back there. We have to be out here for a few years for a variety of reasons, but we'll be back in native habitat hopefully before too much time. I miss home terribly. This is only one reason, but it's a huge one. My medical issues are coming back in full force, and I can't afford to medicate via the black market, either legally or financially.

Or maybe you could avoid making back to back posts in the first place?

Just a thought.

:peace:
I didn't, wise guy :-) There WAS a post between two of mine.
Buildozer edited his embarrassingly wrong missive, and left the word "delete". A mod came along and deleted his entire post.

Just for a bit of perspective, I didn't think BullDozer's post was embarrassingly wrong at all. :2c:
Well, Buildozer did, and said as much.
There IS a perspective that keeps coming up in thread that is getting really tedious though....

You would do well to accompany that "wise guy" reference with a nice smiley.

Some of you have probably noticed that we no longer put mod notes in back-to-back posts unless there is a good reason. We send 0 point friendly warnings instead. I checked, and for some reason you weren't sent one. I don't see why you would edit it, however, and I certainly don't agree that we have been "altering the original conversation." If anyone did that, it was @Buildozer editing out his intervening post. Your post still makes perfect sense and I don't believe for a moment that anyone would be able to tell that it was originally two posts. In fact, I'm willing to bet that the moderator involved saw it that way as well and intended to save you the bother of getting a warning, since you're a long time member who we know doesn't do this as a habit.

You should also be aware that we get reports on double posts and as I said, anyone who didn't see the intervening post wouldn't know it had ever existed.

Edited to make the last sentence say what I wanted it to say.

I "don't do this as a habit" AND I DID NOT DO IT THIS TIME EITHER. So why would I get a warning in the first place?
Feel free to delete this, I realize it doesn't add anything to the discourse. It's just that moderation is making it look like I somehow broke a rule that I didn't even break....

I said it was a friendly warning, and it starts out "You're not in trouble..." As I said, almost everyone who makes back-to-back posts gets one. I realize you didn't make the posts and if you think about it, you didn't get a warning now did you?

The part of your quote that I underlined is blatantly wrong and frankly, unfair to we moderators. Nobody could tell there was moderation until you started making a fuss. I'm not deleting this because there's a lesson here, but you should take any further discussion to PMs.

I wish I would have caught @Buildozer's post,
it sounds like it was quite entertaining :myday:

It was provocative, a bit entertaining and brought up some valid points coming from a different perspective than the perspective that some have here. Personally, I think he buckled under peer pressure and I was kinda sad to see that he deleted it, but I totally understand why he did.
