guys we are looking into this just to many factors but the next tops out will be designed for the Hercules i promise.


As for the chrome units they have been discontinued a while ago we are just running through our stocks. We wont discontinue the support for them.

So if my chrome top goes bad and there are no more chrome tops left, and u have to replace it with a black top, will u also replace the tube as well so I don't have a mismatched Persei??

Does it sound completely ridiculous to ask that if we have sent the chrome top in, and that we are in your system as buying the Persei (obviously) and the Herc combo, to have 2 tops sent out in replacement? If you are going through the old stock, it would seem to make sense for the Herc users (or maybe just me). I can stomach everything I have read and it all has it's place. But HOLY SMOKES it would be nice to know I have a back up.

G - I don’t think you have upgraded chrome heads. I sent my chrome single in Aug and I received a black head in return. No issue for me though. I can less about color... But might want to double check to be sure.

oh thats because we didnt have chrome at that time, we have them now. If you want we can replace it to chrome, just saying we might not have them some times but we have them now.

There is definitely some "goo" left under the coil. Have not run it enough to know if that will vape off without assistance.

That would be cool if G made a KISS cart with a circular plate of porous ceramic (instead of the rod) that fits into the ceramic cup and had a coil that wrapped across/around the ceramic plate for maximum coverage. That would get huge hits!! And the ceramic would absorb everything so everything could be vaped off. The biggest challenge would be how to wrap the ceramic with the wire. Or maybe have the wire wrap around the outside of the disk on the edge. So many cool ideas!

Guys we have been researching this type of cartridges for over two years we already have a few generations lined up, since we never fully cared for these designs as we think it's inferior to that of the Hercules it's gonna be a months at most until we get to the third and fourth generations.

This is just testing the waters and getting feed back so we know what's next.

Tech exists just not practical. Losses are to much, you get about 10-20% return from solvents, alcohol takes away the waxes, and water extracts add plant matter unless you go with a tumbler where you extract the keif.

Its a weird process we have actually gotten it to work, but taste is just horrible.

With our technique its more of about 2-5% returns. But it is clean so trade off i guess.

Two week hiatus to cool down and I decided to try the Herc out again today. I mean, I'm not perfect. I could just be fucking up, right?

I try the Black Rod again for the second time since buying. Not only does it not heat up, the fucker gets stuck inside of the chamber. I try every method used to prize the White Rod out, and nothing works. Finally, after wrapping the bottom of the rod in a bit of cloth to protect it, I try to use pliers to spin it out, and something happens!

THE ROD BROKE. So now I try to take out the remaining piece from within in the heating chamber, and guess what, IT SNAPS THERE TOO. Now I have an amazingly durable piece of ceramic stuck inside the top chamber. I don't know what kind of weapons grade ceramic is used in production, but NOTHING got it out. I ended up having to bend the thread slots away and knock that piece of shit out with no small measure of effort and with the loss of one of the thread slots. Cool! Now it matches my receiving slot.

So now I have a broken Black Rod, a broken top chamber, a gram of wax, and absolutely no faith left. I am down to my last one percent with trying to make this work. I mean, my first Persei comes broken. My Herc comes broken then blows the brand new tops I drove to LA to swap out. And I'm not sure the San Diego session really fixed the issue more than make the Herc work for about 3 days. Ever since it's been on and off performance.

Now don't get me wrong, when the Hercules works it kicks ass. But mine works less than half the time and that sucks ass. I'm tired of wasting time and money. Of reading everyone else's success and feeling like a retard. I'm really appreciative @THCSCIENTIFIC that you even drove here to help, but it really shouldn't take a trip by the manufacturer to have the product resemble what it should be. And really, my friends with G Pens shouldn't be able to top the performance of the Persei, they should be tripping over themselves asking about the Hercules. But they can't. Because mine has always been broken.

Now what can I do to get this fixed permanently? To not spend half my afternoon trying to get it to work. To get it working, set it down, and have it not working again? It's not user error any more, I have ruled that out in such meticulous, soul sucking trouble shooting.

G, I need a new unit that you can guarantee, without a doubt, and without a drive to San Diego, works. Please. I'm done wasting time, money, oil, and happiness. I take wax to lower High blood pressure, dude. Not to increase it.

edit: As I go to the sink to retrieve my pieces drying from alcohol, I knocked the mouthpiece in to the drain. Today gets better and better.

Please ship the whole unit back all the pieces you have. I have to see what is wrong with it the kit and why your having issues.

As far as guarantee that the kit works thats not possible because of the human factor. I am trying my best here. I will see whats going on and let you know.

I was thinking if you could embed the wire into the base of the ceramic cup (like under-floor heating) that would work great.

oh thats done too. I have it sitting here. Just not practical. I even spoke to a person on here about it. Just for shits and giggles.

Guys please throw ideas out there. Im pretty sure the industry will catch up one day.

But like i said 2 years research and i have 2nd 3rd and 4th generation already done or almost done. testing restarted this week since this is what people want. I have no clue as to why as the durability is not even close to the Hercules and flavor.
