Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

My initial impressions are very positive. I used it with the WT with three friends over three bullets. Took a minute to get used to the draw but once that was good it was a great first experience. Greatly impressed by how much of a difference the WT made.

Battery lasted total maybe 35 draws but there was a lot if fumbling in between most if the draws. The taste was okay nothing to really write home about but I have tasted much worse. I think the pro is going to be my primary unit for a little while.

So I received my pro yesterday and I absolutely love it!!!!!!!! My girl was home when the device arrived around noon and immediately put it on the charger to prepare for my evening arrival. When I got home I packed it full, rather loose (especially compared to my pax), and did my first session on level 2 on my way to pick my son up from football practice. By the time I got there I was stoned. I love the free draw, the taste is a huge upgrade from my pax which is my only other vape, and I felt like I would have if I had just smoked. I haven't smoked in about 2 1/2 weeks, and though I love the high I get from my pax, this just seemed like a fuller high. Needless to say I'm hooked. I stopped by my cousins house after practice, finished the bullet with them (it was 3 of us) reloaded did another bullet and I was on cloud nine!!!!!! I started both bullets on two and kept it there thru the the first session and halfway thru the second, did the third sessions on three until there was no vape left. Even after the vape stopped on three I would crank it up to four but still not get anymore vape, so I guess it vaporizes pretty evenly. Can't wait to see how this thing performs with a wt when I finally convince myself to purchase one.

Side note: it is 9:00 were I'm at right now and I swear I still feel the effects from my sessions last night

Just realized I used this thing all last night without the mouthpiece, I never read the quick guide until just now

After trying a few times I'll stick with packing the bullet semi tight. I scooped it up then tamped it down with a toothpick then refilled to the top. The hits are more solid and of course longer lasting from more material and maybe improved the flavor too. Id try packing it if you haven't yet.

^^^ I pack mine down with a big Allen key, so I would say I actually did pack it "semi tight"', I just meant a didn't pack it nearly as I as tight is I would my pax. But on another note do you stir yours between sess because I haven't and I was wondering if it would make a difference

The main reason I advised packing loose is because when I packed it tight the draw became too restrictive for my tastes. But I can see that if you're coming from a pax (or a solo for that matter), draw restriction may not be as much of an issue. It's nice to know that the pp satisfies both ways!

Are you guys getting more than 1 good session out of a bullet at 3? I seem to be burning through an entire bullet when i start it at at a 3. I try the same bullet at a 4 and nothing really comes out, any tips? or is this standard.

I'm getting the same result.

I see. This is my first vape so im not sure how the efficiency stacks up with other brands, it certainly uses up more flowers than combustive methods, however my herb bill at it's highest peak pales in comparison to any of my friend's monthly bar tabs so i'm not too banged up about spending a little more.

I tend to use this on 2 (and I get very visible vapor with very good effect...I am a heavy, high tolerance user and find 2 more than adequate). At 2, I can get 2 sessions from one bullet. I honestly haven't felt a need to even try using this at 3 (unless using it with the WT), so I'm not sure how much faster it goes at that level. What I do know is that I found it impossible to get 2 sessions on medium on the Pax (my preferred temp) without horrible degradation in flavor, and the Pinnacle Pro has impressed me particularly with how I can get a decent second session. I tend to have a 8-minute session every morning before work, then at lunch I finish off the rest of that morning's bullet. So far this has worked well for me (although as a heavy user, I tend to start another session/bullet at the end of my lunch. :D

Did anyone ever figure out a good way to clean the mouthpiece/screen? I've been using the brush to clean it after every use, but I have a feeling that eventually it will get pretty clogged with honey.

I would think ISO on a qtip would work well for the screen. Has anyone attempted ISO on the mp or pong yet?

I have found using undiluted Simple Green to work well. You can buy it by the gallon from Home Depot or Lowes . It's non toxic and biodegradable. I soak my bullets and screens in it overnight sometimes and I'm good to go.

Simple Green ruined my OG PonG since it is alcohol based. It will be interesting to see how the new materials react . . .

I just use it on the bullets and screens. I don't really have an effective way of cleaning the mouthpiece itself.

Hmm. I have Simple Green (always use it to clean my glass) but it looks like it might be harmful to the plastic. I wish the screen was easy to take in and out (like the "elbow" screen on the EQ) so I could just plop it in a cup of SG and let it soak overnight.

I did a real quick iso rinse with all the new stuff but no plastic was soaked at all. Didn't think about it at the time.

I think I figured out how pieces was getting down in the heater. Every time I would place the mp/pong on while the pro was heating and I think small pieces stuck to the mp screen would fall from it heating. Then again it's all bullshit if I can't get it to stop but I don't really see any other way for that large of stuff to get through that fine screen in the bullet.

I really do love my pinnacle man I just wish the taste was a little better. VB is the type of company to build off of previous units. They actually take the customer criticism into consideration. As you can see with the pinnacle (people want portability) now with the pro (people wanted battery indicator and more temps ) the point is I am sure VBs next unit will be great.

My PRO is still going strong! I'm really loving this thing. One piece of advice: Get the water tool! The PRO is still quite good without it, but it brings taste, smoothness, clouds, and overall performance to an even higher level. You can always use the water tool with your other vapes w/a 14 mm GONG adapter.

Works well on small or large loads. Tamp down lightly in either case...don't pack it too tight. The efficiency and rock solid reliability are the same for the PRO as they were for the regular PN. If you like high temp vaping, set the PRO on "3". VERY STONY/Couchlock/Pain relief/sleepy time cannabinoids. I'm really baked right now...

If I had to change anything, it would be to somehow make the screens easier to put back in after they've been removed for cleaning. It's almost impossible to get the screen back in without mangling it. I have 2 PONGS, one dark and one clear. I'm going to try soaking the dark one in 50% ISO and see what happens.

Taste is good on level 2, clouds are better on level 3 but taste suffers a bit, clouds are super thick on level 4 but use the watertube. I have not tried green herb on level 5 but I have used it to milk an almost-spent bullet and not combusted, actually the avb stayed surprisingly light in color.

Hey all,
I am happy to say that I am an owner of a Pinnacle Pro. Ordered it Friday night, so I'm pretty excited. Waiting for shipping is great compared to the never-ending abyss of delays. Psst... Jumped ship from another not ready for prime-time vaporizer and glad to see some friendly faces here.

Also happy to hear that QC is a priority and so are we. Thanks @TherealVaporblunt & @Engineering.

I feel the mouth piece gives off the most smell and this is why. It's easy to clean the top but what about the sides of the screen next to the plastic? Am I suppose to be able to pop this screen out? I don't want to destroy the screen and rather not let the whole mouth piece sit in ISO

Edit: I also use a the eraser side of a number 2 pencil to pack my bullets, fits perfect

Wow, I have a CRAZY idea.

Make a mouthpiece that incorporates Keck clips.

So the adapter is a full 14mm male exterior to 14/5mm male interior all glass. And it attaches to the plastic domed/shelled part via a 14mm Keck clip on the outside. The bottom of the plastic female end of the 14/5 receiver has a lip so that a screen is able to be sandwiched in between when all used together.

voilà. Patent Pending design.
