Aren't the Ascent jars ovular like the Ascent bowl, which is larger in volume than the Solo bowl? If so, the jar wouldn't fit the Solo bowl, and Solo stem wouldn't seal with the Ascent jar. Thinking out loud:p

This is how I love to clean my pinnacle tube (I think the F-Bomb essentially identical):

It fits perfectly in the small size ziplocs, you can use a tiny amount of iso and just shake it

Arizer Solo in da house! Always impressed with Arizer's engineering and build quality, EQV was my go to vape before VXC hit scene. Can see why Solo is so popular, the design is more polished than many competing vapes and it's priced right -- under $140. Model # is MIA4914130. Charged, did burn off, and tested first load. A little hard to draw at first, prolly packed too tight. Taste should improve with easier draw but first bowl tasted a tad harsh. Bought PV GonG but have't tested yet. Primarily want to use Solo as portable so won't go crazy with PA mods and other stuff -- OF was kind enough to offer though. Thanks for all the support and input. Great to join the Solo club!

Hey, I got a new aroma tube for my solo, and it is working great so far. It is very loose compared to the other two though, there is no friction holding it in, so it would definitely drop out by itself if the unit was held upside down with the aroma tube in, but I don't mind this at all it is better I think.

Does anybody have any tips on getting a more even heating on the contents? I start at 3/4 and work up to 6, but I find the bottom of the ABV is very dark while the top is still quite light yellow.

The jiggle in the stem while drawing will allow you to regulate more air from the sides and add convection. This also opens up the intake making it easier to breath in. A loose stem can be a very good thing (think of it as part of the design)!

Welcome new Solo club members ,
ask away ...

Update :
It's too bad , the oil jars won't fit in the Solo stems .
I've been doing the oil dab sandwich method , with my 2nd and 3rd batches of qwiso .
Which I'll be making more btw .

But back to the oil sandwiches ,
I really find that you get ' Extra ' Hits when adding a dab , and full flavor cloud hits to boot .
Once the oil melts into the herbs , it seems to make the weed last longer without getting popcorn like .

here's some pics ,

The darker oil is made from aprox. 14 g of trim and shake collected over the past 6 - 8 mths .
CDJgkwU.jpg

The lighter oil is made from aprox. 10 g of top shelf buds , with a warm water bath .
H6wTJbR.jpg

I got it Yummy thick and gooey .
AmXFTuj.jpg

The pile on the right shows the oil drip , and the left one shows it half covered .
I like to get the drip covered up and in the middle of the pile , so it doesn't stain the chamber or screens .

Hey all,

I just got a new Solo and I cannot get the glass stems to fit. Per the instructions, I heat it up to 7 and let it sit for 12 minutes and still I cannot get the stems in. I can fit the potpourri dish, but neither the straight nor the angled one fit. I'm afraid to push much harder for fear of breaking the glass. Has anyone else experienced this and have a solution?

Thanks!

Yes , that's normal at the beginning .
they will loosen up soon after a few usages .
Keep it a 7 a bit more and try twisting it in .

try taking off the top cap and then forcing with very even pressure directly into the solo, it may seem like it takes WAY too much force, but that is what is usually required with a new solo.

Next week I'll try and make an essential oil jar for the Solo, we'll see how it works out.

I personally haven't found much benefit from using a domed screen, although a screen is a must for me. I'd love to have an all glass solution but I can't tolerate my stems looking so dirty after just a few uses even with a coarse grind. Naturally using a screen allows for a finer grind and consequently denser vapor, along with bowls which take less time to imbibe.

As the others have said, get the unit nice and hot, and gently attempt to push it past the point of resistance while rotating the stem. This video after the 2 minute mark should be a little helpful.

Nice , can you give a few more details ?
It will fit inside the chamber , so the herb doesn't touch the SS ?
Is it going to be a round tub shape ?
Like an inside cap before loading it into the heating chamber ?

I don't think so ,
you see the guy in the vid inhale thru the bottom part .
Which means there is an opening and the oil will drip out if inserted in the Solo .

But I like the shape of it , just an enclosed bottom for total glass effect is what I want .
Keep the tip narrow to the top like the Omi-tips , but much easier to load than in the vid ,
also easy to clean . Which is why I suggested the stem to be in 2 pieces that comes apart . ( earlier post )
You can fill it easier and clean it too .

Always in a state of confusion and silliness♀
Vito put up another vid of a glass bottle inside the solo with an eq stem so I think that should solve your issue.
