Please do, G, this stuff is too expensive for some of us to be wasting. I normally appropriate wax purchases by the paycheck, and I just burned through two weeks of wax without two weeks of effect.

I just weighed all three of my coils. The two unused coils weighed 1.6g and the coil I've been using is 2.05g, so there is definitely some oil in the coil but it doesn't give off vapor. Can you post a pic showing what the coil looks like when properly seated around the heating rod?

Yes, but I put .6 in today. That's on top of the other .5 to 1g I previously tried to run through it. So essentially, I should be past the .5 buffer by now but I still haven't gotten any successful hits.

@kindbeats did u check the very bottom of the lower core chamber? Most of my oil ended up there sitting at the bottom as well as coating the lower chamber walls.

I took apart and cleaned my Hercules before you asked me and I didn't find much oil. It was much less messier than the v1 Herc. I definitely didn't see anything close to the amount that I've put into this thing.

UPDATE: I just put another .1 or so in and nada. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but apparently a lot of others are doing the same thing. Even if I was to try and troubleshoot with G via skype, I can't afford to put more wax in. Oil isn't $25 a gram here, it's $60. As much as I want to get this thing up and running, I literally can't afford to troubleshoot the problem. I was under the impression that this cart could do everything from holding a gram to acting as a load as you go device. So far, I wish I could get my old Hercules back. Is there any chance of that being a possibility?

I know I already asked this, but can you please post a picture of what the coil should look like when properly seated around the heating rod? The only thing I can think of is that the coil isn't seated fully around the rod but I have nothing to compare it to.

i think you should weigh out all your parts, put in some more oil and try to run it. If no go then you should take it apart and weight out all your parts again and find out where your oil went, giving you a clue to what the problem might be?

I take out the coil or tanks to use hash or pollen pellets.

I wish I could afford to do that but I don't have enough oil right now. I don't use flower at all and rely on my concentrates. Unfortunately, oil is $60 where I am and I just don't have the option of hitting up the store for more. I need to make sure what I still have left lasts me until I can grab or make more. Hopefully someone else who has a bit more oil to burn (no pun intended...ah fuck it, yes it was) can figure this problem out as I know I'm not the only one having it.

anaheim used to have some dope prices and some good oil. but now theres only delivery over there last i heard. this one place had 3g's for $60 of some pretty good puregold honeycomb wax

I was just visiting my friend in Colorado and prices varied from $25 - $30 for waxes and shatters. Only things that cost more were nectars and Top Shelf Extracts shatter which cost $40.

A shop called Gaia sells Top Shelf Extracts shatter. The deal is buy 3 grams at $40 each and get a fourth gram for one penny. I live in the wrong fucking state.

Yea it's all delivery here. Most oil wax or shatter is 55-60 a gram for top shelf. Plus I usually tip the driver. Blew threw almost 3g of co2 honey oil this weekend with my Hercules. Mostly not in a fun way.

The fact of the matter is that I opened up my Herc, looked at it and came to the conclusion that the walls had nowhere close to the amount of oil that I have run through the unit. I'm not exactly conservative with my oil but I sure as shit don't have .5 at a time to keep throwing in hoping the thing starts to function the way it is supposed to. Call me crazy, but I'm one of those people that doesn't want to have to troubleshoot a product multiple times. I don't have an interest in taking things apart and figuring out what's wrong with them. We pay a price named by a company so that they can worry about those things and we can enjoy the product hassle free.

That happened to me as well while i was troubleshooting my leaking issue. I think it was either overfilled or overheated and the oil was getting splashed up into the SS hat and filter. That seemed to happen more than once, but typically after a fresh fill.

Only ever did get a few "good" (made me cough) rips.

Dude, I just checked out the prices of some shops in your area and there is tons of good wax and shatter for $40 and $50 a gram. Have you tried using weedmaps?

EDIT: Yikes! Besides the good prices that I mentioned, I just found this horror story on weedmaps. TopShelfMeds.com charges $140 for a gram of wax!?

This is typically where I shop. I'm a big fan of the Organalabs Honey Oil syringes that they stock (if you find those, buy you some), as well as their house shatters/oils.

edit: looks like they are low on stock, they usually have a few different shatters and oils on the menu as well. In any case, those go for $55-60/g too.

The prices you see are pretty much uniform for my area. There is one place, though, selling barometric (?) extracted nectar for $80/g. I didn't really care for the taste of it when I tried it. Both times.
