Discontinued Thermovape Cera

If Zeki cant fix it (CE, instructions, warning etc.) I'm not really confident the customs will not pick it out the next time!
Time will tell!?

Who can say about such things. CE is an electrical safety issue. Minus mains operation and battery you have table ware (ceramics and metals) with no electricity in sight.

Let's look at this another way. If they mailed you the end cap, tube and cart in 3 packages, where is the sin? Which of those pieces violates CE? Which needs instructions? Do instructions come with cups and saucers? Or forks?

There is often no logic to such things, but I bet Zeki makes it happen. As I said before, he's a dangerous guy to say "can't" to.

Good luck, looking forward to your usage report. BTW, which version? Last I was there (long ago) good bud didn't exist and the hash was pressed?

Update:

We got back a large batch of welded Titanium interfaces! They are in the process of being assembled and should start having them ship out this week to get all caught up.

What does he mean byTI interfaces? Sorry im just not familiar with the cera parts too well, i get my first delivered Monday though!

TI means Titanium; he's referring to a component of the Cera body that they were waiting on for titanium orders.

I knew it was titanium, I just didn't know if he meant it was a new titanium part that replaced an old one. Thanks though.

It's not, I don't think. Exactly the same parts, just assembled differently.

TV has used "interface" to mean the section the cart hooks (interfaces) to. What I usually call the screw plate.

In assembly the SS plate and strap are attached to each other (soldered now), then they are installed leaving a tab at the bottom which is tinned (coated with solder). The ring (again tinned in the right spot, is coated in epoxy and pressed into place. Then, before the glue sets, the junction below is heated so the solder on both sides melts and bonds (a standard technique, using a bit of added flux to keep any oxides out of the key spots. Lots of skill and fiddling, but it seems to work well usually.

The new scheme for Ti parts calls for welding all 3 pieces to each other I think. It's then slipped plate first up the tube, into place in one shot. I think.

I'm planning to go in Monday and check it out, I'll let folks know what I find.

Hopefully you are right about 'table ware' OF.
Maybe you will laugh, I was just on a birthday party and guess what I saw on a beer glass, right a CE sign!

BTW I purchased only the ss ll cera, because of the mostly 'good stuff' you will find here, you really find good stuff, but you have to search for it!
Not to think about oils or shatter or butter or what else you lucky guys over there can get with almost no problems, complete different story over here!
Some folks here think (me too) now is the time to change, because of whats going on in your country or even in europe (Spain, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Swiss, Austria and some others) all around are beginning to change their minds, maybe with some more pressure from the people it will reach us too?

OF, what did you think about the charger in the link I posted, will it work for our demand?

The VP1? Fairly rare over here, but very well rated it seems. The one Amp charge rate will be handy, it should get you full charges (not always with lower charge rate chargers).

Have you selected the 'right' battery? The ones TV sells are my recommendation, worth the search IMO. You also want 2 so you can swap a fresh in if you doubt the charge (no indicator on Cera).

Does anyone know if TV sells the grommets for connecting to glass? I don't want to use the silicon sleeve, as I am modding the MP with a drip tip.

TIA!

Yeah OF, I already got two of the CGR 18650 CH 2250mAh (one for $7.13) from the same shop.
The one TV have I cant find, I know its an Orbtronic though.

I think I'm waiting to purchase the VP1 till I have cera in my hands!

Damn I think it's time for me to send her in. Mines definitely not producing like any of the videos I've seen. Slow heat up time an not as thick as that.

Could be the reasoning why I feel I must mod my mouthpiece?

It's working just def seems out of funk compared to these others.

Super, sounds like you're in tall cotton battery wise when the Cera makes it to you (how's that for positive thinking?). You might also poke around a little for the 'other Xtar' the WP2. No fancy display but half the price. Seems to be more popular here for that reason? Will also charge your phone and other gear from a charged 18650 if that interests you?

Best wishes,

Yeah, mines being packaged up and sent in tomorrow. Slow heat up time here too.
Probably why my LL cart seems useless.

the vids up there are of the oil cart, not flower.
Lol obviously. I would be AMAZED if that was from the LL cart.

If this was directed at me, I know that. I own both. My EO doesn't produce like this, still fatty clouds, just not as easy or as thick as these recent vids.

But the EO isn't my concern.

My power in the Cera is my concern and its limiting the power in both my cores is what it feels like.

I think we have a good chance of having it that way, mine shipped a day after they said they got the new parts, so i cant imagine why they would give us the old ones.

That happened to me, and I felt like my technique was off. I had to switch to open flow to get it working. But after I received it back from repair, the original mouth piece works way better, and in general the device is firing on all cylinders.

I would check your heat up time. With a fresh 2250, you should see the core glow in about 3.5 seconds and at full brilliance at 20-25 seconds. I actually took a video as a reminder to compare it to when I feel like my Cera may not be working properly. Before my Cera died, I'd say the glow was about 30-40% as bright as the repaired device. If the glow looks dull, you may require repair or a tweak.

Just for the record the first video is actually the last and it was thinning out, the other vid was more accurate!!!!
Also i was boiling my core and iso soaking when i noticed that the top ceramic wafer was missing.
I lost the ceramic wafer in the cleaning process(SO BE CAREFUL) so now I use it without till i can buy a replacement and then send this core in to get fixed...........................I noticed that it produces a bit quicker now that the Essential oils are sitting right on top of the ceramic disc's & coil!!!!! needless to say I love it to much to send her in yet, I need a good back up first..................................
.....But I will be sending her in

Hey what battery were you using in the video?

Nice, I'm still using the stock 2900 mah battery and I have a feeling the warmup time for the CEO could be quicker with the 2250 mah. Is that what you've experienced?

This is what I'm noticing...but more testing is required to make sure it's not the placebo effect for me. Seems like im gettinge denser clouds. But just to make sure, I we t ahead and ordered 6 more 2250s yesterday.

The warmup time with the 2250 should be noticeably shorter for the first 20% of the charge in the battery. After that (the last 80% of the Cera usable charge in the battery) the 2500 and the 2900 batteries should be pretty much the same (again, when used in the Cera).
