Arizer Solo

Guys, I gotta say this thing is unreal. My previous complaints mean nothing compared to how well this thing performs. High flow would be 'optimal', but like seriously, OPTIMAL. It does the job perfectly well stock - three stems rocked about 6 people quite easily.

So happy with this thing.

Totally gone from this thing by the way haha... cheers everyone!

Told you man, and the stems and flow get better after use. Give it another 2 weeks and you'll be surprised. I've had mine for 4 months and 1 stem still gets me nice and toasty.

Any chance you have a bong/waterpipe with a 14mm bowl? The solo's stem fits perfectly in there without any adapters.

Try having the same 6 people but this time with the bong, literally gets you RIPPPED. Battery runs down quicker though, so 3 people would be ideal with a water pipe.

You're gonna love this thing, I'm waiting on some cash so I can pick up the power adapter. I've gotten caught twice in 4 months when the charge was too low, so not too big a deal but still a nice accessory. The stock stems are perfect after a little use though.

You did get some .5" SS screens to keep them clean right?

Glad your liking it. The solo is amazing vape as it easy to use, reliable, great taste, great efficiency and it gets you medicated well.

Most vapes out there fail at one or more of these in my book which is what makes the Solo so special. Can't wait to see if the inhalator can keep up with the Solo like a few other FC'ers have indicated.

100% agree!!! I really can't locate a portable vape that doesn't have a couple of major flaws except the Solo and the Inhalater!
And even the Inhalater shouldn't be included in that imaginary "perfect" portable vape list until the capsules drop to 1$ or something close, otherwise the cost of use rises with time...

Do you still smell robot farts in your M107???
I own an M107 and an M1D and none of them smell bad...
I think the same about heat up time, newer is faster, but IMO, I think my M107 runs a little bit hotter than my M1D.
Stems fit tighter in my M107 than my M1D.
Taste and performance are almost the same as well.

The only farts I smell are my own sir...

How many folks here have the power adapter and use it regularly?

I've only ran out of charge twice in 4 months so I'm not sure if I'll benefit from buying it. I would also need an inverter as I planned on using it in the car if I did buy it.

Question.... If you were shopping with portability as the main factor and only planning to buy one of the upgraded stems would you get;

the GONG because it is small and possibly less fragile (is it thicker?)
or... one of Ed's because it won't ever break (but is bigger as a trade off)?

Those who have the current GONG stem, would you throw a MFLB battery cap on it and toss it in your pocket with no worries, or does it still feel like a really fragile piece? Anyone direct draw of that GONG? How is it?....I would plan to use it that way on the go. TIA

I wouldn't necessarily throw it in my pocket and forget it but I do carry it my eye glass casefrom time to time. If you take any advice from me take this - do not get the stem with a carb on it - that little son bitch gets hot as hell and can become quite bothersome on your last few tokes.

Good to know buddy. I was debating back and forth on whether to get the carb or no carb version. You can't tell from the pics where they place the carb hole on the website so I didn't know if it would get to hot or not during use. I went no carb and now I'm definitively happy I did. Besides I like to push it to the limit and vape on 7 quite often and the stem does get rather hot.

I was advised by Mr. Jurassic ,
to get the PA , because I do vape a lot .
Well worth it .

The first week I had my Solo , without the PA .
It ran out of power on the way home after work . arrrrrrgg .
Now with the PA , I just used that for about an hour in the morning , before I leave for work .
And that leaves me enough portable power , for the transit home . Whewwww.

Make sure you get a 3 pronged inverter for the car .

And ,
Saran wrap works great for pre-loaded stems .
No more mflb rubber caps for me .

Happy Cannabizing Y'all :)

I might as well get the PA, its not like I'm getting rid of it anytime soon.

Problem with saran wrap is I want to use the caps to cover warm stems as well, which the rubber caps do relatively well. Saran wrap would simply melt right away, and i know this as I accidnetly touched a warm stem on a plastic baggie and it melted quicker than I expected.

Was planning on picking up the PA from Theothersidevapes on Amazon, mainly because I have like $60 in account balance there. Sucks no one but PV carries the MFLB battery caps, but they're not really a neccessity, just make it easier.

Good call on the 3 prong inverter. I thought about that but completely forgot when searching online for prices

Biggest thing is vapor bonging runs down the battery pretty quick, almost twice as fast as hitting it dry. Then again I am milking the hell out of a 12" tube.

Had a friend over that had never used the solo, he only has a LB for on the go, let him try the solo and he is off to buy his own! You gotta love the way this unit delivers hard hitting clouds every time!

Oh and new design granadillo solo stems will be back available in short supply tomorrow morning, so you better jump on em!

Hey Poonman, lol i'm glad you are happy with the PA. It's a must IMO. Happy to hear you like the saran wrap better than the rubber caps too.

I'm glad I can kinda post now... very slow, but at least possible, for now. cheers.

I sure do love using my Solo on when away from home. So far out of all my portables, it's been my main go to for reliable performance!! I have been teaming it up with a small bub/J hook combo & gong stem. I am finding that I have a hard time using vaporizers with out some kind of water conditioning. The dry heat just tears my throat up after a few sessions. Btw, in light of this development I have decided to let go of my bog oak stem in the classifieds, since it just isn't getting much use. I much prefer the water cooled vapor when ever possible. I know there are plans for some kind of water stem from PV in the planning stages, so I hope they work something out that isn't too big, for stealth purposes. That would make my Solo set up complete.

Ordered the PA last night and just received an email saying it got shipped out. Should be here in the next few days.

Happy that it'll prolong the life of my battery a little bit and also allow me to vapor bong without worrying about draining down my battery so fast.

Kind of expensive for a power adapter but couldn't find anything that puts out 8.5V w/ 5A, oh well, not like I'm getting rid of the Solo till it dies

For those with a GonG stem who believe their precious little piece of glass needs a little more protection... :D

20ml... Can also double as an ISO bath container if you close the little needle hole at the other end with something (I melted and molded the plastic around the hole after cutting it back). Airtight too for those curious noses around you!

Conclusion: Glass stems are perfect for oil (fast big hits and faster heat up time) and Ed's stems are amazing for sippin' on herb. But i have to be honest, if i want a fast herb bowl ill reach for the glass. Ed's stems IMO are for people who are taking time with their bowls and just enjoying the taste (And i love the fact that it feels like a fat ass cigar on my lips!). Also i gotta add that Ed's stems are perfect for taking hits out of the bong and then taking a dry hit right after. Don't think you would want to with the GonG stems!! Anyways this is just a high ramble! vape on!:peace:

I find it neither stealthy or portable. In fact it doesn't look very "stealth". lot's of lights, a stem sticking out.. and not portable in the fact you can't just put it in your pocket assembled and be ready to vape somewhere instantly. Ok yes you can pop everything in a case, but when i think portable I think of put back in pocket after use. If I'm using a stem, I'll wait till it cools down before loading another. Hots stems don't feel very portable IMO. I like my solo, mostly for my micro dab. Still use it sometimes but only when I sit down for a good session that I have time for. Defiantly better "portable stealth" options out there. Give a newb the solo, and they will pull the stem out or burn themselves unless you get it through to them not to do these things. Each has pros and cons. At any rate, I'm glad we have so many options and people to provide their views and experiences. your right though I do love that smooth milky vapor keeps coming and coming (gotta keep the solo guys happy on the solo thread!)
It is very portable. I use mine lften now while riding a motorcycle - put it in breast pocket, pull unit to mouth to use. Works like a charm. I never use my MFLB. I haven't used the Iolites for a couple months now. But the Solo is IMHO extremely portable. As for stealth, I guess I'd have to ask a cop what is stealthy...

With so many new portables these days, why don't we start distinguishing between portables and pocketables eh? ;)
I mean, with my lifestyle, I need a portable unit for all around my house which I can easily put in a small pack and take it with me when going to a friend's house or under the green roof of the trees by the river. So what I need is just portability and the Solo is sold as a portable and it does the job perfectly.
Other people need stealthiness more of course and sipping on the sweet vapor while on the move and in public... For them the new units are doing a much better job I guess.
The thought of being able to vaporize while riding my bicycle is certainly alluring but in the end I prefer to take a 5-10 min break and enjoy the vapor while looking at the view. Less dangerous too...
So, different needs for different lifestyles... Vape on!!!

Ili - I agree 100%, everybody has a very different idea of what's portable.
