The serial number issues and old ceramic problems should be long gone....if any retailers are selling ceramic solos with 2 hole stems i'd be very surprised.
You'll be surprised how many LHS still carry M-102 and M-103 in the NW area.
I always told them about what's going on with them, but they don't have a clue. Some of the retailers not even vaporize, employees never even test one before. Like trying to sell me a car without knowing how to drive.
They open wide eyes when I told them about how big clouds you can make with a Solo, some even told me they never get vapor from them :)
I can give you a list of LHS that still sell those M102s & M103s. I can call them ASAP. Make you a list.
Then you can call and ask about mailing and pricing, If you explain them the issues, maybe they even give you a big deal, they have them forever, nobody buys them...

I received the M107 today finally so as a result of a company with poor shipping quality control, (who shall remain nameless) I currently have 3 x Arizer Solo models, the M103, M104 and M107 and am going to keep one or 2, but wanted to be able to really compare them side by side. I Will report back later with my findings. I as a newbie also want to confess it is quite intimidating to read 300+ pages, so I also apologize in advance for any ?s that may have been answered perviously but I'm not sure when I'll have time to read all those messages unfortunately.

Anyway, I was wondering if there are any diagrams of closeups of the PV stems anywhere? I have been able to experience the difference in airflow from the looser fit M104 model stems to the M103/107 which are tighter and I do like having the 2 different feels in the drawing flow of each.

I have 2 of the 2-hole bent stems that were included with the M104 as well as the new ones that I just got witht he M107, one straight and one bent 4-hole versions that I quite like so far, but they definitely still need screens. I really don't like the particles that always seem to get through without a physical extra screen installed. I am completely blown away by how efficient this unit is, all 3 units are pretty comparable overall, I am getting approx. 10-20 respectable draws per .05 session, although I've had to get used to allowing the material to dryout a bit for best results. I am starting at 2, taking a couple draws, then go up one or 2 lights depending on how solid the bowl is hitting. I then go to 5 after about 4-6 good solid hits, also I do agree that it hits well when you let the herb heatup with the solo itself, then once it hits the target temp, let it sit for another 30 seconds or so, then that first draw is so incredible sweet and tasty it's wonderful!

Then, wait a bit, and the next few draws are usually a bit denser although the flavor after hit one is never as sweet although still fine for another 2-4 before bumping it up again. Once the vapor slows down at 2, I bump to 3 or 4, let it heaT up for 30 seconds or so the higher temp can release more vapor, then draw slow to see if it's hitting, then see if I can get another 3-5 draws at that temp, then move up another 1 or 2 until you are at 6 or 7 then just draw until you don't get any more vapor at all. I usually get some real stony effects although the draws lose their appeal tastewise at the high temp although it does lose a lot of the flavor the medication benefits are noticeable. I'm sure it's a personal thing as to how far you want to extract from your material. You can truly get well over 100 hits a day on less than .5 of a gram, maybe upwards of even 150 draws. That's around 10 hits an hour throughout a 10-15 hour day at around half a gram a day. THis is a great device, I'm extremely happy with it. Just debating now about keeping one of the ceramic based units, the M104 with the looser fit, just to have some options. Different materials behave differently so the more tweak potential you have the better. Am also looking forward to the PVHES stems for the supposed benefits they provide.

zangano, are these open box?
I turn the units on but I didn't try to heat them. Next time I'll remember to turn the temp. up and ask the guys if I can smell robot farts. Then I'll post again if stinks or not. They are around $239 to $259 if I'm correct.
IMO if you are local and you like to bargain, it could be a nice deal. It's like memorabilia :)
"Remember the old m102&3 with robot farts grandson" :) jajaja

I recently bought an arizer solo m102, but I've got a problem with it
after charging it, it didn't go off and still doesn't go off
so it's continually on, even when it tries to shut off after 10min by it self it just jumps back on

shahir,
what are you on here asking us for? I'd contact the person you bought it from or Arizer themselves. Sounds like a software problem :)

I have the Solo M107, but have recently gotten wind of a newer M1D model. Has anyone compared these two models side by side? If so, are there any noticeable differences? Thanks in advance.

Hey all,

i purchased a Solo which was advertised as "the newest Version blabla" and got a M106.
What do you think, should I send it back?
Is there a big difference to the newer models?

Thanks and sorry if this has been answered before

No, I have used all sorts of models and the changes between each are very small. You should complain to them and posture and see what they will do but in reality the solo will still rock.

They said that the M106 arrived after they sold all M107s. They contacted Arizer and they stated that there is no difference between the two. Guess I will keep it anyway as it works really good :D

Thanks, now to reading this 300 pages...

Now I know why I gotta stop checking in this thread so often, if it all. The sad part is that this stuff isn't even deep in the thread, it's not very far back at all, because I remember answering some of them.

Would the solo be good with honey oil hash? The kind that's like play dough until it's heated, then it liquifies. Thanks

Works fine with herb. Without herb would be a disaster

Herb then a little oil and then some more herb

Greetings all! I am trying to decide if I should get one of these or if I just have VAS...
Currently I have an Underdog that rocks at home and a MFLB that is very stealthy on the go. Was considering getting one of these for a heavy hitting on the go, but not sure how "portable" it is (the Yosemite pic is a good selling point BTW). Do most of you use it at home, or on the go? How easily do the the glass stems travel and how fragile are they? Let's here some "I took my Solo here" type tales if you have them. I can think of times it would trump the MFLB on the go, but not sure if it validates the (new and more attractive) price of $160. TIA!

I consider it "backpack portable" (or purse), but not "pocket portable". From my research however, every smaller vape sacrifices something (hit size, accessibility for beginners, battery life, etc.). I do not consider it a direct replacement for a MFLB, but I do recommend it heavily.

Just got my Solo in the mail today from PuffItUp.com and it only took 2 days to get here from CA. This is the first time I've ordered from them but damn that's some good customer service and I will definitely order from them again! Wish I could test it out after it charges but I gotta go to work in like 30 minutes. I can't wait to try it out later tonight!

Very cool! That is a nice view of half dome, I bet that was a nice sesh. Makes me want to share this photo of me and a few friends using my solo in Canyonlands National Park, Utah in the Needles District. Chesler Park trail to be more specific.

IMO This is what the solo is all about. Anyone else have any cool photos to share of them using the solo outdoors?

I just had a little issue with my M104 - Son of b*tch would not turn off! When I held down both buttons as usual it would only go into idle mode - I plugged it in so I know its off now but has anyone had this issue?
